Mobile App Development for Videography Company
"Their speedy communication and ability to hold true to their promises are both rare and appreciated."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and owner of a startup videography company. We’re working on a mobile app to streamline the process for videography clients.
What challenge were you trying to address with TekRevol?
In a video production project, editing is a big challenge. We’re developing a mobile app that will help my customers or clients create similar end products to what I’m creating as far as editing together multiple clips of video.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We started off doing some consulting with them to develop the scope of the work with a few of their team members. The goal behind the app was to allow customers to gather multiple clips of video for the app to edit together for them. There will also be a place for companies to add information at the bottom. For instance, my company specializes in equine videography, so the information within the video could be details about the horse. The solution will be much more general, allowing people in the general public to create a video composed of several clips with the option of adding text information. The app lets customers do this without any editing knowledge or experience. They never need to learn how to edit.
They’re creating the app to be straightforward and user-friendly for people who aren’t very tech-savvy. For the sake of startup costs and testing the market, they’ll be focusing on an iOS version for now. The plan will be to implement the Android version after we launch the first version on the App Store.
What is the team composition?
I started working with Josh (Marketing Manager) and Ryan (Partner). They were responsible for providing me with some initial information about their services, which help us determine whether they were a good fit. They were very involved in the quoting process and the initial scope. In terms of the app build, I worked with three other project leads.
How did you come to work with TekRevol?
We considered about 10 other companies that were highly-recommended on Clutch. For each company, I discussed my vision and detailed the goals for the project. I felt a good connection with Ryan. Their price was middle of the road compared to the other companies we were considering, but Ryan’s friendliness and competence encouraged me to chose them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’re going to spend about $45,000–$60,000. The initial quote for the iOS app was about $45,000, which includes versions for both the iPhone and iPad. If I want to do the Android build, it will likely cost an additional $15,000–$20,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working with them since around October 2020. Currently, we’re working through the testing phases with them and should be ready to launch the first version of the solution in March 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
This is the first time I’ve developed an app with an external provider, but they translate my thoughts into design and function without too many hiccups or misunderstandings. My background in Photoshop has helped out a little because I’m able to give them almost-exact examples of how I want something to look. The best measure of success for me is how well they’re able to put my thoughts into action through designs and user flows. They’ve been very good at that.
Any time there’s an issue or they deliver something that wasn’t what I envisioned, they’ve been very receptive to hearing my feedback and fixing the problem. At this point, they’ve finished the alpha version of the app, and I’m getting feedback on it from colleagues in the industry. We’re hoping to start beta testing in the next few weeks, which will lead to a fully-functional prototype to iterate on.
How did TekRevol perform from a project management standpoint?
Each of the members of their team has been very receptive to my ideas and understanding of my goals. They’re still on schedule with their initial timeline estimates. They’re sounds with email communication, despite our time zone difference.
Even if I send them a message during the middle of the night their time, I never have to wait long for a response. They have high standards for themselves from a time benchmarking standpoint. In fact, they’re more strict on timelines than I am. We have Zoom meetings once or twice each week, where they discuss their plans and progress. They haven’t missed a deadline yet.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their speedy communication and ability to hold true to their promises are both rare and appreciated. They’ve been there when I’ve needed to talk to someone and have done what they say they’re going to do.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There may be slight cultural differences between me and their teammates overseas because sometimes I have to explain my vision or plans multiple times before they seem to grasp it fully. Because of that, someone from their US-based office may also want to jump on some of those calls to answer questions they may have.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would encourage you to hire them and have as many details and ideas as possible for them at the start of the engagement. Giving them ideas for design, colors, and user flows will help them create the product you want. They can come up with amazing deliverables, but the only way to get what you want is to give them as much information about your vision as possible.

Interactive Web App Development for Educational Nonprofit
“It’s been an awesome experience. It feels like we’re a family.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the executive director of Project Impact Mississippi. Our organization is an educational nonprofit based out of Mississippi. Our goal is to provide resources for schools, students, and teachers around the state. One of the main objectives is to fit into the gap of education where teachers do a great job but need a little bit of support to help them throughout the school year.
What challenge were you trying to address with TekRevol?
We identified the need to have a tool that students could use for the social and emotional support that they need. It’ll allow them to speak to counselors, therapists, and psychologists around the country, including the state of Mississippi. We brought on TekRevol to build that tool.
