Enabling better care delivery and reducing administrative burden
“Develop an end-to-end solution for Occupational Therapists working for the Disability Living Foundation to enable them to deliver better care and reduce administrative burden”
Disability Living Foundation provides training and materials for occupational therapists across the UK. The traditional approach in the OT (Occupational Therapy) sector involves producing a printed plan for each patient.
Recording patient wellbeing as well as tasks means that Occupational Therapists were using a significant amount of time on administration, creating huge inefficiencies.
Imobisoft were engaged as DLF recognised that technology could create internal inefficiencies whilst improving patient wellbeing.
What we did:
The drawbacks of a paper-based system were many, including time inefficiency, lack of flexibility when plans need updating, and the plans not being unique to each patient.
Imobisoft mapped out DLF’s internal requirements of OT’s and built a platform that was wrapped around daily challenges. This lived across the web and mobile applications – allowing the recording of day to day procedures, automating administrative burdens.
Core functionality:
Allowing OT’s to record patient procedures like bathing, feeding etc and set alerts (SMS/Push notifications) automatically in a back-end system
Creation of a PDF report for each handout such as bathing, sleeping etc.
Each patient has a unique handout and timings
Ensured the app was user-friendly with a user guide easily digested by 1000’s of OTs across the country
Secure login and secure storing of patient information

We need to apply automation to our pricing strategy to enable us to respond quickly without using high levels of internal resource
Why were Imobisoft engaged?
E Energy receives a file from the regulator every two weeks with all the gas and electricity tariffs for competitors in the market. A relatively large administration team would then embark on decyphering the huge volume of data to help understand where E-Energy’s price sat in comparison to others in the marketplace to remain competitive.
Administration requirements were so large because the format of the file and the data within fields was not consistent. It had anomalies and variations from month to month and to be useful, the team had to cleanse the data, remove duplicates, correct formatting and then run manual scripts to check the data quality of the file. This process can take up to 3 working days, with significant senior resource also involved required.
What did we do?
We mapped out the irregularities of the model and identified that cleaning and reformating of the tariff file was essential automation. From this, we developed an automated machine learning model that enabled E-energy to understand the competitor market.
Our developers trained our model on existing data sets and now it removes the duplicates and fixes the values within the file and highlights any new anomalies in the data. The output file is 100% accurate and it only takes 55 seconds for the whole process from start to finish, providing significant resource and time efficiencies.
The outcome is an annual saving to the business of over £30,000 per annum and the ability to have senior staff focusing on value add tasks and not data processing.
By removing the cost of time spent on amending and fixing the file, it is estimated that we saved roughly 26hours of staff time per week, allowing the team to focus on other tasks.

Delivering a better customer experience and automating the sales process
Delivering a better customer experience and automating the sales process
Imobisoft was asked to develop a mobile application to allow customers of NGN to apply for a new connection/alteration.
The app needed to be user-friendly and allow users to enter data with minimum text input. All the data captured on the app was to be stored and sent via email. The app provides an instant quote based on the data provided by the user and also displays the status of their application so that users can keep track of it.
Imobisoft used intelligent data capture methods to enhance the user experience and made the whole process time-efficient and simple. The app allows users to make multiple connection applications.
Overview of the NGN app functionality:
- App will allow the user to make multiple connection applications
- On first launch, the user will enter basic details ( name, email and phone number)
- The user will be provided with mandatory fields only so as to make the data input convenient.
- The app will allow the user to take up to five photos of the property at a specific location to help assess the application.
- The user will be able to record an audio description for each application.
- The app will fetch the user location if allowed.
- Once the application is complete, the user will be provided with a fixed price quote and a reference number which they can use at the time of the payment.
- All the data captured for each application will be stored locally on the phone and also sent to Client Admin. The application process will be segmented so that the user can pause and come back at a later time to finish the application.
- Before submitting the application the user will be able to edit any data they have entered.

Creation of a custom sales management platform
Development of a proprietary sales management platform to transform Hi-force's sales engagement processes.
Current systems in use by Hi-force is a platform based SaaS model; a relatively expensive solution with some features that help Hi-force, yet lacking bespoke functionality wrapped around niche internal processes.
Recognising a custom software application that introduced sales automation to their internal processes would firstly be commercially beneficial vs their incumbent SaaS system, whilst also make use of bespoke design & integration to transform internal processes, meant clear business outcomes were expected from this build.
What we did?
Stakeholder engagement, user journey planning, systems mapping & functionality definition saw the planning close.
A clear development & project path was defined and Imobisofts delivery team completed the build in under 8 weeks, as per Hi-force's desire to implement ahead of the renewal of their incumbent.

