We hired Testing4Success to test our web3 application which involved connecting a web3 wallet to create or authenticate your account and making purchases with your web3 wallet from our NFT marketplace.

We interviewed a number of platform and vendors. In the end, we decided to go with Testing4Success because they were a small nimble team that could get up and running within our organization with little to no effort.

After we decided to go with Testing4Success, we met with them to give them a demo of our application. From there, they helped us to develop and refine our test cases, identify testing browsers and devices, and set up a bug tracking system. Once we had those pieces in place, the team went to work testing our application across a number of browsers, devices, and wallets. They helped identify some key issues and clearly documented the steps to reproduce the errors. As the bugs started coming in our team got to work on making fixes. Then when Testing4Success completed their initial review, we updated our QA testing environment and had them take another pass through repeating the process over again.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The team saved us a ton of time scaling our testing efforts across a range of browsers and devices. Having their help meant we could focus on fixing the issues rather than testing issues in multiple browsers and devices. The team helped identify a number of issues that would have otherwise gone unnoticed.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The team communicated very effectively and clearly. We had a shared Slack channel where we could chat in real time which made things operate very smoothly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was surprised how smoothly everything went. It was really easy getting things up and running with the team.

Nothing comes to mind.

Fast, efficient, and with great communication. I can't see how it could have gone any easier :)

Very simple and efficient. As we only needed to communicate with the Head of QA, communication was easy. Their team worked quickly, and their documentation was thorough.

Peace-of-mind, with ease of communication. Very little was required on my end to gain such value.

Our goals for Testing4Success was to thoroughly test all features through a manual process.

Testing4Success was highly recommended to us through InputLogic, our iOS development contractor.

I was the technical development manager responsible for coordinating the development of the app with our contractor as well as ensuring the quality of releases delivered. The team used multiple mobile devices and found many critical issues which needed to be resolved.

In general, they followed a written QA test plan, but went above and beyond to cover use cases and edge cases which were not yet defined. During sprints, the team would provide QA for tickets developed during that sprint.

What was the team composition?

We employed 1 to 2 Testing4Success engineers during this time frame.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Testing4Success found important issues which if we had deployed without finding these issues, it would have impacted our member's experience. As a result, our iOS app received an initial 5 star review in the apple store.

We use Jira, so the Testing4Success team acted upon tickets once moved to the QA status. They entered Jira bugs for issues found. I communicated with Jon via email and comments on tickets.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The attention to detail which Testing4Success exhibited was awesome. They went above and beyond to test edge cases and use cases which we had not thought of.

There are no areas of improvement that I can thing of at this time.

I am the Lead Quality Assurance Engineer for the software development team at Dosh. Dosh builds a consumer facing mobile app that helps connect merchants with customers.

Testing4Success was hired to assist the Dosh engineering team with test case creation, manually testing new software features, regression testing, and developing automated test suites.

The development of the Dosh app is an ongoing project. The main goal of the project is to build scale by increasing the number of merchants and users on the platform. More specific to the expectations of Testing4Success, they play a vital role in helping Dosh achieve a high-quality experience for users.

Dosh builds a consumer facing mobile app that helps connect merchants with customers. The development cadence runs on two-week sprints in which Testing4Success was integral in authoring new test cases, verifying new features, documenting defects, confirming the resolution of bugs, and regression testing.

What was the team composition?

The Testing4Sucess team comprised of three QA engineers that interacted directly with a Dosh QA lead as well as roughly 10 Dosh developers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

As mentioned previously, the Dosh project is ongoing but ultimately could be deemed an ongoing success. Testing4Success helped Dosh consistently release over 100 iOS and Android app versions and that number continues to grow. Out of those 100+ releases, there were no show-stopping bugs that made it into a production build that would have led to lost revenue for Dosh. Additionally, the Dosh project grew in scope as new products were developed. These include: many internal tools, a partner mobile SDK, a web SDK, and more. Testing4Success was always willing to take on additional testing responsibilities and brought the same level of dedication and quality to each product.

The workflow is extremely effective. Testing4Success engineers communicate clearly and are responsive during defined work hours. After priorities are defined, the team is self-sufficient and reliably completes tasks on schedule.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The dedication to quality, reliability of each team member, effectiveness of their work, and the ability to seek out solutions without the need of being explicitly directed is what I continually find impressive about Testing4Sucess. I am happy to work along side them
