Web & App Development & UI/UX Design for Energy Supplier
the project
''We're very satisfied with the design and the application, and it couldn’t be better.''

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the commercial director for an energy supplier.
What challenge were you trying to address with Imobisoft?
We needed help with web and app development for our internal use.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Imobisoft is doing web and app platforms for us; it's a software that aims to generate sales. The application is specifically developed for the iPad; however, the backend is Windows-based, making it accessible on a web browser. To jumpstart the project, we provided them with the overall specification and wireframes.
The software allows salespeople to knock on people’s doors, generate the sale, present a full pitch, do a full quote, sign someone up, pass the information back and forth seamlessly between the server, and send the data in real-time.
In addition to that, their team has also done the UI/UX design for us.
What is the team composition?
We mainly deal with their project manager, but there is a team of around six people in the background.
How did you come to work with Imobisoft?
They were recommended to us by someone in our business who said that they offered first-class service.
How much have you invested in them?
So far, we've spent around £500,000 (approximately 654,000 USD) with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in April 2016, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They've been able to sort out all of our problems through first-class service.
Without the software they created for us, we wouldn’t be generating sales. The application they have developed allows us to bring on a thousand new customers every week. Overall, we're very satisfied with the design and the application, and it couldn’t be better.
How did Imobisoft perform from a project management standpoint?
They've met all of our deadlines. In terms of communication, we typically use the phone, but we also have a ticketing system in Jira to pass tickets backward and forward.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Unlike other providers, they always pick up the phone and immediately solve all of our problems.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don't think there's anything they can improve on.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Pick up the phone and give them a call; they'll take care of you.

Customer facing pharmacy portal
Driving sales performance through customer engagement & data-derived insights
GSK’s B2B customers such as Tesco, Lloyds Pharmacy & Boots receive rebates on volume-related order metrics which feeds directly into their account management team. Our heritage in delivering healthcare applications meant we were a natural partner to replace an existing customer-facing web portal.
The portals integration with the existing systems was not optimised, meaning an inability to provide accurate sales information to both clients and management. We focused on enabling the monitoring and evaluation of these levels in real-time.
Additionally, user experience was sub-optimal with low levels of engagement from clients.
The brand and account management teams at GSK saw an opportunity to deliver a better customer experience, improve automation & reporting and gain an understanding of customer behaviour.
What did we do?
- Working with the commissioning team we designed a new User Interface (UI) to allow the customer to understand the product mix required to maximise their rebates and therefore increase total sales
- Collaborated closely with the GSK IS team to build bespoke API’s to their stringent requirements so that we could directly link to the correct database
- Enabled customers to log into the account and see via a dashboard whether quotas for rebates had been achieved
- Enabled account managers and SLT to have a holistic oversight of performance
- Through a cloud-based portal, we have created a centre point for all operational data to be collated, enabling automated data processing, otherwise known as Machine Learning

DYNAMIC end to end web application
Why were Imobisoft engaged?
E Energy receives a file from the regulator every two weeks with all the gas and electricity tariffs for competitors in the market. A relatively large administration team would then embark on decyphering the huge volume of data to help understand where E-Energy’s price sat in comparison to others in the marketplace to remain competitive.
Administration requirements were so large because the format of the file and the data within fields was not consistent. It had anomalies and variations from month to month and to be useful, the team had to cleanse the data, remove duplicates, correct formatting and then run manual scripts to check the data quality of the file. This process can take up to 3 working days, with significant senior resource also involved required.
What did we do?
We mapped out the irregularities of the model and identified that cleaning and reformating of the tariff file was essential automation. From this, we developed an automated machine learning model that enabled E-energy to understand the competitor market.
Our developers trained our model on existing data sets and now it removes the duplicates and fixes the values within the file and highlights any new anomalies in the data. The output file is 100% accurate and it only takes 55 seconds for the whole process from start to finish, providing significant resource and time efficiencies.
The outcome is an annual saving to the business of over £30,000 per annum and the ability to have senior staff focusing on value add tasks and not data processing.
By removing the cost of time spent on amending and fixing the file, it is estimated that we saved roughly 26hours of staff time per week, allowing the team to focus on other tasks.

