"They’ve completed everything that we’ve asked for within the designated timeframes."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I work in commercial strategy at a regional bank.
What challenge were you trying to address with CyberDuo?
We hired them to support a company that we acquired. We have certain regulatory requirements to meet.
What was the scope of their involvement?
CyberDuo provides technical support. They implemented a series of hardening controls to meet our requirements from a bank perspective which included cybersecurity standards and user access controls.
We reviewed requirements with them, and they did the scope and execution. The team will also be supporting any of the integration items that we’ll have as we look to integrate the acquired accompany. They’re going to continue supporting the technical aspects of the company.
What is the team composition?
We work with two people: Kevin (CEO) and Victor (Senior Engineer).
How did you come to work with CyberDuo?
They were already supporting the company that we acquired, so for continuity purposes, we decided not to replace them.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent between $25,000–$50,000. We honored the contract they had in the past.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with CyberDuo in March 2020, and the project is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They’re meeting all of the requirements. When we ask questions about their environment or processes, the team is very forthcoming about their approach and how they would handle certain situations. CyberDuo has implemented everything we’ve asked.
How did CyberDuo perform from a project management standpoint?
The team is very responsive and very helpful, and they’ve completed everything that we’ve asked for within the designated timeframes. If it meant working after hours, they did it. CyberDuo was focused on making sure that the work was being done.
What did you find most impressive about them?
CyberDuo is very supportive and forthcoming in their communication.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I have no suggestions. The team is very reactive.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Make sure you have the right level of engagement. If you don’t, make sure to let them know. When we asked them for solutions, they came up with them very quickly.

Cybersecurity for Entertainment Lighting Manufacturer
"They’re always willing to assist us with our issues and provide cost-effective solutions."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the senior project specialist of an entertainment lighting manufacturer and distributor.
What challenge were you trying to address with CyberDuo?
We had an incident where somebody was probing into our system, so we were looking to harden our defenses against data breaches.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We started the cybersecurity project with them giving us a checklist of items that needed to be done immediately and discussed everything through unpaid consultation services. The team then provided us with one of the top three security software and hardware appropriate to our needs.
CyberDuo is now in-depth with four different projects listed for this year to continually improve our cybersecurity defenses. Moreover, they also provide us with maintenance support and software consultation, suggesting different software like Azure and Liquid Web.
What is the team composition?
I have direct contact with the CEO, the head investigator, and the engineer.
How did you come to work with CyberDuo?
They were referred to us by a colleague who had also undergone a security hack.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing partnership started in January 2022.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Since partnering with CyberDuo, we’ve been getting less than 10 cyberattacks, and those 10 hits are constantly monitored and sandboxed consistently. Their team is great at resolving technical issues, as they’ve suggested a backup system on the premises and the cloud.
How did CyberDuo perform from a project management standpoint?
They perform well from a project management standpoint, as they’re able to overcome the occasional hiccups and keep the project on track. We regularly communicate through phone, email, and Zoom for walkthroughs.
The team reaches out to ask how things are going and see if they can lend their expertise to our issues, so they’ve been highly proactive and responsive.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Above all, their biggest strength is their integrity. They’re always willing to assist us with our issues and provide cost-effective solutions.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I haven’t had the opportunity to view something that needs improvement, but they could invest more in marketing and less in word-of-mouth.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would advise you to be open and listen to their recommendations.