What was the scope of their involvement?
TekRevol is creating an interactive web application for us. The solution will allow students to securely log in and tell us how they’re feeling that day. It will offer schools the opportunity to get a read on the pulse of their students throughout the school day. In real-time, they’ll be able to look at how their students are feeling.
From there, we created a library of content for students to read through and journal about. We created the content and information for them to respond to and get an idea of what they think about certain topics that are current, for example, social injustice.
I had a lot of ideas. TekRevol created the mockups and showed me what the app could look like. Their team talked me through the different steps of what the backend of the system would look like from the reporting aspect to what the students would see.
Right now, we’re in the beta phase. The web designers and developers are currently building it. Our project manager contacts us 3–4 times a week to give us an update on what they’re doing. The backend of the system is built now, and we’re currently testing it.
What is the team composition?
I work with Ryan (Partner) and Abeer (Founding Partner & CMO).
How did you come to work with TekRevol?
They found me through a personal Facebook post I made looking for someone to build a web app. TekRevol went above and beyond to give me an idea of how this could be possible. I had an idea but couldn’t visualize it.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ll invest $35,000 for this project.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing engagement started around September 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They brought my vision to life and explained the process to us very well. TekRevol has a great team that’s extremely fun to work with. It’s been amazing to see the project come to life as it has. We didn’t think we could afford to build the type of product that we’re building. It’s about half the cost we thought with extremely high quality. That’s been amazing to see. I have nothing but positive comments about TekRevol.
How did TekRevol perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management has been the most impressive part to me. We haven’t been left out of the loop of knowing each part of what’s going on with this application. I can give Ryan or Abeer a call at any time and they’ll be responsive. I have great confidence in the project. They’ve kept us informed at every stage of the process. We know what we’re getting. We use Asana for project management.
What did you find most impressive about them?
It’s been an awesome experience. It feels like we’re a family. We have a good time and laugh about things throughout our call. It’s a comfortable way to do business with people when we don’t have to worry about strict guidelines of what has to be done.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, nothing comes to mind.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Don’t hold back on any of your ideas or goals you want to accomplish. I’m not tech-savvy so it’s amazing to see that I dreamt it and they built it. They’ll be able to make it happen for you.

Custom Web Dev & Design for IT Consultancy Firm
“If you’re looking for a customizable solution that’s true to your brand and vision, go with TekRevol.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO and co-founder of Megha. We’re a carrier agnostic, solution-driven IT consultancy firm. We have 150 partnerships with strategic IT carriers, as well as different manufacturers. With every opportunity that we go into, we always try to provide ROIs, whether that’s saving the company money, providing additional added-value to the services they currently offer, or giving them additional support, which many of them lack.
What challenge were you trying to address with TekRevol?
We hired TekRevol to help us with a customizable website that matches our culture, vision, and mission.
What was the scope of their involvement?
TekRevol took our existing website, which was fairly chaotic, and simplified it. Their web design incorporated our logo throughout the website, which was the brand development we were looking for. They added multiple calls to action (CTAs) to the site.
We’re starting a podcast and some other blogs, and they were able to incorporate that — in a very timely manner — to help deliver our company culture. That has provided some additional added-value to our end-users.
All of the other web developers that we talked to recommended certain platforms, such as Squarespace and Wix. However, I believe TekRevol designed our website using their own platform. They used that platform to incorporate our branding, content, and the layout that we wanted. I’m not sure of the exact tools that they used, but they were able to address our needs.
What is the team composition?
We spoke to a salesperson, who was very thoughtful. We let him know what we wanted and didn’t want, and he was honest from the beginning. He explained everything thoroughly and helped us get clarity around what we wanted to get out of the partnership.
Then, the salesperson handed the project over to Sam (System Architect), who has multiple levels of expertise. He acted as a project manager and web developer. He took down all of our questions and concerns, which I believe he then passed onto web development and UI/UX teams. It was great to just have two points of contact; we didn’t have to address our concerns to anyone else. Those contacts managed everything.
How did you come to work with TekRevol?
We chose TekRevol because they were within budget of what we wanted. A lot of other companies were also within budget, but they provided services for non-customizable platforms.
Additionally,TekRevol was able to deliver. They addressed our questions, concerns, budget, and planning. Everything was in writing, so that built trust.
How much have you invested with them?
