We’ve also had very few issues in terms of bugs and errors within the apps. Cleveroad performed well in terms of project management. In about ten weeks, they produced over 30 prototype specs across roughly 20 feature areas, around 60 QA reports and 13 deployed clickable builds, all of which I reviewed before any production code was written. Several of those features were rejected or reshaped at the prototype stage, so we did not spend extra development sprints. The prototypes became commercial assets, not just internal artifacts. The white-label prototype was good enough that I signed it off with no change requests and started using it directly for business development.

We also had a dedicated Slack channel for the project through which we could communicate directly with the engineers and we would recommend that to everyone. We also used email at some level, but we used Trello and another time tracking platform as well which they would use to make notes. Google Docs and spreadsheets for documentation and some project management.