Transforming patient care through IoT devices & data-analytics
Applying connected technology to medical devices to measure patient data with greater accuracy, whilst enabling instant reporting and use of ML as an indicator to potential patient issues
Why were Imobisoft engaged?
With more than 32,500 people in the UK believed to suffer from Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and with doctors warning about the dangers of this ‘’silent killer’’ lung condition, University Hospital North Midlands has sought for a way to better monitor the symptoms and offer patients new ways to deal with their condition.
Creating a solution required tapping into recent healthcare innovations, leading to the NHS commissioning the Imobisoft team, a long-term partner, to deliver the best software solution for both patients and NHS clinicians in regards to IPF.
What we did:
After defining the purpose of the application, the next step was to clearly identify the users and their roles within the system. This involved developing an electronic medical record for each patient using the system, allowing both patients and clinicians to keep track of the patient’s IPF.
As such, the development focus on three core users – the patients who maintain their IPF records, the clinicians that use them to determine treatment, and the system administrators who handle the back-end of the application. To ensure full service to all three user types, Imobisoft created three unique dashboards, each of which is customized to suit the needs of the relevant user.

Customer facing pharmacy portal
GSK’s B2B customers such as Tesco, Lloyds Pharmacy & Boots receive rebates on volume-related order metrics which feeds directly into their account management team. Our heritage in delivering healthcare applications meant we were a natural partner to replace an existing customer-facing web portal.
The portals integration with the existing systems was not optimised, meaning an inability to provide accurate sales information to both clients and management. We focused on enabling the monitoring and evaluation of these levels in real-time.
Additionally, user experience was sub-optimal with low levels of engagement from clients.
The brand and account management teams at GSK saw an opportunity to deliver a better customer experience, improve automation & reporting and gain an understanding of customer behaviour.
What did we do?
- Working with the commissioning team we designed a new User Interface (UI) to allow the customer to understand the product mix required to maximise their rebates and therefore increase total sales
- Collaborated closely with the GSK IS team to build bespoke API’s to their stringent requirements so that we could directly link to the correct database
- Enabled customers to log into the account and see via a dashboard whether quotas for rebates had been achieved
- Enabled account managers and SLT to have a holistic oversight of performance
- Through a cloud-based portal, we have created a centre point for all operational data to be collated, enabling automated data processing, otherwise known as Machine Learning

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the CEO of a civic engagement platform.
What challenge were you trying to address with Imobisoft?
I was looking for help building a new website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Imobisoft developed our website, which offers politicians in the UK a chance to communicate directly with their electors. Their team designed the site based on pictures I drew of what I envisaged the website to look like. They created digital versions of m drawings and, upon getting my approval, designed the platform.
What is the team composition?
I had one main point of contact at Imobisoft.
How did you come to work with Imobisoft?
I spoke with three website developers before settling on Imobisoft. I got along well with the people on their team from the get-go.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested about £13,000 (approximately $17,700).
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement ran from April–November 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I like the layout of the site. There are one or two functionality issues, which I’m sure are going to be ironed out soon.
How did Imobisoft perform from a project management standpoint?
They had average project management skills. Our teams communicated via email and video calls.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I let them take their time, and they produced a quality product.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They were quite slow at building the website. The quote they gave me said it would be ready in August, although they did say that was an estimate and it could take longer.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be specific in what you want. Be firm if you have things you definitely want to be included.

Steve Perry - Marketing & Communications Manager.
For what projects/services did your company hire Imobisoft?
Design and construction of our new website.
What were your goals for this project?
We started a fresh rather than modifying previous editions of our website to enable us to incorporate new features and services.
How did you select Imobisoft?
We had an existing relationship with Imobisoft for the last 4 years.
Describe the project in detail.
The website required to have resource elements as we provide a wide range of information to our members. We decided to create a product and member search for consumers and healthcare professionals to allow these groups to utilize our web content and direct traffic to our members, and generate inquiries. Totally refresh the design from a blank piece of paper.
What was the team composition?
Myself and digital marketing team.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We completed the project and met all the outcomes we planned. The new member sections have increased the interactions with our members and they now send us updates for their profiles.
With Covid-19 we lost all our trade shows which prevented the normal face-to-face promotional activities, but we switched to social media channels to raise the profile. In 2021 if the trade show programs return this work will be continued.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We have always had good communications with the team, and if there was ever anything that appeared to be lost in translation we would organize skype calls to talk through, which always worked and progressed the project.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The team is friendly and doesn't suffer from a large corporate feel. It's a personalized service and that's why we have been with them for four years. You buy from people.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Not that I can think of. Anything that we needed changing happened during the normal process of the design, so there was never any part of the process that became an issue or dispute.

