They don’t just deliver cookie-cutter training; they take the time to understand our needs and build custom sessions (2 per year) that are not only relevant today but will also serve as a long-term resource for staff onboarding. We receive a monthly training calendar via email at the beginning of each month and then weekly reminders for the upcoming session that week. Every training session is delivered on time, and it's live and interactive to give us the opportunity to ask questions and really learn hands-on. They’re also proactive in updating content to keep up with evolving technology (like using AI tools) and cybersecurity threats. Their responsiveness and commitment to making sure our team truly benefits from the training set them apart.

5.0 Oct 5, 2020Our system went down suddenly three years ago. In the dead of winter. XL.net sent someone to check everything out, and he found that the backplane connector had failed. He contacted someone from Dell, who offered to overnight us a new one. They sent the part the next day, and XL.net sent their tech guy out to do the installation. While they were taking our server apart, we got hit with a blizzard, and their tech guy got trapped here overnight. He worked all night, till about one or two in the morning, when we took him to a hotel to get some sleep. We picked him up the next morning and brought him back to get our server up. Our server was back up and running by the time they were plowing the snow the next day, and businesses were starting to reopen. I don’t know how many companies would’ve done that.

5.0 Oct 5, 2020The bottom line is that we’re able to be productive because our IT systems work. IT is a significant portion of our work, and we can’t serve customers if systems are down. While I don’t have hard metrics, I can count on one hand the times things took longer than what I felt was reasonable. I’m not an IT guy, so maybe those times were reasonable as well. They consistently provide quick solutions when we experience a problem. XL.net has been there for me time and time again over the last 10 years.

5.0 Oct 5, 2020For example, when they made the recommendation to move us to Office365, everyone was against it in the beginning, because we’d always had our Exchange server hosted 50 feet from everyone, where we could see it. To all of a sudden have this thing hidden somewhere out in North Dakota was unnerving. We were also worried about losing data and having downtime, and that people weren’t going to get it. In the end, we trusted XL.net, and everything worked out better than we could’ve expected. The switchover happened on a Sunday, and everyone was up and running on Monday, without any problems.

5.0 May 1, 2018We’re happy with their communication, which is mostly done by phone and email. They also produce two different reports for us. One is on the sales side where they tell us how things are going and ask what else we need from them, as well as how they can help us get there. The other is a support-side report, where they tell us what kinds of tickets are being generated by our staff on a regular basis. They also ask if those represent a training issue or if we just need an additional tweak somewhere. Then they’ll set up a time to review these reports so we fully understand them.