Managed IT & Cybersecurity Infrastructure for Law Firm
“CyberDuo is trustworthy — we feel safe with them.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m an attorney at a law firm.
What challenge were you trying to address with CyberDuo?
As a law firm, we wanted to make sure our clients’ information was confidential at all times. Emails and documents must be safe, and no leaks should happen. We wanted to make sure everything was safe within our computer systems and databases and that we had an adequate backup for all of our files. Given that, we engaged CyberDuo.
What was the scope of their involvement?
CyberDuo has created a cybersecurity infrastructure for us. They provide self-explanatory documentation of what they do for us. The team also works on our software and hardware needs, providing on- and offsite services. On top of that, they do maintenance for us, ensuring that everything on our side is good.
What is the team composition?
We work with at least three people from CyberDuo. I’m in touch with Kevin (CEO), but I communicate with other team members every now and then.
How did you come to work with CyberDuo?
We were in the same building as CyberDuo, so we didn’t search far when we needed this service. They were much easier to access than others, and that was how we started the engagement.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with CyberDuo in November 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The cybersecurity infrastructure has been great. It has made things easier for us, and we haven’t had any issues.
How did CyberDuo perform from a project management standpoint?
Everything has been done as promised. CyberDuo does tasks within our deadlines. If they say they’ll finish something within a week, it will be done accordingly. Moreover, their communication has been perfect; we use emails and phone calls. On top of that, the budget hasn’t been changed since it was estimated.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their trustworthiness is impressive. We have business with several practices, and it’s crucial for us to keep confidential information safe. With that in mind, CyberDuo is trustworthy — we feel safe with them.
Aside from that, they do everything quickly. They work with other big clients, such as banks. Knowing that they can accommodate our needs quickly while working with those clients is truly impressive.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there aren’t any.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Look no further than CyberDuo.

Cybersecurity Services for Investment Management Company
"I am really impressed with their responsiveness."

the review
The client submitted this review online.
Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm a co-founder of an Investment Management company that is focused on alternative investments with several portfolios under management.
For what projects/services did your company hire CyberDuo?
We were looking for an external cybersecurity company to monitor our infrastructure because we provide financial service and security is one of the main important parts of our business.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We searched online for cybersecurity firms in our area and shortlisted 3. After interviewing them, we chose this vendor based on their experience and service package.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
They performed a cybersecurity audit, identified issues, closed all the gaps, and currently monitoring our infrastructure (both endpoints and cloud resources).
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We have a main Engineer and a customer success manager.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
As long as we know we are secure it means they do their work. We have a lot of sensitive data on our side and considering the current hacking situation in the world protection becomes so crucial.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow was straight-forward. During onboarding, they assign a project manager who made sure that we have all the checkboxes checked. Upon completion, they assigned a success manager and a main engineer who are responsible for all the incidents.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I am really impressed with their responsiveness. We can reach them in 2 minutes.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
So far so good. We started recently and happy with their services.

Network Management & Cybersecurity Services for Tech Co
"CyberDuo listens to understand our challenges and then works on solutions that fit our constraints."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re a tech company building a B2B platform for brands to create AR content for social platforms. I’m the chief product officer.
What challenge were you trying to address with CyberDuo?
As we’re a small startup, I wear many hats. I'm also responsible for IT and engineering. That’s how I came to work with Cyberduo.
We needed to implement a security policy for our network. At the time, we had a physical office and wanted to upgrade our network to be compliant with security best practices.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We initially discussed our needs and goals, and then CyberDuo told us what we needed and why we needed it. Kevin (CEO) talked with us about various systems’ pros and cons, helping us to understand what we needed now and what we needed later. Their team then built a plan for our network security architecture. Kevin told us that we first needed to secure our endpoints —computers and devices used by our team. He provided different options and then we selected software. CyberDuo licensed the software, rolled it out, and onboarded our team.
We also wanted to secure our on-premises network. They shared different options for hardware firewalls, network routers, and WiFi devices that we could place in the building to work in combination.
What is the team composition?
I interacted with Kevin and another network engineer.
How did you come to work with CyberDuo?
We didn’t know in which direction we should go, so I talked with a bunch of different folks after searching for local vendors. CyberDuo was the most collaborative, informative, and willing to work with us to understand our particular needs. Their team was able to provide us with an affordable direction that fit our current needs but also supported growth. We evaluated other local IT vendors, but Kevin was more direct and plain-spoken.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent about $10,000 on their servers.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started our engagement in February 2020, and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
CyberDuo found the right solution for our problem and budget. Their team is extremely responsive. They go above and beyond to make themselves available to address any challenges or issues that arise.
Due to COVID-19, we downsized our office space. CyberDuo quickly moved our network devices, scheduling the move on short notice. Although we're a smaller customer, we still feel important. Any time I ask, Kevin makes himself available to talk through ideas with me. They’re a trusted advisor, and we’re looking to take the next steps with them.
How did CyberDuo perform from a project management standpoint?
Their communication’s clear. They’re reliable and accountable. If there’s an issue, they jump into it. CyberDuo does a great job, especially for the level of our engagement. Although we’re not a massive client, they’re willing to keep a high level of communication and engagement with us.
What did you find most impressive about them?
CyberDuo listens to understand our challenges and then works on solutions that fit our constraints. They also provide expert opinions about solutions according to our goals, which is important. Their team makes clear the trade-offs of solutions and tells us what is or isn’t necessary.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They’ve exceeded my expectations, but I’m not experienced in this space.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Describe your needs and goals to CyberDuo. They will then tell you what you need or don’t need at the moment while also looking towards your long-term goals. Their team provides a host of solutions. You’ll receive thoughtful and cost-competitive solutions.