Transforming patient care- IoT device & data-anal
Applying connected technology to medical devices to measure patient data with greater accuracy, whilst enabling instant reporting and use of ML as an indicator to potential patient issues
Why were Imobisoft engaged?
With more than 32,500 people in the UK believed to suffer from Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and with doctors warning about the dangers of this ‘’silent killer’’ lung condition, University Hospital North Midlands has sought for a way to better monitor the symptoms and offer patients new ways to deal with their condition.
Creating a solution required tapping into recent healthcare innovations, leading to the NHS commissioning the Imobisoft team, a long-term partner, to deliver the best software solution for both patients and NHS clinicians in regards to IPF.
What we did:
After defining the purpose of the application, the next step was to clearly identify the users and their roles within the system. This involved developing an electronic medical record for each patient using the system, allowing both patients and clinicians to keep track of the patient’s IPF.
As such, the development focus on three core users – the patients who maintain their IPF records, the clinicians that use them to determine treatment, and the system administrators who handle the back-end of the application. To ensure full service to all three user types, Imobisoft created three unique dashboards, each of which is customized to suit the needs of the relevant user.

Babycheck app
The culmination of a four-year project focused on analysing the symptoms of illness in 1,000 babies below the age of six months, the Lullaby Baby Trust Check studied 700 babies in the hospital, in addition to 300 babies living healthily at home, to identify symptom trends and the path beyond this.
Working between the charity partner Lullaby Trust and the NHS Birmingham Trust, Imobisoft was engaged as the technology partner to realise the 4-year long research piece’s findings to a mobile application.

Enabling better care delivery and reducing administrative burden
“Develop an end-to-end solution for Occupational Therapists working for the Disability Living Foundation to enable them to deliver better care and reduce administrative burden”
Disability Living Foundation provides training and materials for occupational therapists across the UK. The traditional approach in the OT (Occupational Therapy) sector involves producing a printed plan for each patient.
Recording patient wellbeing as well as tasks means that Occupational Therapists were using a significant amount of time on administration, creating huge inefficiencies.
Imobisoft were engaged as DLF recognised that technology could create internal inefficiencies whilst improving patient wellbeing.
What we did:
The drawbacks of a paper-based system were many, including time inefficiency, lack of flexibility when plans need updating, and the plans not being unique to each patient.
Imobisoft mapped out DLF’s internal requirements of OT’s and built a platform that was wrapped around daily challenges. This lived across the web and mobile applications – allowing the recording of day to day procedures, automating administrative burdens.
Core functionality:
Allowing OT’s to record patient procedures like bathing, feeding etc and set alerts (SMS/Push notifications) automatically in a back-end system
Creation of a PDF report for each handout such as bathing, sleeping etc.
Each patient has a unique handout and timings
Ensured the app was user-friendly with a user guide easily digested by 1000’s of OTs across the country
Secure login and secure storing of patient information

Delivering a better customer experience and automating the sales process
Delivering a better customer experience and automating the sales process
Imobisoft was asked to develop a mobile application to allow customers of NGN to apply for a new connection/alteration.
The app needed to be user-friendly and allow users to enter data with minimum text input. All the data captured on the app was to be stored and sent via email. The app provides an instant quote based on the data provided by the user and also displays the status of their application so that users can keep track of it.
Imobisoft used intelligent data capture methods to enhance the user experience and made the whole process time-efficient and simple. The app allows users to make multiple connection applications.
Overview of the NGN app functionality:
- App will allow the user to make multiple connection applications
- On first launch, the user will enter basic details ( name, email and phone number)
- The user will be provided with mandatory fields only so as to make the data input convenient.
- The app will allow the user to take up to five photos of the property at a specific location to help assess the application.
- The user will be able to record an audio description for each application.
- The app will fetch the user location if allowed.
- Once the application is complete, the user will be provided with a fixed price quote and a reference number which they can use at the time of the payment.
- All the data captured for each application will be stored locally on the phone and also sent to Client Admin. The application process will be segmented so that the user can pause and come back at a later time to finish the application.
- Before submitting the application the user will be able to edit any data they have entered.

Creation of a custom sales management platform
Development of a proprietary sales management platform to transform Hi-force's sales engagement processes.
Current systems in use by Hi-force is a platform based SaaS model; a relatively expensive solution with some features that help Hi-force, yet lacking bespoke functionality wrapped around niche internal processes.
Recognising a custom software application that introduced sales automation to their internal processes would firstly be commercially beneficial vs their incumbent SaaS system, whilst also make use of bespoke design & integration to transform internal processes, meant clear business outcomes were expected from this build.
What we did?
Stakeholder engagement, user journey planning, systems mapping & functionality definition saw the planning close.
A clear development & project path was defined and Imobisofts delivery team completed the build in under 8 weeks, as per Hi-force's desire to implement ahead of the renewal of their incumbent.