My company has spent about $3,500–$5,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together in late January or early February of 2020. Due to COVID, we put everything on pause; we needed to focus on retention and helping our existing customers. TekRevol didn’t push us to complete the project, which was very nice.
We haven’t completed the website yet. My team needs to make a couple of minor tweaks, but once we get it over to TekRevol, it will go live.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
TekRevol is very flexible. If you have an idea in your head and you can articulate it to them, they can make it happen. If you show them illustrations of what you want, such as through a vision board, they can articulate it and incorporate it into your website. We may not have gotten it on the first try, but TekRevol is on track to getting our website to where we want it to be. The website will be more easily digestible to the end-user. Also, adding the CTAs will allow us to gather more conversions.
Additionally, they are very visual. We did a lot of video Zoom calls so that they could show us exactly what they wanted to do. This allowed us to be on the same page.
How did TekRevol perform from a project management standpoint?
They were able to get on calls whenever we needed them to. They also include unlimited revisions, so they won’t complete a project until the client is happy. We’ve done multiple revisions.
Communication is sometimes excellent; other times, we don’t get a response from them for a few days. That also comes back on us. Their timeline is great.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their custom design skills are impressive. TekRevol truly makes it your website, not something that everyone else has — you can put logos where you want to and move things around.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything.
Any advice for potential customers?
If you’re looking for a customizable solution that’s true to your brand and vision, go with TekRevol. Talk to Sam — he’s great. If you’re looking for something standard that everybody else has, like Wix or Squarespace, do it yourself.

We’ve added services since we started working with them because they’ve done so well. Overall, the quality of their work is superb.

Please describe your company and your position there.
Senior VP of integration and operations. Drop Locker is a complete enterprise software, equipment and operations solution for laundry and dry cleaners.
Developed out of Laundry Locker, one of the nation's first and largest locker-based delivery systems, the Drop Locker platform powers your business - from Drop Stores to Laundry Lockers - Our patented software, lockers and operations tools provide all the tools you need to get the best out of your business.
For what projects/services did your company hire TekRevol?
We are a very small team that needs help with white labeling our new clients. Most all of our clients are Dry Cleaning owners and are taking the big leap into stepping up their software when choosing to go with us and TekRevol is there to help them make their business look the best it can.
What were your goals for this project?
We needed a company that would be able to work quickly and at a reasonable rate. Dry Cleaners are known to be very frugal so Tekrevol hits the mark on all fronts.
How did you select TekRevol?
I had a conversation with the CEO back in the early days of the company and we connected on many levels. We wanted to create a bigger and deeper partnership in the future. However, at the moment we are starting small and looking to grow into that relationship later.
Describe the project in detail.
Dry Cleaners are not the most tech savoy to say the least. TekRevol not only builds them an amazing website (dry cleaning can be dull but not when TekRevol gets involved) but skins their communications emails, boosts their web presence with SEO and google analytics etc
TekRevol offers very affordable rates for these services (dry cleaners tend to be on the frugal side) with a break down on each service in a language that even a five year old could grasp.
What was the team composition?
Not sure how to answer this other than to say...we gotta guy :) Sam is our go to when managing our partners websites and other needs. He works fast and clean. He responds quickly to my emails and questions and of all the clients he works with I have only received good feedback from them.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Nothing at the moment. Only that our dev team never has to re do any work that is sent our way from the Tekrevol team.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Our workflow runs slicker than a river of WD-40. 10/10 on all their deliverables being timely and smooth.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I like supporting local. They dont outsource their work.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Right now everything is running smooth. My feedback on change is to change nothing. Keep up the good work.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the managing director of CydoMedia, LLC, and I’ve been with the company for the past five years. We’re a digital agency specialized in working with young entrepreneurs and startups, building out their businesses in the digital space. We help them build their brands, promote their businesses, and market everything.
What challenge were you trying to address with TekRevol?
When the digital space started shifting from computers to mobile devices, we were on the hunt for companies that could help us find a solution for one of the major problems.
Nowadays, users want an app for everything, and we were getting a lot of bad feedback about our client’s websites and e-commerce stores. They weren’t profiting like they used to. They wanted to move over to mobile apps, but our client base doesn’t have tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars to invest in mobile apps.
We reached out to TekRevol for a white label solution that we could give to our clients. We’d take their e-commerce websites and convert them over to mobile apps through a predefined solution. It helped us maintain their apps and provide back-office support. Every one of our clients that’s moved from an e-commerce site to an e-commerce app is satisfied and is on a retainer plan with us.
