Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of Allegiant Intelligence, LLC.
What challenge were you trying to address with Citro Digital?
We needed assistance with Google Ads and ROI tracking for a client.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Citro set up our PPC campaigns and provided assistance with SEO keywords and how to implement those into Google Ads.
Google Ads has changed so much in the past. Their team researched and were helping in teaching me about the new parameters. Citro clarified any areas where I could get confused within Google Ads.

How did you come to work with Citro Digital?
I had worked with Hillary in the past when we were working for different clients. I was introduced to her through a need I had for PPC. We had a successful, cost-effective series of campaigns and when she started working for Citro, we continued our relationship into my business.

We worked together between January and May 2018.
What evidence can you share the demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We were able to open up a tight market in a busy area for my client. Due to building a brand in a new demographic, it required experimentation and expansion. Citro was helpful in figuring out how we could diversify the brand message to reach the highest number of prospects.
How did Citro Digital perform from a project management standpoint?
Citro performed admirably considering what was at stake for me. I worked hard to bring in this client. I needed a thoughtful leader to guide me through the Google Ads campaigning. Citro implemented their suggestions successfully and was the perfect leader in this project.
I communicate with Hillary at least once a month. The frequency depends on the particular project.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Citro’s level of knowledge is what’s vital. With experience comes capability, your ability as a marketer is dependent upon your concept and execution. It’s a much more diversified landscape for marketers these days. I found Citro to be highly valuable in terms of product knowledge and execution.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could use more staffing, but I’ll be a matter of time with the number of clients that Citro brings in.

Every client relationship is unique. I recommend being open, honest, and transparent in your goals. Citro Digital will provide the advice that’s needed to reach those goals.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of a biopharmaceutical laboratory that does analytical and microbiological testing of pharmaceuticals.
What challenge were you trying to address with Citro Digital?
We needed resources to oversee our social media efforts and increase our visibility, both in terms of brand awareness and community engagement. Previously, we were randomly posting content without considering if we were projecting a coherent image. Citro Digital supported us on this front before expanding their role into app development.
What was the scope of their involvement?
As I’ve mentioned, we initially handled all of the social media ourselves but found it to be too inefficient. Our content wasn’t concise and didn’t align with what we wanted to present digitally. Citro Digital was able to streamline the process, develop a coherent image, and write posts for our social media channels (e.g., Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook). Now, if we want to promote an event or recognize an employee, we give them the relevant information, and they develop the content for us.
Beyond social media, they’re also creating a voice app for Alexa and Google Home. Because our clients generally work in R&D and have long hours, they only have time to contact us when we’re not available. The app would allow our clients to pose frequently asked questions and receive answers during non-business hours. Furthermore, if a client has any inquiries about their studies, they’re able to set up an appointment with us without having to interrupt their workday.
On our side, we hope to utilize the app in our laboratories to streamline our processes. Currently, when we receive studies, a technician logs the project, and a scientist performs the tests on the pharmaceutical samples. If we need to update the client about the status of their samples, one of our staff has to take note of everything we’ve done for the day and then type out the emails. We don’t have time to do this within the lab itself. With the app, we could directly interact with Alexa or Google Home to send the client status updates about their studies. This includes progress reports, issue notification, and requests for information.
They currently continue to manage our social media and are developing the app for launch in the near future.
What is the team composition?
I work with an account manager and a specialist who does content creation.
How did you come to work with Citro Digital?
In the beginning, I wasn’t sure if we really needed an external agency to handle our social media. I reached out to three companies, including Citro Digital, to get quotes. Luckily, Citro Digital is located within our building, and they had an impressive portfolio showcasing their capabilities. They also showed me statistics on how they’ve changed other companies’ social media presence. Once they completed a trial period with us, we felt comfortable enough to expand the engagement.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent about $20,000–$30,000 thus far, which includes both the app development and social media spend.
What is the status of this engagement?
Their work began in February 2018 and is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Looking at our Google Analytics and social media insights, we’ve seen a noticeable increase in site traffic and user engagement on our posts. The content is better worded, and each has a unique point to encourage interaction. As for app development, we’ve informed our clients of the new features we have planned, and they seem very excited about it.
How did Citro Digital perform from a project management standpoint?
They handle everything for us, so we don’t have to manage much at all on our end. Because they’re in the office building with us, it’s easy to meet with them face-to-face.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I appreciate that they took the time to get to know us. Rather than just taking our ideas and regurgitating them, they really tried to understand the image that we wanted to present. They’ve tailored our content to fit a cohesive brand, which has been crucial to growing our traffic.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be patient with their process, and let them get to know you because it’s worth it in the end. For me, I didn’t consider social media and image to be particularly important when posting, so I became a bit flustered with how thoroughly their process was. But now, I can see what they were trying to do and why they needed to understand us. Defining our image has been key to our success.