"They’ll find a solution if you’re stuck."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of a software startup. I created a mobile application to send gifts internationally. It’s a gifting system where you can send a credit instead of a gift and the person redeems the credit for something they want. It’s a gifting software application.
What challenge were you trying to address with Imobisoft?
I needed someone to help develop my mobile application.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They developed the front- and backend of the mobile app. They used three different coding languages. It was built from scratch for iOS and Android. There are promotion pages, maps, GPS payment methods, and a wallet on the backed.
There are several different layers to the app. You have the main admin, agents under the admin, and under the agents are the merchants.
What is the team composition?
We worked with 4-6 people, including a project manager, coders, and an admin.
How did you come to work with Imobisoft?
I found them in a Google search.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent between $100,000–$120,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from April 2015–October 2018.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They did their job 100%. I tested the application.
How did Imobisoft perform from a project management standpoint?
They were on time. There was rarely a delay because of them. Project management went well overall.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’ll find a solution if you’re stuck. They’ll find a way to make something possible. Budget-wise, they’re also more affordable than other companies.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Initially, I didn’t like the frontend design they provided. I had to tell them exactly what I was looking for and they adjusted it to make it the way I wanted it to look.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Make sure you have a full plan before you get started with them.

Custom Web & App Dev for Higher Education Institution
"Imobisoft was open to trying a different problem but would still say if they can’t work on a particular project."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I was the former business development manager for one of the digital institutes at Coventry University Enterprises.
What challenge were you trying to address with Imobisoft?
At that time, we were looking for a team to help us with custom software development. A common example is when a customer wanted to put together a software platform with a mobile front end and it required bespoke software development.
They were dealing with a set of data that was difficult to access or had other specific requirements that meant that we couldn’t use an off the shelf solution or even an existing architecture, so we usually turned to Imobisoft for that support.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Imobisoft provided us with various services. Their team delivered mobile application software development on iOS and Android. They produced a web-based mobile application where the solution required is to be platform agnostic.
Imobisoft also created solutions that were browser-based and backend server-based development for us. They created bespoke solutions for us and custom developments. Their team also produced assets and design work for us, too.
The team was good at creating software applications and helped us find solutions. Our engagement was more of a collaborative project because we would often work on the solutions together. Imobisoft became our technical partner then whenever we had projects that needed their in-depth expertise.
What is the team composition?
We worked with two people from Imobisoft. A team member that handled business-related concerns and the other one focused on technical works.
How did you come to work with Imobisoft?
We knew them because they were a tenant on the campus’ technology park. We met them through networking events that were attended by a cluster of companies.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $50,000–$100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together between 2015–2018.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The outputs delivered by Imobisoft received positive feedback. The relationships they built when delivering these projects were always great. They were great to work with, productive, and everything was delivered as promised.
How did Imobisoft perform from a project management standpoint?
The team was great to work with and the projects were delivered on time. There weren't any issues from a project management standpoint from them. We structured the engagement in a way that made it clear how we would manage the progress and track each milestone.
It was great to bounce ideas on particular problems with the team. There wasn’t anything off the table when achieving a target. They always found a way to tackle a problem or to reach our goal.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Imobisoft was agile, adaptive, and open to discuss issues. They were great problem solvers who could tackle a situation, give feedback, and advise us. Unlike other technology companies who offer a narrow scope of service, Imobisoft was open to trying a different problem but would still say if they couldn't work on a particular project.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We think they could market their company even more. They’re always busy delivering projects but they should work on promoting themselves and look for more exposure.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Think ahead on the particular projects that you’re working on. Plan for a longer-term relationship with them instead of brief projects. This is important because it would not only allow you to save money, but also sparing you from reworking or changing directions.
