We hired 2Ops to perform comprehensive penetration testing on both our web and desktop applications. Our goal was to identify and address any security vulnerabilities before a major product launch. What was the scope of work?

We engaged 2Ops to conduct black-box penetration testing for our web application and desktop client. Before testing began, we shared a high-level architecture diagram to help them understand how the systems were structured and how components interacted. This gave them just enough context to focus their testing effectively without revealing internal code. 
The testing centered on authentication flows, user roles, and permission controls. The goal was to ensure users couldn’t access features or data they weren’t supposed to. 
Although both the web and desktop client were tested, the results were delivered in a single, well-organized report. It included an executive summary that highlighted the most important risks, testing timeline, etc. It also included an explanation of the testing approach and tools used, as well as a detailed list of findings, each with severity ratings, real examples, and step-by-step remediation advice.

We didn’t have in-house Azure expertise and were developing an AI Chat Bot for deployment on Azure Kubernetes to achieve scalability of the product. 2Ops suggested we reconsider this approach and consider a more cost-efficient solution using Azure Container Instances. They also guide us on how to adjust resource requirements for Azure Container Instances. Based on their calculations, this solution could be 5-10 times cheaper monthly. 2Ops helped design the best solution, leveraging Azure's capabilities for optimal results, which was impressive.