Web Development for IT Services Company
''The quality of their work is great.''
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m an executive at an IT services company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Imobisoft?
We had a CMS with some bugs and tech challenges we wanted to fix before launching it live.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Imobisoft provides web development services; our CMS was 80% done, and they've built the additional 20% and fixed many bugs for us.
In terms of features, the platform focuses on museums; it has images of old vases, paintings, and books, among other products. It also has an API that plugs into a WordPress website so that people can come to the website, search for something interesting to them, and then fetch back the data from our database in our CMS. Currently, we have them on a monthly retainer for maintenance.
Regarding technologies, the site is built in Django, WordPress, and an API between the two. In addition, all the images are hosted on Digital Ocean as a storage area.
What is the team composition?
We mainly work with two Imobisoft team members, including their tech head and a developer.
How did you come to work with Imobisoft?
Someone who had worked with them in the past referred them to me. After I met them, they seemed like a good fit, and their team was keen to work with us, so we chose them for this project.
How much have you invested with them?
So far, we've spent around £30,000 (approximately $37,000 USD) with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in June 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Imobisoft has fixed all of our bugs to get our site live; we keep adding more tasks for them to complete, and they do hard work addressing them. Overall, the quality of their work is great.
How did Imobisoft perform from a project management standpoint?
We use Trello as the main project management tool and feel we're getting what we're paying for.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We're only paying for three days per month, so we feel we can't ask for too much. Nonetheless, knowing when they would work on tasks for us ahead of time could be nice. It'd also be good to have feedback on what we've achieved or what challenges they have been working on. Additionally, communication with them is slow because we're a small project, and they're busy with other things, so it's difficult to get their attention sometimes.

AWS Cloud Migration for FinTech Integrations Company
“They were transparent all the way through to delivery.”

