4.5 Mar 11, 2022Although many of their resources were in Europe, Lindsay was in San Francisco, and we were in the UK, we made the project work. The distance between us was never a limitation, mainly because the function specs were built, and we had a technical lead on our side supporting Cylogy. Plus, we had daily standup meetings, and the work was getting done, so the distance didn’t make a difference. When we took them on, we didn’t know them other than through a recommendation, and they became part of our team.

The Envision IT team not only completed the project on time, but were able to deliver full warehouse integration (which was originally flagged as a second stage) well ahead of schedule. Although COVID restrictions meant all meetings were via MS TEAMS video calls, The Envision IT team ensured regular progress updates were scheduled, and additional meetings were held as required.