Managed IT Services for Podiatry Practices
"I’m most impressed by how quickly they solve our IT problems."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CFO for a traditional medical practice with two podiatry offices.
What challenge were you trying to address with CyberDuo?
We needed to address our nearly constant technical problems. When we have technical problems, our entire business is affected because we use an EMR system. If there’s a technical problem, it slows down our practices.
What was the scope of their involvement?
CyberDuo onboarded and reviewed our entire inventory, including computers and printers. Their team then organized our entire IT structure. They now manage the day-to-day IT operations of our two locations. When there’s an issue, their team remotely logs into whichever computer has an issue and fix it. If there’s an issue that their team can’t handle remotely, they provide help on-site.
What is the team composition?
We usually deal with two engineers.
How did you come to work with CyberDuo?
We researched online and interviewed different companies. After we received CyberDuo’s proposal, we talked with a few of their clients who gave them great reviews. They also had a strong online presence. We analyzed different proposals but felt most confident in CyberDuo and decided to move forward with them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $25,000 on their services.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started our ongoing relationship around June 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The most important metric is that everything works, so our engagement is a success. Before we worked with them, we constantly had time-consuming technical problems. Since we started with CyberDuo, we haven’t had any IT issues. Their turnaround time is lightning fast.
How did CyberDuo perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re superstars. If there’s an issue, they fix it the same day that it’s identified. Their team will come on-site the same day that there’s an issue because they care that we have uninterrupted service, which I find super impressive.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’m most impressed by how quickly they solve our IT problems.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, we’re all thrilled with CyberDuo.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
If you’re having constant IT issues, get out of your partnership with that service provider. I would recommend moving quickly. Ensure that you partner with a company that’ll meet your needs.

the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the office manager of a medical group of cardiologists.
What challenge were you trying to address with CyberDuo?
Our concern was effectively protecting our patients’ information from potential cyber attacks. Additionally, we wanted to make sure that we were storing information properly, complying with any relevant regulations.
What was the scope of their involvement?
When they came on board, they replaced our server and made many suggestions on how to improve our business from a cybersecurity standpoint. We were having issues with our computers as well, so they added more equipment to mitigate our network issues.
What is the team composition?
We primarily keep in touch with Kevin (CEO) and Victor (Senior Engineer).
How did you come to work with CyberDuo?
The owner of the practice was referred to their services by a friend who had a positive experience with them. We decided to give them a try and have been happy with them ever since.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent about $20,000 on the equipment upgrade, $3,000–$5,000 on minor upgrades on an ad hoc basis, and about $30,000 each year on their general services to us.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since January 2017.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
After they made upgrades to our server room, we stopped having the tech issues that we were having before. We are 100% confident in our security capabilities, giving our team complete peace of mind.
How did CyberDuo perform from a project management standpoint?
Oftentimes, I need to get in touch with them while working from home. They’re always available to solve problems with us, even on weekends.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’ve worked with past providers that haven’t always replied to us in a timely manner. We’re very happy with their communication and response time. They’re always available to us.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We’re always working to improve, and they actively search for solutions that will benefit us. I can’t think of anything for them to improve at this moment.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Take advantage of their 24/7 availability and knowledge. We’re not experts in IT, so we relied on them for recommendations. I’d suggest that other companies take advantage of their knowledge in the industry.

