I have used Saturn cloud for machine learning projects which were not possible to run on our desltops or latops. We took 256gb Ram cloud computers with 64 CPUs to train our ML models. The ML models to be trained were part of a Finance project where the trading algorithm needs to predict Cyrptocurrency markets. 

Saturn cloud has almost all the ready to use IT configurations. Whether it be Tensorflow, RAPIDS, NVDIDIA deep learningand all these setups are preconfigured where you do not need to struggle trying to setup the software libraries from Scratch. It also has a feature to add collabortors so your team mates can work on the projects together having access to the same cloud computers and same software libraries. 

Therefore making sharing of work between your team much easier.Saturn cloud also has feature to schedule tasks whereby you can schedule your cloud machine to start, run a task and shutdown automatically. I highly recommend saturn cloud. The ease of use is much better than other provides such as AWS, google cloud, and azure.

We were able to evaluate, train and build ML models for our project that would have otherwise taken us over a year or more to finish.

Saturn Cloud has very good customer support and reply to our team's needs promtly and do the best they can to support us in terms of errors, costs,bonus hours to use the CPUs, etc

User friendlyness, ease of setup and sharing of work amongst team mates

Improve the interface/ debug facilities to setup custom VM Cloud images. ALso hopefully one day add windows compatibility

It's relatively new on the market and at the same time is one of the best solutions for data science compute organisation

The pricing per hour can be cheaper, i assume they might introduce spot instances to reduce prices ( and use might pick between spot instances and other more persistent type of instances)

Lots of tests for Python Apps and Dask Clustering. The platform performed properly, with an excellent performance, high stability and security. We run almost all new services / refactor code over the platform.

I have always been satisfied with Saturn cloud, it is well worth the effort and very rewarding. It is what you need to iterate over and over again to polish your models to the best of its potential since the CPUs it provides are lightning fast.

We wanted to use a platform with accesible price for early stages startup company, the goal was to develop models on the cloud that provide easy ways to collaborate between users.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found a referal by one of the course that we are taking, this was the best solution from all the potential options for the price and support provided.

The project was to take data from several providers and develop a machine learning model that allows to make prediction. First we explore the business metrics and the ideas we wanted to implement. Second we collect the data using data engineering resources. Third we develop machine learning models on the data optimizing and improving the quality of the parameters.For all this we use saturn cloud since the platform allow to develop solutions at each step of the process.

There were 2 people in the core team working on machine learning model, and 1 more on the data engineering portion of the project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We expected to achieve above 60 percent in the accuracy of the prediction, we still are developing our product but overall saturn cloud help to achieve our goals by providing the infracstructure to do it.

The project management to deliver support was amazing, we communicate through slack and email, which was an excellent experience.

They provide support at every step. They put amazing plans together with a wide free tier plan.

I would say everything is great on this platform, maybe some testing period on some of their product will be great, but again with the amount of resources they provided is more than enough to get used to the platform.