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of Y&H Digital Solutions, a limited company that deals with FinTech integrations, whereby we do digitized onboarding journeys for our customers.
What challenge were you trying to address with Imobisoft?
Our goal was to complete an AWS migration in a three-month period.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Imobisoft helped us with AWS cloud migration. Initially, we did a handover of requirements with workshops. We provided them with what we had already built and the specifications of what the product needed to do in the cloud. The team mainly helped us with the migration onto the cloud, which included setting up a base for the end customer and making sure it went live within three months. They also dealt with security in the cloud, which needed to be very strong.
Additionally, they advised us about which subscriptions we needed for the different services AWS provides and then set them up. They provided onsite and onsite support, though they did most of the work remotely.
What is the team composition?
We worked with a solutions architect, a project manager, a business analyst, and two cloud administrators.
How did you come to work with Imobisoft?
A colleague from a previous company recommended Imobisoft. I researched their expertise and found they had a specialty in dealing with cloud technology. Although we considered two other companies, Imobisoft’s rates were competitive and reasonable, so we decided to hire them.
How much have you invested in them?
The budget was around £90,000 (approximately $112,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
This project lasted from February–May 2021. We still cooperate with their team on other projects.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We wanted a highly available system, which is what we got. Another goal was to ensure that maintenance during the migration tool's downtime wasn't long, and Imobisoft also achieved that.
How did Imobisoft perform from a project management standpoint?
They worked in an Agile methodology in an iterative process. We had daily stand-up meetings and communicated through several channels, such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, and email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Imobisoft was highly technical — they knew their stuff. Moreover, they were transparent all the way through to delivery. Their communication was also good, and their cost was reasonable.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could have brought more tooling into their process to ensure we were aware of what was happening at various stages. Although they presented their progress in meetings, we would have preferred to have more visibility through tools.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I consider Imobisoft one of the best providers. I recommend them to anyone who needs to migrate their data to the cloud, work on the front- and backend, or maintenance on their systems.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and CEO of Valiant & Company, a global business services company. We operate in the B2B domain, and our core business is the organization of tradeshows, conferences, and other similar events.
What challenge were you trying to address with Imobisoft?
Our company also works in the technology space. For this project, we needed help with one of our global online platforms focused on discovering and booking global business events, so we hired Imobisoft.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Imobisoft worked with us to help us build our global event booking and discovery platform, taking care of the design and development side of the project. Their team developed the entire platform for us, and they collaborated with our in-house team to create its designs. We originally started developing this platform internally, so Imobisoft basically came in and took over what we had already done to take it to the finish line.
It is a good standard product for B2B events globally. One of its key features is the discovery of events anywhere in the world. Thanks to this feature, users can find out about these events and contact the organizer to request further information. People can also book their next event and promote their services on the platform.
What is the team composition?
We worked directly with two people in management roles from Imobisoft. Another person from their team worked on the development side of the project.
How did you come to work with Imobisoft?
We’re based in Birmingham, UK, and Imobisoft has an office in the same building we’re based at. Still, I actually came to know about them through a referral. Their price was very competitive, which we found attractive.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together in December 2018, and the project was completed in June 2019. Once fully launched, we took over the product.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Imobisoft’s team did their best to deliver a great product. It was a very challenging project for them because they didn’t do everything from scratch. We had started developing this product ourselves, but we lacked proper documentation to help them understand the product and take it from there. Still, they managed to understand our requirements and work accordingly.
How did Imobisoft perform from a project management standpoint?
Imobisoft collaborated with us continuously throughout the project, so the main challenge was on our side; we had no experience working with IT teams. Still, we were constantly aware of Imobisoft’s outputs, and they did their best to meet our deadlines.
Imobisoft’s project manager was very accessible, even outside of working hours. Although we found bugs caused by the different development teams involved, our priorities focused on taking the product to the level we needed it to be, so Imobisoft performed well overall.
Moreover, Imobisoft’s prices were very competitive. The product would have cost us a lot more if we had hired people internally to work on its design and development. As for collaboration tools, we used Asana.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Imobisoft’s strengths were their cost and flexibility.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We needed improvements from both sides. My project was a bit different than others, and we didn’t have a plan on our end. Still, Imobisoft managed to take it over to the best of their abilities. If we had had a plan in place, they would have definitely executed it better than they did. Overall, they worked well and did what we needed them to do.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Have a clear plan that details your objectives and deadlines. Imobisoft is very flexible, so they’ll deliver a cost-effective solution.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of Astwood Design, a creative agency based in the UK.
What challenge were you trying to address with Imobisoft?
We hired Imobisoft to support our development team in building websites.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We provide web development services to our clients, but whenever we get required to build more specialized websites, we rely on Imobisoft’s expertise. We usually design and build simple websites with Shopify add-ons or not-too-complex e-commerce sites. However, Imobisoft supports our team when the projects get more complex, driving those projects from the beginning to the end very quickly.
For every project, we first give them a quick brief. Then, they join me for an initial scoping meeting with the client, during which we scope the project and ask the necessary technical questions. Once we provide a joint proposal to the client and they accept it, we provide Imobisoft with the frontend design and creative work, and they develop the website.
Among the projects that Imobisoft has helped us with are a full e-commerce website and a website that integrates with the client’s CRM and mobile app. Overall, they’re in charge of the highly technical work related to technologies such as Drupal, Julia, and other open-source technologies. Additionally, they support us with high-level design when needed.
What is the team composition?
I work with three people from Imobisoft, all of them part of their leadership.
How did you come to work with Imobisoft?
I met two of Imobisoft’s directors through our social circles. We were once in a networking scenario, and we talked about what we did. I was very interested in what they did, especially because they were a relatively new startup organization back then. We had a few discussions about collaborating, and when the first opportunity came, we started working together. From there, more opportunities arose, and they demonstrated to be a very skilled development team, so we continued working together. To this day, our partnership is ongoing.
How much have you invested with them?
We spend around £5,000–£10,000 (approximately $6,300–$12,600 USD) per project.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in 2010, and we worked on numerous projects throughout that decade.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Imobisoft has become a key partner for what we do, and our collaboration has been very successful for over a decade. We measure success based on our clients’ happiness — that’s our main concern. Every website they’ve delivered has worked well. However, as the end client manages the website after we deliver, we don’t know about their current performance metrics.
Furthermore, Imobisoft’s quality work has attracted more clients as a result. Some people who have seen our client’s sites have become referrals because our clients refer them to us after they like our work, which is a success metric by itself.
How did Imobisoft perform from a project management standpoint?
Imobisoft’s project management has been excellent. I can rely on them to join our meetings, ask the right questions, and professionally handle complex technologies. Additionally, they’re trustworthy, transparent, honest, and ethical. Overall, they’re a pleasure to work with. We use Basecamp to manage projects, and we communicate via emails, Microsoft Teams, and telephone.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Imobisoft has an impressive commitment to delivering tasks properly; they always get very involved in what the clients need. Additionally, they excel at recommending new technologies for future projects with our clients.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No. We’re very satisfied with their services. Of course, we’ve encountered hiccups during our multiple projects, but human errors always happen, and Imobisoft always rectifies what they need to rectify.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Get them involved at the earliest stages of your development project. They’re very transparent, honest, and ethical, so you don’t have to worry about sharing information with them; they’ll do their work on your behalf in a trustworthy manner.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m an executive at Cathedral Property Management Services, a real estate company. We sell properties and provide properties for rental, including commercial parcels.
What challenge were you trying to address with Imobisoft?
We had a website, but it didn’t provide anything for our internal support around the management of tenancies. There’s a lot of paperwork that goes into our business. Overall, our systems were relatively manual, and we were looking to take those processes and digitalize them.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Imobosoft did our custom software development. It’s a web portal built on WordPress. They also did all of the UI/UX for the software.
In terms of processes, there were several sessions where they laid out what the workflow was, and we’d make any needed corrections. After that, they created the frontend feel, which allowed us to put our print on it so that it had our branding.
What is the team composition?
We worked with 4–5 members of their team, including their CTO, the project manager, and the designers. There was also one session with their tech lead, who walked us through the process.
How did you come to work with Imobisoft?
They were a recommendation from somebody who had worked with us previously. We did our research to make sure they were a good fit. They had done similar projects to ours. I was quite comfortable the first time I met them. I felt they were able to do the job.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $70,000 with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from October 2021–January 2022.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They did a good job for us. Our ability to deal with queries is significantly faster; the turnaround time before was two days, and now it’s 15–20 minutes. When someone calls, it’s on the system and will state that the repair is happening at this point or the supplier is waiting for some parts to come in, etc. — it’s much better for us, and the tenants see that as well.
The other side is on the contract maintenance and the safety maintenance side. We’d have a big review meeting at the beginning of a month where we’d sit down and go through all the properties that needed repair to schedule those in for the month. Now we have an alert system that tells us when the certificates for this property will expire. It even brings up which supplier we used previously to do that, and we don’t have to go and look for it — the efficiencies are there.
We’ve also had new people come on board, and training them is easier. Before, we’d sit down and go through all the different pieces of paper. Now we walk them through the system because it defines our processes. We can see all the signed contracts, the contracts out for approval, the vendors we work with, etc. It used to take a couple of days to onboard staff. When they start with us, the morning session is the full onboarding, increasing our professionalism because people see it as having everything under control.
Overall, the system has made our jobs more efficient.
How did Imobisoft perform from a project management standpoint?
We had weekly standups; I didn’t always attend them, but somebody on my team always did, which was useful. We’d also get email notifications, and they’d introduce us to their Jira board; those were great because it was nice to know that we could log in and see things we wanted to. The weekly call was also effective for us; sometimes, it was only a five-minute call because nothing had changed.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They made the technology part of it almost secondary to the fact that they were building something that made our business better. That was useful because it was much more about us as a business, which came across from day one.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don't think there's anything they can improve on; we’re happy with them because they make everything easy, don’t drown us in technical data, and are experts on what they do.

