They did not deliver the project. thier start itself was bad, delayed start, false commitments. I had to chase them for progress updates. after lot of delay they showed some output and my god it was so bad quality. They had taken 50% payment initially and rest 50% was to be paid on delivery. but when i raised the concern over the quality of the delivery they started asking for the final payment and put the project on hold. not even 30% work was done. given the poor qualiuty of the work, delayed progress and lack of proper communication. i understood, i have invested in a wrong team. and paying a single penny more would be a bad decision. so even after paying a big chunk of money I had no option than to drop the project. and the worst thing is they did not care. no followups. the obvious reason was they realised poject is delayed and has low quality.

Our team receives many requests from customers to find teammates with specific skill sets related to our technology stack. We use Supersourcing for this.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Supersourcing provides us with development resources to deliver client requirements. These resources range from CRM and ERP app developers to full stack and mobile app developers. We usually receive the scope of work from our clients and brief Supersourcing about the engagement. From there, our team and Supersourcing hop on a discovery call with the clients to validate the requirements and ask questions before we move on to the design and development phases.

The resources sometimes get to interact directly with our clients. Meanwhile, the products are either built from scratch or redesigned and redeveloped from existing ones. For technologies, Supersourcing resources use React and Node.js for native apps and Flutter for cross-platform products. If we need to replatform a client’s website or migrate a legacy system to the cloud, Supersourcing also helps us.

We work with 20–25 Supersourcing teammates, including developers, designers, and QA specialists. We’re planning to increase the team size soon.

We measure success based on timely deliveries and net promotion scores. Based on these, Supersourcing has been amazing. I have no complaints, and our customers are happy. Moreover, we have quality parameters for testing apps, and Supersourcing has been rated highly. 

How did Supersourcing perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re truly cost-effective and have access to nearly every technology stack, so our ramp-up time is quick. We have an internal project management tool, which we use to interact with clients and Supersourcing. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their founder’s knowledge of technology is unmatched. He has a complete grasp of what’s being developed and delivered. Moreover, our access to their leadership team has been amazing — I can pick up the phone and call their director, founder, CIO, and CTO, and they’ll respond immediately.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They can improve their global reach. They’re limited to a certain geographical area and clientele. Since they’re doing such a good job, they should be reachable in all market segments. If something is good, it should be available to everybody. 

Meanwhile, I struggle to find resources with expertise in blockchain and Web 3.0. If they can add more resources around those technologies, then they’ll be truly amazing.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Give Supersourcing the liberty to develop and design products the way they want. This way, they’ll deliver the best-in-class software. If you micromanage and intervene too much with them, you’ll suppress their creativity. If you want to get the best out of them, give them the liberty they want — they won’t disappoint you in terms of timelines or quality.

We initially had discovery calls with Supersourcing to understand our needs and the skills we wanted in our candidates. Then, we went into the legal formalities of signing contracts and agreeing on payment rates. Supersourcing then shared the candidates' profiles for interviews, and we then hired the appropriate candidates.

We worked with Mayank (Co-Founder & CEO), a senior salesperson, and an account manager. I never engaged with the recruiters, although I know a team of 3–4 recruiters was working on our requisitions.

At one time, I had a team of 20–25 professionals working for me, all hired through Supersourcing's support. The hired teammates helped the team run smoothly. Supersourcing was the only hiring partner who understood what we wanted and sourced candidates accordingly. 

How did Supersourcing perform from a project management standpoint?

Supersourcing communicated well with us and provided a dedicated account manager who provided constant summaries of the project's status. The account manager also communicated the challenges candidates faced and was prompt to provide the details asked by our financial team. Supersourcing delivered work on time and communicated via phone calls, email, WhatsApp, and Google Meet.
Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

I want to give kudos to Mayank because I had never worked with a founder who was so closely engaged with a customer. He liked to spend time with me and never left me hanging on with any situation. Mayank talked with me to understand the problem and provide solutions. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Supersourcing had the necessary patience to work with us. Other service providers used to move to the next customer when our project wasn't moving forward or when they couldn't find the appropriate resources. However, Supersourcing never abandoned us and kept working with us to understand our problem. The team had patience and worked well with us. Supersourcing was focused and understood what we wanted to do; they were good at their work.

We had a meeting to discuss our objectives behind starting this website. There were different categories we wished to deliver products from. So they delivered a wireframe design which was approved by us, and then they decided a team which will be working with us. Apart from design there were payment gateways, telecom message providers, bulk mail providers and server systems which were perfectly decided by engineerbabu.

We started off by developing wireframes for the website and application after brainstorming with the team. We had a leadership team that took care of the product but needed a solid engineering team to implement the features.

We then began the development and testing of each module. The engineers from EngineerBabu were extremely supportive and worked greatly in sync with our team.

Our team consisted of 1 Account Manager, 5 Software Developers who worked on React JS & React Native. Initially, we started with 4 developers and after a period of time, we only needed 2 of them as the workload had decreased.

At a later point, we added two more engineers specialized in React technology to complete the team and finish some specialized work.

We were looking for a talented team of developers who can work remotely, most importantly on a budget. With EngineeringBabu, we’ve been able to concentrate on our available resources and carefully manage the business by taking it online at the right time.

We were able to add & remove engineers as per our requirement till the perfect team was built. All of this was during the uncertain times of the pandemic but they have helped us in every possible way.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They’ve been excellent so far. I stay in close contact with the team and they follow-up with updates on a regular basis. I am happy with the way they coordinate and plan as the team is quite responsible and flexible.

Most importantly, they are mindful of deadlines. As an added perk, if we needed some changes in the team or we had feedback, they were quite open to it and acted upon it.

Their responsiveness and sense of urgency to complete a task is second to none. They are extremely responsible and experts at what they do, as reflected in their deliverables and commitments.

They’ve also been able to offer up some fantastic advice for some of our key decisions. It’s more like a partnership than a remote relationship, so that’s great.

At the moment, not really. From all my interactions and work with them, I’ve been completely satisfied with the level of guidance and information they’ve provided me with.
