I’m a former department head for an Information and communications technology (ICT) provider.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Evergo Partners?

We ran a major transformation program and hired Evergo Partners to help us.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Evergo Partners provides me with IT consulting services. For our first project, they transitioned operations from offshore to nearshore locations. We ran a global implementation program of a service management framework, and the team was part of phases one and three. For phase one, their role was to move our in-shore organization from our supplier and build it up abroad. Their most critical part was to ensure the transfer was done properly. 

As for phase three, they read the service management framework based on a mobile phone manufacturer. They supported the program and rolled out the standard processes for IT engineering. Additionally, they produced training material for us. 

Since then, Evergo Partners has collaborated with me on different projects for other companies, and we still work together. They’ve done integration of core enterprise platforms. Currently, they provide me with advisory services for driving specific strategic initiatives. 

What is the team composition?

I’ve worked with several teammates from Evergo Partners over the years.

How did you come to work with Evergo Partners?

They were working in other areas of my company at the time, and I found them through a recommendation. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in December 2011. Although I’ve left the company, my relationship with Evergo Partners has continued with other employers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

For our first project, our measure of success was that Evergo Partners did the training in time. They finished on time and were able to meet the deadline to go live. Although there were hiccups here and there, they delivered on their commitment, which is how we evaluated the overall program.

How did Evergo Partners perform from a project management standpoint?

They deliver on time and within the budget and are honest and transparent. Whenever there are budgets or expectations they can’t meet, we discuss how to best approach the issue. Initially, we communicated through Skype. Now, we’ve moved to Microsoft Teams. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m impressed with Evergo Partners’ level of expertise in any area they venture into. If there are areas where they have gaps, they go above and beyond to get an understanding and then very quickly ramp up their knowledge. The team isn’t afraid of taking on challenges and is always solution-oriented.

Are there any areas they could improve?

None.