Mobile App Development for Health Care Provider
"They meet our expectations and are professional."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the managing director at Icare Coventry, a care service provider.
What challenge were you trying to address with Imobisoft?
We needed someone to build our mobile app. There was a huge gap in the care industry market regarding how patients and care providers interacted. We tried to bridge that gap.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Imobisoft has developed our mobile app from scratch. It’s available for iOS and Android. The app is for our internal use, but we plan to license it at some point. We’d like to add more features to make it white-label and sell it to other service providers. It’s a long-term project, and they maintain and manage it.
The app allows doing a personalized review from the patient to the caregiver. They can put a review and give suggestions if they’re happy with a particular caregiver. Another app feature is a timesheet for the employees. They can log in their time, and it goes to HR right away. Payroll is also connected with the app. Additionally, some prompts in the app ask patients if anything could be better or they’d like to receive care for something else. It’s all done in real-time, so it keeps us on our toes.
How did you come to work with Imobisoft?
We posted an RFP on a government portal tender, and 3–4 companies approached us for our project. Our parameters were quite strict in terms of criteria, so Imobisoft deserved it.
We found them in a Google search. We contacted them, and surprisingly, they were only five miles away from where we were based. The first thing that attracted us was the location. Also, they were lovely people. It’s difficult to get people who are lovely and highly specialized in their field.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent £70,000 (approximately $95,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in January 2021, and our relationship is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
There hasn’t been an official launch date because we’ve been using it for the last 3–4 months as a part of a soft launch. Initially, there were some bugs and crashes, but it was resolved in a very timely manner. Now, the app is efficient and in real-time.
On the other hand, the app’s acceptance isn’t what we would’ve wanted. Some patients are old and vulnerable, and some of them tend to get angry or annoyed. Nonetheless, the majority of patients love the app.
How did Imobisoft perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management is good, and they’re highly professional and committed. Imobisoft is in real-time contact with us. If there are any problems, we’re the first ones to know.
Also, they haven’t charged us anything that wasn’t agreed upon. They didn’t even charge us for the changes we asked for. Our IT manager wasn’t happy with certain things, and the team took care of it.
For project management and communication, our IT manager gave them access to Jira.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re very likable and lovely people. Overall, they meet our expectations and are professional.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They don’t need to improve anything. They tick all the boxes.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I’ve already recommended a couple of clients to them.

