I'm the business owner of Roach Charters. We provide yacht and kayak rental services to our clients in Toronto and the local area.

What challenge were you trying to address with Telkoware?

We needed Telkoware to help us gain an online presence for our business. Since we didn’t have any, people online weren’t aware of the services we offered, which was a challenge for us in terms of marketing perspective. We wanted to increase our sales by getting more customers.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Telkoware offers quite a diverse set of services, but we signed up with them for website design and development, website support and maintenance, and web and email hosting.

We initially started with logo design. They designed a couple of logos for us, in which we shortlisted one of them. We used the logo to design the WordPress website they built for us. They nicely created a clear delineation of the type of services we offer, something we wanted to highlight on our website.

Moreover, they provided us with a booking or contact form feature, in which people could fill in their information, which could be captured and sent to our email so that we could give a follow-up with them for further details. They also integrated all our different social media accounts into our website.

What is the team composition?

In total, there were three people assigned to this project. I mostly interacted with the project director, who would work with a web designer and a web developer. 

How did you come to work with Telkoware?

We launched an online search for developers and designers within the area, and Telkoware came up as one of the options we came across with. I reached out to them through their website, and I had some meetings with them and the other possibilities. 

I contacted their CEO, and we discussed their experience, skillset, pricing, the project, and the features we were looking for. I really liked what they could bring to the table, so I decided to hire them. 

How much have you invested with them?

I paid around $2,000 CAD (approximately $1,600 USD) for the website design. On top of that, we paid for their web hosting, logo design, and support of these services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together somewhere around March–April 2020. They were very quick, finishing the entire project in two weeks.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Once it was finished, I started promoting the website by putting it on brochures and business cards. I realized people started visiting my website and generated quite a bit of leads, so I’ve received new customers through the website. In that sense, I believe it was a very good investment on my part to get this website done by the right vendor, which is now giving me good results. 

How did Telkoware perform from a project management standpoint?

We would mostly communicate over the phone or via email, where we’d exchange feedback and changes for keeping track of the project. They also used Microsoft Project and Jira. 

Overall, they were very responsive. They were open to all the changes and the feedback that I provided them with, and even with all the feedback, they were able to incorporate it and make the changes very quickly.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Telkoware’s work quality was amazing. I was impressed with the professional work they delivered on. It was very well done. The team showed their level of experience through their efficient upgrades and delivery. In terms of scheduling,  their turnaround time was amazing, and they were actually ahead of it, getting the website up and running within two weeks. 

They were cost-effective and responsive. If there was anything I needed in terms of the website design, I could give them a call, and they would take care of it immediately. Telkoware’s key attributes were their quality of work and timely delivery, which is hard to find these days.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I think they already did an amazing job. I'm not sure how they can improve it even further.

I’d definitely highly recommend them to others looking for either any website design or graphic design services; if they’re looking for digital marketing to promote their business and get new leads, Telkoware is the right company to partner with.

Telkoware was hired to develop a cloud-based Telemedicine application. It allows our patients to receive medical care from the comfort of their home.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

A close friend highly recommended Telkoware. So we reached out and after initial discussion, we decided to trust Telkoware with such a complex project.

The scope was to develop an application, in which a doctor can communicate with his patient remotely face to face, prescribe medication, and follow up on any medical tests & book appointments. A very systematic release-based deployment schedule was followed, which allowed us to review and provide feedback on each new functionality deployed and observe results in next deployment.

6 team members were assigned to the project, but we mostly interacted with Project Director, who was extremely efficient and good communicator.

There was a lot of positive feedback from the users after the app went LIVE.
