The possibility of seeing real-time changes in Figma helped with the coordination, as we didn’t have to wait for the designers to send us their work – we could always open the tab and see them but also leave our real-time comments concerning the changes. This gave us a real connection with our work and a mutual understanding between our point of view and the designers’ point of view. We cooperated during the testing stage on perfecting the design and made minor changes to the user journey, as our employees found some features not ideal. The iterative process of testing and feedback was invaluable, as it allowed us to refine the product continuously and address any issues promptly.

We have weekly meetings. They are agile and very open in their communication. Those were the things that really stood out to me about the way that the process was going to move forward. They are very organized. Everyone works either on a Trello board or Slack to help keep people communicating all the time. The project manager will give me a list of things that I need to get back to her on, such as a decision about a feature, color, or button. She also has her list of things to do and then we just update each other accordingly.

In these meetings, we discussed features we wanted to build in the future and received feedback from the team. Additionally, working with a service provider from a different country who isn't fluent in the client's language made the project challenging at times. Sometimes, language barriers slowed our work, and we had to allocate a teammate fluent in Spanish to resolve the issue that needed to be unblocked.