What was the scope of their involvement?
TekRevol developed the entire white label solution. We had a test run with one of our clients during the beta phase. TekRevol didn’t mind getting directly in touch with our client. They provided tech support over the phone and got things set up for them. They made sure that the beta testing went absolutely perfect, and they made sure any bugs were solved accordingly.
What is the team composition?
I was initially in contact with Abeer (Founding Partner & CMO), with whom I had a few discussions before we signed off on anything. We had a second call with Josh (Marketing Manager) and Ryan (Partner), after their proposal came through. As the project got rolling, Asim (Founding Partner & CTO), Estes (Senior Project Manager & Business Developer), and one other person got involved as the tech leads. Estes was the project manager I dealt with.
The team working on this consisted of three UI designers, one native Android developer, one native iOS developer, and one cross-platform developer.
How did you come to work with TekRevol?
Like anyone else, the first thing I did when I decided to do this was open Google. I chose TekRevol because Abeer told me that the idea I had wasn’t going to work and that I was wasting my money.
He told me that he didn’t want to run me into the ground, but my ideas were impractical and not favorable for our clients. He followed up with me a couple of hours later, saying that he had a word with the CTO, and they wanted to set up a second call.
On that second call, they revamped and took a lot of cons out of my idea, then provided me a solution. It was lined up with my initial idea, but in a different manner. When I saw that solution actually coming to life, I was very satisfied that they did it.
The tipping point for me was what TekRevol said and how they did it. Other competitors I spoke to told me that they could do exactly what I wanted, and that they’d charge me this much. They just agreed to what I wanted, and no one had their own idea. I didn’t just want someone to say yes to what I wanted; I wanted someone to analyze and understand my idea and tell me whether or not it’s feasible. If not, I wanted to know what I could do, and, if it was feasible, I wanted to know how. TekRevol was the only one that actually did that for me.
How much have you invested with them?
The initial development was $90,000, and we’re paying them a retainer of around $20,000 per month for support (approximately $330,000 in total).
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with TekRevol around September 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I’m not a tech person, so it’s hard for me to measure code quality. I’ve seen my ROI double itself after the app came in. Even though I’m paying almost an arm and a leg on a monthly basis, I’m earning double from my clientele.
How did TekRevol perform from a project management standpoint?
The transparency level was fantastic. They were available whenever I had a concern or question. I was very hands-on during the UI design phase because I wanted to make sure that what we put out there was appealing. When I told them this, TekRevol had the three UI designers present for all our Zoom meetings.
We were near development in February or March 2020, when the pandemic started, but we still needed to make changes to the UI. Even then, they were hands-on. They’d have Zoom calls from home to work on the changes with me. Nobody expected or prepared for the pandemic, but TekRevol came through for me.
What did you find most impressive about them?
It’s their level of transparency. Other vendors I’ve worked with treated me as just another client they were doing business with, but the venture with TekRevol was very different. They didn’t treat me as a client or as just another business opportunity. They were attentive whenever I didn’t know what to do next.
We made some amendments for new things that needed to be added, and they came to me with proposals before I asked for them. They upheld all initial agreements, but there were things I forgot to mention. They identified those aspects during the later stages, and they took the liberty of incorporating them. They made sure the product we completed was at 100% capacity.
Are there any areas they could improve?
This is hard to answer. There were a few meetings they missed, but that happened once or twice during the entire process, and they notified me 10–15 minutes in advance. Telling me one day before would’ve been amazing, but a 15-minute heads-up is normal.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
I’d say that the client would be making the right choice. I only know the team selected to work on my application, but those people were amazing.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of the Open Tab App, which allows people to open a tab and not forget their credit cards. We plan to launch the platform soon.
What challenge were you trying to address with TekRevol?
We needed a partner to bring our idea to the table.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We had ideas for the design, but TekRevol also brought their creativity. Their team created wireframes, essentially drawing the entire app on three sheets of paper. They built our platform from scratch, developing the platform for iOS and Android. Their team will also help us with our marketing strategy.
What is the team composition?
We work with a lead developer who directs a team from TekRevol. He runs the program on our side and delivers information from us to his team. We also communicate with Ryan (Partner) who provides great customer service.
How did you come to work with TekRevol?
