I think I had some confusion about the expected work product when the rough drafts were amazing and came with lots of add-ons and marketing assets. But I think I was expecting the opposite, where the rough drafts are supposed to be more 'rough' and minimal and then more comprehensive work is supposed to be put into the final draft.

We only had a theme and a vague idea in mind when we approached them for the exhibition design. Also, we only had about 12 days from the start to the finish of the project. Hence, time constraint was a huge challenge. However, their entire team was very cooperative. Kedar and his team understood all our challenges and desires carefully and executed the entire project meticulously. He's very professional, but doesn’t have any ego. He has a very clear idea of what he thinks is appropriate, but is also open to suggestions. From my personal experience, you need to persuade other designers to adopt your ideas. They fight and resist you. This is not the case with Marc, and that's why we like working with him. He gives a lot of input, but he’s not adamant about getting his own idea through. Instead, he listens, takes my ideas, and makes them better.

Not much can faze the team. Vigor was not fazed by scope change or people coming in and saying they want to creatively direct. They did a good job of delivering their expertise. They were flexible in allowing us to have influence, but they also guided us. Some agencies give too much pushback and no flexibility. Vigor wasn’t unstructured, but there was that amount of flexibility and ability to take change pretty quickly.
