Apart from a time when there was a wire cut outside our office in DC, which didn’t have anything to do with designDATA, we haven’t had an outage anywhere in the world. I have to say, it was pretty amazing how we transitioned with designDATA during a pandemic when all of our offices shut down at slightly different times. In our Washington DC office, there weren’t any notices, because it was reported that someone in our building had tested positive for COVID-19 — everyone grabbed their laptops, went home, and we got them back online almost immediately.

They respond super quickly without making it hard for us to explain anything. We had to switch out a couple of the original resources they’d given us because they didn’t fit our culture. We also still have weekly meetings for about 30 minutes to an hour. We have a Microsoft Teams chat for urgent inquiries and open email communication.

It was 8 a.m. and they were on the phone with the Cannon rep walking us through how to set it up. When we need support, we send an email to their support email and then they either set up a ticket or call us back. We can call them after hours and somebody always answers.

Even though the customer portal lets me accomplish most of my routine tasks, if I have an unusual question or request, Josh has been able to take care of them quickly and effectively. When Josh notices opportunities for us to change the equipment or services we pay for, he lets me know so we can make a decision. We've had no surprises except for times when money has been saved on our behalf, without service interruptions.