I tweeted about my need for a development team, and multiple people responded. TekRevol was one of the first five companies that I communicated with. I saw their previous work on their website. It was modern, smooth, and clean. TekRevol was also new to the game, and I love giving people chances.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent roughly $33,000 over the course of the engagement.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started talking in October 2019, and we’re still working together.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We haven’t been disappointed. Working with them, it’s like we’re flying first-class on the best jet. They provide first-class customer service and results.
Based on their work so far, I wouldn’t work with any company besides TekRevol. We absolutely trust them. Their team’s been incredible.
How did TekRevol perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re better with deadlines than us. Their team's on top of their game. We never worry about getting in contact with them. The communication’s awesome. Even if they’re super busy, they’re willing to schedule a 30-minute meeting to go over the project. If their team encounters a challenge, they let us know.
What did you find most impressive about them?
TekRevol gives us their time, even when they’re swamped. Their team broke down the entire project to a level of detail that I’ve never seen before. They thought of tasks that I didn’t even consider. Their team’s particular and smooth.
Are there any areas they could improve?
As of right now, no. They’ve been great.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be serious because you don’t want to waste anyone’s time. If you’re ready to bring your idea to life, they’re the company to go with. Their team’s on top of their game and gets the work done.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I wrote my first book last year, and I decided I wanted to have an app that corresponded to it. I talked to my personal banker, and he recommended that if I begin to do different things, from book publishing to app development, I should set up my own company. I went ahead and established Ryan, Inc.
What challenge were you trying to address with TekRevol?
TekRevol has helped me with different projects.
What was the scope of their involvement?
TekRevol is helping me with three projects right now. One project is toward the end stages, one is in the beginning–middle, and one is still in development.
The first project was for the app based on my book, The Points of Life. The idea is that while we often look at different metrics to see how companies are doing, we rarely take those same metrics and apply them to our lives. My book creates a scoring system to rate your relationships with family, friends, and acquaintances. Then, the app brings that to life. For instance, you can put your new boss into the app, which provides a base score. Then, you input your interactions, and the app creates a graph to show how the person fits into your life, such as whether they’re harmful or influential. The app breaks down your time and lets you know if you’re spending too much time with people who are taking from you, and not spending enough time with people who are giving to you.
The bigger project that we’re working on right now is a fitness-based social media platform that will be a one-stop-shop for gyms, trainers, people just getting into exercise, and fitness professionals. It will have a news feed, access to online training platforms, and more. Right now, the market is scattered all over the place, but there isn’t a one-stop-shop as far as a social network where you can go and share ideas, ask questions, and have links to everything.
I really trust TekRevol to tell me which platforms to launch on. They generally launch on one platform, do a beta test and a test flight, get some feedback, and then launch on both iOS and Android.
What is the team composition?
I have two point people: Ryan (Partner) and Azib (Senior QA Lead). They’ve put together as many as 5–10 people if we need to put a rush on something. I actually started with another app company, but they just weren’t getting the job done, so I brought in TekRevol as a consult to see what was going on. I ended up switching over to them, and they let me know that if we wanted to get up and running correctly, we’d need to have some more hands on deck. They definitely have the ability to shift as needed based on the work requirements.
How did you come to work with TekRevol?
My wife was aware of my frustrations with the initial company, and she recommended reaching out to Ryan, her cousin. I did some research and found that he’s a young guy who is really doing great stuff. I let him know that if he was interested in doing the consult for me, then maybe we could do some additional work together. I was so happy with the consult, and now, we have three different projects going on.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent over $100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our work together began around April 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The quality of their work has been top-notch. The fact that they could’ve taken my first product to market when it wasn’t quite ready but ultimately didn’t speaks a lot to that. I’d already beta-tested the product, and with the consult and shifting the work over to TekRevol, I just wanted to launch. However, they let me know that it wasn’t ready, and they talked me into a secondary beta test. After seeing the feedback from them, I saw that they were right.
The easiest thing for them to do would’ve been to hit the button and launch, but they recognized that it wasn’t the best move for me. They stand behind the quality of their work. A lot of companies with less integrity would have just taken the money and launched it. They really give me direction on how to minimize our exposure and then also bring the best product to market.
How did TekRevol perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicate through whatever works best at the moment, whether that is a phone or video call, email, or text message. If we all need to get together and get updates, we jump on a Teams meeting.
