We started working with them about three years ago.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’re good developers; we don’t have any doubt about their skills. However, they haven’t finished, and it’s been a long time since we started the project. It has affected us because we’ve lost investors, which has been very exhausting.

How did  Xtreem Solution perform from a project management standpoint?

They haven’t performed well. The project has taken much longer than we expected, so we haven’t been able to start operations.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re good developers, but their project management is terrible.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They should stick to deadlines. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

You can work with them if you don’t care about waiting a long time to get your product. On the other hand, they might not be your best choice if you have to meet a deadline.

For what projects/services did your company hire , and what were your goals?

We wanted to develop a mobile app that was fully functional for v1/pilot of our concept. The concept is complex, with interactions between 3 different user types, and needed to prove the concept, without being too bulky and expensive.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched online for the right development team based on proven track record, price and perceived value.

We had a series of discovery meetings and to fully explain the concept. Afterwards, Dinesh set up 4 different deliverable time periods with matching milestones. At the end of the app development, I decided to add additional features, which led to two additional milestones.

This is hard for me to determine At least 3, but I believe many more. I worked most closely with Dinesh, who was the project lead and his lead developer. They managed everything on their end with their other employees.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We've just begun using the app as a pilot in Israel with great feedback, as well as utilizing it as a fully functional demo to corporates in the US. The backend was designed well to capture important data to show potential future investors.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The project manager (Dinesh) was very easy to talk with. He was attentive, flexible, and made updates quickly. He managed everything on his end, so outside the few times I needed to speak quickly

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

That after the first month or so, I felt completely at ease even though they were in a different country. I had no doubt the product would come out great, and that they would be upfront and honest with me.

Not really

The project is the kickoff of my start up... once it is proved by the market I believe we can expend business together...They share their valuable experience always open and friendly.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The communication was very good. For the next project I would prefer to work on comment approuc cloud based. To have a real time documentation on single to Dos / Backlog....

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I experienced a 24/7 communication channel that helped to optimize progress continously... further I appreciated the direct contact to the technical team where necessary.

Are there any areas for improvement?

The only thing I would change for next time os the documentation of backlog and work in progress. I would prefer an simultanous cloud solution real time, better than sending documents and messages...

Our client’s existing website was not very user-friendly, so we needed to replace it.

Xtreem Solution designed a website mockup. Once our client approved the design, Xtreem Solution coded the site using WordPress and WooCommerce. They built home, product, and contact pages in PDF format.

I worked directly with a project manager. I didn’t know what the rest of their team composition was.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

I still use their website as an example of the quality work that my firm can deliver.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We managed the project via Skype for Business, and this met our needs.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Xtreem Solution required very little supervision. For the tasks asked of them, they delivered an excellent outcome.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There’s always room for improvement. Their costs were a bit high, but we received first-class quality. We didn’t mind spending a little more for the results we wanted.

I would like to hold meetings during normal business hours, but it's understandable that that’s not always possible when dealing with a company overseas.

The concern they have for their clients is excellent. Their goal is to make the customer happy no matter how difficult the job. Their communication was top-notch.

I’m the owner of a mobile app startup. We’re creating an app that allows people to order photographic prints.

What challenge were you trying to address with Xtreem Solution?

After our previous vendor failed, we reached out to Xtreem Solution to build our mobile app for Android and iOS.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They used our wireframes to develop a mobile app for iOS and Android. Our product allows users to upload and edit images before ordering prints. Key features include cropping, rotating, and brightness/contrast adjustment. After editing, users can type in their address, and the app will automatically display the nearest printing locations for pickup. We’re currently still in development.

What is the team composition?

I work with a project manager and developer.

How did you come to work with Xtreem Solution?

I found both my previous vendor and Xtreem Solution through a freelancer website. The first freelancer couldn’t satisfy my requirements, so I switched to Xtreem Solution. During our initial discussions, they asked detailed questions and tried to really understand my app, so I went with them.

How much have you invested with them?

Since we’re still in development, I’ve only invested $4,000 so far, but our total price will be about $10,000. We agreed upon the price before the project started, and they’ve kept to budget.

What is the status of this engagement?

Their work started in July 2018 and is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’re still working on some of the more complex functions, but I’m satisfied with everything they’ve provided so far. They’re communicative and are doing a good job.

How did Xtreem Solution perform from a project management standpoint?

They work iteratively, giving me updated versions to review and implementing my feedback. Since I don’t always have time to go over their work, we don’t have a set deadline. However, they’re quick to respond and give me updates on in-progress and pending tasks. Typically we communicate using the freelancer site’s chat function or Skype.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Our app isn’t finished yet, so it’s hard to gauge the results. However, compared to our previous vendor, Xtreem Solution develops at a higher level.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t have any complaints about their process. The communication is great, which is the most important aspect of a client-vendor relationship.

What challenge were you trying to address with Xtreem Solution?

I needed a website built. Because I'm from a design background, I was very specific on the look and feel that I needed for the site.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I initially spoke to Shivratan (co-founder & CEO, Xtreem Solution) who walked me through the entire process. He told me what it was going to cost and gave me an idea on the amount of time it would take. Then he gave me a list of all the things that I needed to provide them. I described the sort of website I wanted and the design identity of my company. They sent me a few links to websites and design templates that they thought were the direction I wanted. Once I gave them a shortlist of the ones that I liked, they figured out which one would work best.

