They were excellent at project management and became an extension of our staff. We communicated using Slack and used Zoom, Google Meet, and GoTo Meeting. Most of our operations happened via Google Sheets.

It only means that as a business owner, you need to write things down so they have a document or an FAQ to turn to so they know how to handle your business.
