My business is young, around three years old and as it has evloved it has found its voice more specifically than when I first put all the branding together when I started out. I approached Fluid as we knew they had a great reputation and had worked with brands we loved. What I wanted from them was a refresh of my branding. Keeping its essence but updating it to reflect where the business was at.

It initally was very much a copy of other made to measure suit businesses out there however we do things a bit different. We are less chesterfield lounge and scotch, more froffies and fun and I wanted the branding to reflect that. So logo image, and branding were all updated and colours spruced up. I also wanted the copy on the website to be refreshed with all that in mind.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Very well managed. Each step of the way was clearly laid out and delieverd on time. It was evident that they ran a tight ship as each new person that we dealt with (team leader, graphic designer, IT etc) all were up to speed when we spoke and I felt like they genuinely had an interest in the brand and that we had a unique and valuable partnership. They really did listnen to our needs. Something we have found wanting with other similar outfits.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I mean it was all good, seriously. However what I really valued was them as people. They were great to work with, and I really felt like they genuinely cared. It was just not a quick gig, they want to see me suceed. Given that in the scheme of things my project was only small, this gave even more weight to that sentiment.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Fluid Branding could have done differently?

Could find no fault.

Litter Lock is a simple, sustainable bin-lock that eliminates litter escape from residential wheelie bins. I am a co-founder of the product

For what projects/services did your company hire Fluid Branding, and what were your goals?

We needed guidance with developing our brand from scratch. We had the name, however we needed to pressure test our ideas surrounding that name and whether it was right for our target audience. The end goal was to develop a brand personality which as a by product, created our branding collateral (including logo & tag) and the first cut of our website.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We felt it important that this process was done almost exclusively face to face and Fluid had a presence in our area. Also, word of mouth throughout our peer network was very positive .

Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.

Upon capturing our thoughts and ideas in that first face to face, they then when about demonstrating clearly to us they understood the outcomes we wanted. They built up a picture of who they though our customers were using global generic survey data they had access to.

Though presenting that feedback, they were able to then flesh out a brand personality and give what we ultimately wanted which was a logo and a tag line. That then cascaded into website development and all other related collateral

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

3-5 people - truth be told, the size of the project was pretty small in the scale of things and the team worked so seamlessly together with us, those boundaries went pretty much unnoticed from our side.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are still very much in a development phase of our project. The feed back we have received from market is very positive so far when looking of our branding.

Fluids approach being a classic ideation process was a very comfortable way for us (old Gen-X'ers) to convey our thoughts and ideas. It was clear from the initial feedback provided after our first session, the Fluid team had captured the brief clearly. This gave us real confidence they were the right fit of us. We did give them a reasonably tight time line to which they met.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The quality of work produced in the timeline given was impressive.