IT Management for Power Sports Manufacturer & Distributor
“I can’t imagine that we would get better service from a more expensive IT support provider.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the general manager at SSR Motorsports. We’re a manufacturer and distributor of power sports equipment, so ATVs, dirt bikes, on-road motorcycles, ATVs, and electric bicycles.
What challenge were you trying to address with CyberDuo?
We wanted a standardized IT within the company because we grew pretty quickly. I initially handled the IT, but as we grew, it became too much. We needed newer, more sophisticated equipment. As we considered IT support, we knew that we didn’t need a full-time team member, so we looked to find an outsource partner and chose CyberDuo.
What was the scope of their involvement?
When we first started with them, they worked with fifteen workstations along with any kind of supporting equipment, such as printers and devices. They also handled two servers.
Initially, they were focused on security and were going to make sure that every computer was up to date on licensing and anti-virus software. Then they upgraded the firewall. Once they set up that structure, they continued to maintain it.
On top of that, they’re our primary technical support. So instead of coming to me, my team can go to them when they need help.
Most of what they do can be handled remotely, but they come on-site when needed. When we have new equipment, they come to our office. One time, the server failed and they came on-site to fix that on the same day.
What is the team composition?
Over time, about three people have touched our project. At the beginning, Kevin (CEO) was very hands-on, but the main person handling our account is Victor (Senior Engineer). We worked with someone else briefly to support Victor.
When it comes to looking forward and planning the future, Kevin (CEO) is always available for a consultation. He’s always able to suggest how they can help handle things going forward.
How did you come to work with CyberDuo?
I found them through a Google search. We contacted a bunch of different companies for quotes. The biggest deciding factor for us was value and attention to the customer. Most companies that we considered weren’t a good fit for us. Some showed their service offerings, but they weren’t very flexible. For some situations, their response times were 24–48 hours, but that would halt business for us.
CyberDuo, in comparison, was more attentive. We were working with their CEO directly, and at the very beginning, they promised that they would pick up whenever we called. If it’s something they can handle quickly, they’re able to help right away.
How much have you invested with them?
It started off pretty low cost because it was just the managed service, but we’re looking at a few new projects. It’s probably going to be over $200,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in November 2017 and our engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
My time freed up significantly. No one needs to come to me because CyberDuo is able to handle it. The fact that everything runs smoothly is a big improvement for us.
How did CyberDuo perform from a project management standpoint?
There have never been delays. At certain times they’ve said that they’re busy and have asked to get back to us, but if it’s rushed, they’ll get back to us.
They keep us up to date on what they’re doing and they take care of any problems. There were a few times when they noticed that our equipment was hacked, and they noticed that right away. They notice a lot on the backend that we’re not aware of and are able to resolve it. They also communicate well and are super responsive. We can reach them over email and phone.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’ve been impressed by their responsiveness and how easy it is to work with them. They bring a lot of value to our company. Price-wise, they’re excellent. I can’t imagine that we would get better service from a more expensive IT support provider.
They also have a lot of resources. For example, they partner with equipment companies, so they can get us better prices when we need new equipment.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Not so far.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Let them know everything about your IT. Tell them all about your troubles because they can be trusted. Other companies sometimes look at all of those problems and will take advantage of that by increasing their pricing. CyberDuo won’t do that. They’re very honest partners.

