Help Slow COVID-19: Public Health Microsite
An amazing launch that we are very proud of. It was built in 24 hours exactly. Launched on March 12, one day after the pandemic was announced by the World Health Organization, this award-winning site was made in conjunction with our NJ partners.
The effects of the public health crisis began only a day after the pandemic was announced by the World Health Organization. With this site, we are proud to support the health of individuals everywhere. To top it off, Help Slow COVID-19 reached nearly three-thousand executives, public health officials, and residents. It was recognized with a Gold in the 2020 Muse Creative Awards competition hosted by International Awards Associate.

Growing Membership and societal-wide impact through a New Brand and Online Plaform
Key Medium created a new brand identity and refined what the Coalition stands for to strengthen brand awareness. The new design and branding maximized impact through program-driven information architecture.
We conducted market research, stakeholder surveys, and design thinking workshops to refine the site’s offerings and prioritize information. The workshops found out what information users most wanted to find quickly, which is why the bike maps are on the home page as well as links to the latest blog posts, which share updates and local bike-related news.
Via fine-tuning the entire website’s text, we strengthened the messaging and created a design tailored towards their action-oriented goals. The organization wanted to be presented as fun and animated and we delivered. The website depicts colorful images of bike rides in the area and users find the interactive bike map helpful, especially as the entire site’s design is adapted for mobile use, meaning on-the-go users can easily access the site’s vital information when out on long rides.

Key Medium provided 100% of the website development services as an extension of the State and Branding Agency Team.

Patriots Week
Created a virtual event guide in 2019 to help tourists and American history enthusiasts attend and find reenactments and events going on during Patriots Week. In 2020, with a nontraditional Patriots Week, we supported the pivot to virtual programming and continue to provide ongoing support to the Community Improvement District (CID) of Downtown Trenton.

Please describe your company and your position there.
As a Business Development Specialist, I network with area employers to assess employment needs and advise job seekers to place qualified, well-fitting candidates to meet companies' needs.
For what projects/services did your company hire Key Medium?
Due to organization website becoming increasingly out of date, Key Medium was used to completely overhaul our website based on a collaborative process of determining goals and expectations for the project.
What were your goals for this project?
We desired a new website to cover our organization's many projects and initiatives, have accessible interface, and mobile site customization.
How did you select this vendor?
Key Medium had an impressive profile of working with similar organizations and organization/layout of those websites were an impressive model of what we hoped to achieve. Key Medium was competitive and offered a wide range of additional services.
Describe the project in detail.
Our team determined the goals of our website and information that was pertinent. Key Medium assessed our needs and helped us clarify the audiences for our different initiatives, and subsequently tailor our language and presentation for the appropriate audiences.
Furthermore, areas for improvement were met, such as needing a competitive mobile interface based on a large amount of users accessing our website via phone/tablet and addressing a need for a new color suite to meet modern standards for accessibility and usable display for end users.
What was the team composition?
Our organization included input and feedback from upper management, social media & marketing, information technology (for future maintenance purposes), and additional staff. Key Medium coordinated with all directly with a small team of point staff.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Interactions with clientele have been improved by easily accessible information via organization website to provide additional reference materials. Ability to disseminate information and share an overview of services has improved greatly.