At the beginning of a project, we sit down, and I lay out my goals and time frame. They’ve been really consistent about following through and achieving those goals and timeframes. They hit their goal the majority of the time, but if something unexpected comes up, they’ve been really good about communicating with me and being upfront.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The level of communication distinguishes TekRevol. No matter how I communicated with the first company I engaged, whether it was verbally or over video or email, we just couldn’t get on the same page, whereas TekRevol is right there with me. They understand my goals and what direction I want to go in, and they put together a plan that matches what I’m thinking.
Their ability to be on the same page as me has been amazing. When you’re trying to develop something like this, it’s just a raw, abstract idea. You can see the whole picture, but it’s challenging to communicate what’s in your mind to someone else. However, it’s been super easy with TekRevol.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We’re still early into the relationship, and I’ve been super happy with everything to date. With any company, there are always areas for growth, but nothing stands out.
Any advice for potential customers?
Don’t be afraid to give them some freedom to expand on your ideas. Sometimes, we’re so set on what we want to bring to market; however, based on their experience and fluency in the market, they’re going to have some ideas that you might not have thought of. They’re in it for your best interest, so be open-minded.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the marketing manager at BuzzFlick. I oversee business expansion, marketing, and other aspects of the business.
What challenge were you trying to address with TekRevol?
I’m responsible for getting more leads on board, and to do so, we often look for new opportunities to grow the business. That’s why I reached out to TekRevol.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We initially started off with website development. We already had a WordPress website up and running, but there were some issues that our production team couldn’t take care of. Our problem was that we weren’t getting enough leads because of the site’s technical issues, so TekRevol went through the site and did in-depth research on what was wrong and what could be done differently.
We’re currently working on developing a module through which users can create their own videos. This will enable our customers to use custom presets and upload their videos, edit them, add background music, and add other transitions and effects, ultimately creating a video for themselves. The portal is custom-built with PHP and other backend software.
What is the team composition?
There have been project managers working with us. Sometimes, I also get to speak with the production team. I’ve been in close contact with Asim (Founding Partner & CTO) and Abeer (Founding Partner & CMO). I’ve spoken to Abeer about the marketing aspect of the platform, how we can scale it, and how we can add value to the software to potentially get more leads when we have the product up and running.
How did you come to work with TekRevol?
I searched for mobile application, software, and website development companies. I came across a lot of companies, and TekRevol’s profile and CR were amazing. I checked their reviews, and people had good stuff to say about them. I had a chance to speak with one of their representatives, and then I was connected with Abeer. His vision was exemplary and connected directly to what I was thinking, and that really helped me make my decision to work with TekRevol.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent somewhere in the range of $50,000–$70,000. This includes both the website development as well as the software development that we’re currently working on.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working with them since November 2019. We’re currently in the stage of finalizing the product and pushing it live. Most of it is almost ready.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I’ve seen some major uplift in the overall website. The functionality is working perfectly fine. They’re pros at attention to detail. The other things that I really like about working with them are their commitment and ideas. They don’t just take the project and deliver what we tell them to; they put in extra effort to understand the project, the purpose, and the goals.
Throughout the process, we have had a lot of discussions. Since I’m the marketing manager and have a certain skill set, it’s always helpful to have Abeer guiding me and leading brainstorming sessions on how we can scale this product and overcome the limitations. Their marketing and product knowledge is exceptional and has been really helpful to me.
How did TekRevol perform from a project management standpoint?
We use various project management tools and communicate through calls and emails. They send me project files separately. They’ve been amazing on the project management side of it. They’re always available. We have long calls, and they never hesitate to end the discussion or cut it short. They have been helpful in that aspect. As far as the deadlines go, they’ve always managed to achieve them. My experience overall has been amazing.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their product knowledge makes them stand out. Their ability to get into the details and understand the purpose, the goals, and what the customer is asking for is amazing. That isn’t something I found while speaking with other companies, whose focus was mainly on delivering what I asked for. TekRevol provides amazing creative ideas. They have really helped me to shape my product.
Are there any areas they could improve?
In my case, they’ve been exceptional, so I can’t think of something that could add value to what they do. They have the right skillsets to deliver good quality mobile apps, software development, or website development.
Consistently turning the client's thoughts into tangible designs and user flows, TekRevol has thoroughly impressed so far. They have remained responsive and receptive to feedback, never complaining if they have to fix something. The partners manage their time zone difference well.