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the CEO of a civic engagement platform.
What challenge were you trying to address with Imobisoft?
I was looking for help building a new website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Imobisoft developed our website, which offers politicians in the UK a chance to communicate directly with their electors. Their team designed the site based on pictures I drew of what I envisaged the website to look like. They created digital versions of m drawings and, upon getting my approval, designed the platform.
What is the team composition?
I had one main point of contact at Imobisoft.
How did you come to work with Imobisoft?
I spoke with three website developers before settling on Imobisoft. I got along well with the people on their team from the get-go.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested about £13,000 (approximately $17,700).
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement ran from April–November 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I like the layout of the site. There are one or two functionality issues, which I’m sure are going to be ironed out soon.
How did Imobisoft perform from a project management standpoint?
They had average project management skills. Our teams communicated via email and video calls.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I let them take their time, and they produced a quality product.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They were quite slow at building the website. The quote they gave me said it would be ready in August, although they did say that was an estimate and it could take longer.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be specific in what you want. Be firm if you have things you definitely want to be included.

We are one of the oldest healthcare associations in the UK representing the healthcare and assistive technology industry. Our members commit to our Code of Practice, the only one in the industry to be approved by The Chartered Trading Standards Institute – make or sell healthcare and assistive technology products that help people live more independently.
Steve Perry - Marketing & Communications Manager.
For what projects/services did your company hire Imobisoft?
Design and construction of our new website.
What were your goals for this project?
We started a fresh rather than modifying previous editions of our website to enable us to incorporate new features and services.
How did you select Imobisoft?
We had an existing relationship with Imobisoft for the last 4 years.
Describe the project in detail.
The website required to have resource elements as we provide a wide range of information to our members. We decided to create a product and member search for consumers and healthcare professionals to allow these groups to utilize our web content and direct traffic to our members, and generate inquiries. Totally refresh the design from a blank piece of paper.
What was the team composition?
Myself and digital marketing team.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We completed the project and met all the outcomes we planned. The new member sections have increased the interactions with our members and they now send us updates for their profiles.
With Covid-19 we lost all our trade shows which prevented the normal face-to-face promotional activities, but we switched to social media channels to raise the profile. In 2021 if the trade show programs return this work will be continued.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We have always had good communications with the team, and if there was ever anything that appeared to be lost in translation we would organize skype calls to talk through, which always worked and progressed the project.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The team is friendly and doesn't suffer from a large corporate feel. It's a personalized service and that's why we have been with them for four years. You buy from people.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Not that I can think of. Anything that we needed changing happened during the normal process of the design, so there was never any part of the process that became an issue or dispute.
The client is delighted with Imobisoft's first-class service and how the product they developed allows them to bring new customers daily. Their ability to meet deadlines is key to a solid project management experience. The team also praises their approach to solving their issues quickly.
