In terms of quality, Storm Brain always asked us for ways to improve things. Storm Brain was detail-oriented, and I loved that they were communicative. I could send the man an email any hour of the day or night, and Blake or his team would get back to me right away. Further, there was never any question that was too big or too small for Blake. We couldn’t talk to the founders of other companies. Blake, on the other hand, was extremely personable. We never felt that he was removed from us in any way. There wasn’t any alarming major transition since they were so open to us about everything.

The biggest piece of the project that Brolik put together, the biggest deliverable, was the content model. There was so much content to deal with, but Brolik did an impressively thorough job on the content model. It's a very comprehensive document that I know took them many months, much research, and much revision to put together. I was very impressed with their work on that content model. I also think that the research that Brolik did on the target segment side – on the personas – was impressive. I've worked with many agencies in my career. I really felt that I had never worked with an agency that was just so comprehensive in the work that they were doing.

One of the big things I would underscore about Tonic is the flexibility of their content modules. I've worked with design companies in the past that treat each webpage as a separate endeavor with new price points, but Tonic’s modules made it easy to apply their designs to multiple pages. As a midsize agency, they're able to be extremely nimble. They’re not so big that internal red tape complicates project pivots, but they’re still large enough to accomplish any goals set by the client. Their perfect size allows them to respond quickly and effectively to any project changes.