IT Monitoring & Sever Migration for High School
"CyberDuo catered their model to what we needed."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of operations at St. Francis High School, an all-boys Catholic private school.
What challenge were you trying to address with CyberDuo?
Our IT director left, so we hired CyberDuo to fill that void for us. We wanted to make sure that our network and infrastructure when it came to technology were secure.
What was the scope of their involvement?
CyberDuo proposed a plan to set up monitoring software so that they could see our network and security at all times from their own location. They provide 24-hour support to make sure that there are no threats or issues.
In addition, we were not able to access our backup server due to our IT director departing and not giving us that information. So, they proposed a plan to install a new backup server and also migrate us toward the cloud backup, which was extremely beneficial. They've continued to do additional monitoring.
What is the team composition?
I mostly work with Victor (Senior Engineer) and Kevin (CEO).
How did you come to work with CyberDuo?
I searched on Google, and after digging a little deeper, I felt that CyberDuo was the right fit in terms of the size of their company. We’re not a huge organization, so I knew that they would understand our needs, which they confirmed in the initial conversation. They visited our site and server room, which we also liked.
How much have you invested with them?
We spend $3,500 per month. The backup server and the cloud migration were an additional $7,200.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with them in June 2020, and we plan to keep working with them for the foreseeable future.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They not only set up the outside monitoring of our system, but they also shared it with me so that I could see for myself. From early on, CyberDuo built a system that they knew we would be comfortable with. They made it easy to prove that they were doing what we needed them to do.
How did CyberDuo perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management is fantastic. Victor and Kevin are responsive to text, email, and phone communications. I get a response usually within a couple of minutes. Our internet actually went down recently and I received a phone call from Kevin about a minute after. The team is available 24 hours a day if needed.
What did you find most impressive about them?
CyberDuo catered their model to what we needed, which is outstanding. They initially proposed a much wider scope of work, so I went back to them and told them that it wasn’t what we were looking for.
They then completely custom fit it to what we needed. Some things have come up that have been outside of the scope of work, and we offered to compensate them for their additional time right from the start, but they've actually done a lot of that additional work free of charge.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I wouldn’t change a thing. Their business model is excellent.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Don’t go with the initial package that they think might fit your business and really take your time to explain your needs.
CyberDuo will custom fit what you need, but, as with every company, they will try to sell you the highest model of the outsourced IT needs, which you might not always need. They're so easy to work with, so just have an open conversation with them about what your true needs are and they will fit them.

Network Upgrades & Managed IT Services for LA Nonprofit
"They set a whole new standard of customer service for us."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re a large nonprofit on the west side of Los Angeles. We’re a church community and have an after-school program, a public coffeehouse, and a food pantry. We also live stream content, events, and programs. I’m the director of operations.
What challenge were you trying to address with CyberDuo?
At our coffeehouse, we have 40–80 patrons using the wifi at any given time. At the same time, we have 30–40 students in our after-school program using the network. We also have an administration team that uses the network. We had complications with our network for years, which negatively affected our operations. Our IT support found a full-time position, leading me to pursue CyberDuo.
What was the scope of their involvement?
CyberDuo initially spent hours learning our entire environment. Their team then created a simple list of components that they purchased for me. They then went into our environment to upgrade us cost-effectively. Their team then pulled cables and updated components to improve our network and make it reliable, fast, and safe.
What is the team composition?
I primarily communicate with one person. However, there may be more people behind the scenes.
How did you come to work with CyberDuo?
We needed our network to have incredible security and reliability. However, we’re a nonprofit on a budget. I conducted a comprehensive search and found CyberDuo. Their website and responsiveness stood out. They spent the most time with me on the phone and didn’t give a sales pitch. Instead, their team was authentically interested in what I needed.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve probably spent $8,000–$10,000 on their services so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in March 2020, and our partnership’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I was immediately impressed by the way their team analyzed and processed our environment. Since they started, we haven’t had issues with our network. As we used to always have issues, that’s a striking result.
We had a significant power outage. As soon as that occurred, they let us know and fixed the problem. Now, we have confidence in the system. I don’t have to worry about a catastrophe and can focus on other projects.
How did CyberDuo perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicate through phone, text, and email. I could call them on a Saturday at 6 p.m. and they would talk to me for an hour. They’re constantly available within minutes. Their knowledge and availability are remarkable. I feel like they’re on staff and take their role seriously.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They set a whole new standard of customer service for us. Their team’s protective of our environment in a proactive way. CyberDuo doesn't try to sell us anything; they own the project in a way that’s above and beyond. I don’t say this lightly: they set a different standard.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, nothing comes to mind.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
It requires vulnerability to show a vendor everything because it could cost money to show them the bad components. However, I’m glad that we went deep with them. Lay it all bare because CyberDuo won’t take advantage of your position. They don’t have a hidden agenda, so trust them.

Not only has CyberDuo been able to meet their requirements, but they have also been an incredibly supportive partner. The team’s responsiveness, transparent communication, and helpfulness have all been valuable assets. Additionally, they are committed to ensuring the completion of every task.