Xtreem Solution created a WordPress site using a design template. The homepage features nine images as tiles that take users to the rest of the portfolio images when they click the tiles. I was very specific on the way I wanted the tiles laid out. They linked the website queries to my email address so that any questions come directly to me. They also made sure the site is usable on every kind of device from a computer to a tablet to a phone.

They’re continuing to provide service after the site launched, in case there are any sort of malware issues. They also gave me an instruction sheet for how to change images, add to my blog, and maintain basic things on the backend.

What is the team composition?

I primarily dealt with Dinesh (Senior Business Analyst, Xtreem Solution) as my assigned project manager. I give him the information, and he discusses it with the team. I'm not sure how many other people they had working on the project.

How did you come to work with Xtreem Solution?

I found them through reviews on Upwork. I compared them to a couple of other firms just so I knew that I was hiring the right people. They also sent me examples of work that they've done previously, which helped me make my decision quite easy.

How much have you invested with them?

I spent around $12,000 AUD (approximately $8,650 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together between May–July 2018.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I ended up with a great website because of their quality work. The feedback is that the site is fantastic and loads quickly. My clients like that it’s so clean and usable on their mobile phones. Without a doubt, they did a great job. They achieved my particular vision of what I wanted. I have no complaints.

How did Xtreem Solution perform from a project management standpoint?

They actually tracked the entire process for me. I gave them a starting sum and then paid them every time a milestone was completed. They completely kept on top of everything. They let me know when they finished a milestone and everything that was promised in the contract. They were always on time and very responsive to any queries. It was very important to them that I was happy, even when I wanted to make changes.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They gave me an enormous amount of information and contact. Even taking into account the time difference, I got a response immediately whenever I asked a question. They never said they were too busy working on other things or they’d get back to me. The overall process was quite quick. At the end of the day, they achieved my vision so I'm happy.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not really. They were the first website provider that I worked with. They gave me the greatest value for my money, and were the most responsive.

I’m the co-founder of a startup that provides financial comparison services to consumers, helping them save money.

What challenge were you trying to address with Xtreem Solution?

We needed a development partner to build the first version of our web platform, which eventually turned into a second version.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Xtreem Solution built our product from scratch. Consumers upload details and expenditures from their bank account, and the platform analyzes and categories the transactions, suggesting ways the user can save money. We provided business specs and a general layout, and Xtreem Solution turned those concepts into design pages. We reviewed the work, then they built the functionalities that allowed the platform to onboard information from a bank PDF or spreadsheet and categorize it into different spend. They also took care of our SSL certificates and operated and updated the AWS hosting environment.

The backend admin portion of the platform allows us to change the level of savings, manipulate the search criteria in the directory, and add extra categories. They made the backend flexible and easy to use so that we could work it by ourselves. They mainly used C++, HTML, and Java to work on the project. In the second version, Xtreem Solution integrated an API that worked with a third-party product to link users’ bank accounts directly to our platform. Now, users don’t have to manually upload their expenditures.

We found them on Upwork. We interviewed about nine other companies and selected Xtreem Solution because they’d done similar projects before and had a good reputation.

There were very few issues or bugs with Xtreem Solution’s work. We identified a few small problems in beta testing, but when the platform went live, it worked exceptionally well.

How did Xtreem Solution perform from a project management standpoint?

Although the time difference could be difficult, Xtreem Solution was generally responsive. Whenever we asked questions, they would provide examples of how things worked to clearly explain. We held frequent meetings to stay updated.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were an incredibly good value for our money. They built a complicated transactional platform, which we can operate by ourselves because they made it so seamless.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could communicate more clearly how long a task will take. Sometimes things took longer than expected.

What challenge were you trying to address with Xtreem Solution?

I have an e-commerce background, but I really wanted someone familiar with Shopify to help me create an e-commerce website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Xtreem Solution developed a responsive e-commerce site in two phases. They did an initial build, just to get something up. Together we came up with a wireframe and fleshed out the basic design. That took 1–2 months. Once we launched the site, we moved into an ongoing optimization phase. They’ve created graphics and content for various pages.

They helped me figure out what existing apps we could use versus what custom functionality they needed to build. For example, they used an off-the-shelf app to display customer reviews. However, there wasn't a good enough app to handle the upsell and cross-sell functionality that I wanted. They built custom functionality to recommend a more expensive model when a customer selects a hose, or recommends other related products.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

My main goal in creating an e-commerce site was to convert traffic into sales. Thanks to Xtreem Solution, the site has attained a substantially high conversion rate.

Also, I get constant feedback on how professional the site looks. One challenge in starting a new business is convincing potential customers that you’re a real business and not a scam. They’ve done a great job in showing that we’re legitimate by incorporating a live chat and a detailed About Us section. The site not only looks professional, but users feel comfortable making purchases on the site.

How did Xtreem Solution perform from a project management standpoint?

Their team did a great job of putting together a project timeline for the initial development and build. As we moved into the optimization phase, their schedule is more fluid. Initially, we were using Excel. I asked them to switch to Trello, which has worked out well. I'm very satisfied with their communication, and how quickly they complete tasks.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re so versatile that they can do anything. I've also used them for complicated machine learning projects and to develop iPhone and Android apps. I have complete confidence that no matter what I ask them to do, they will do a great job.

Any advice for potential customers?

Make sure you know exactly what you want, and put in as much detail as possible. The more detail, the better your product will be.
