I’m the marketing coordinator of MS & TJ Haylage. We supply horse feed to different countries around the world.

What challenge were you trying to address with Hydra Creative?

We weren’t happy with the then-current company handling our SEO, so we looked for a new one.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hydra Creative is in charge of our SEO and marketing. They do keywords, backlink research, and press release distribution. On top of that, they also make sure we’re visible at the top of searches as well as contact companies about doing articles for us. Their team has even created some banners and branding collateral for events. Currently, they’re building a new website.

What is the team composition?

Amy (Digital Marketing Manager) is our main contact. We also work with a few others including Shane (Design Lead).

How did you come to work with Hydra Creative?

I believe my manager found them; the engagement had already started when I joined the company.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them around June 2018, and the work is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They provide a monthly report that includes audience details that shows visitors to the website, bounce rate, stats for Facebook and Instagram, as well as how many people are going through the links on the website. We’ve seen increased traffic every month as well as increased sales since working with them. Our team is very satisfied; things are working exactly as we want them to.

How did Hydra Creative perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re responsive and good at meeting deadlines. Their team is proactive, reaching out to see what’s needed rather than waiting for us to reach out.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re supportive and easy to work with. Hydra Creative cares about the company, it’s not just about getting paid to do a job. Their team gets us better results than we’ve seen with past companies. There is good value for our money spent with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don’t have any complaints.

I’m the design technician at a roofing supply manufacturer. We offer a variety of roof protection systems and access ladders to enable safe access to flat roofs.

What challenges were you trying to address with Hydra Creative?

We hired them to design our website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They designed a new website for us. We built our original website using a free tool, but we wanted something more professional and high quality. 

After they completed the website, we brought them on for SEO services as well. We’re focusing on the organic search right now because we’re a B2B service provider in a niche market. 

They also manage our emails. 

What is the team composition?

I have two main points of contact. Amy (Digital Marketing Manager) is my primary contact for SEO. Chris (Developer) is on the technical side so he handles our email system. 

How did you come to work with Hydra Creative?

I found them on Google. I contacted two or three companies to get a quote and discuss the project. They were the best fit for us and were the most responsive. They were also local to us. 

How much have you invested in them?

We spent about £3,300 on the initial website, and the SEO services cost about £500 per month. So, we’ve invested about £15,000 in total (approximately $18,688 USD). 

What is the status of this engagement?

We hired them for website design in July 2016, and we brought them on for SEO services in the beginning of 2018. Our relationship with them is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re getting more inquiries from new customers through the website. We’ve just installed an online chat feature, and we’re getting lots of messages through that. We’re on the front page of Google now. 

How did Hydra Creative perform from a project management standpoint?

We don’t set strict deadlines, we let them crack on. We’re probably one of the easiest customers they have. However, they’re responsive and check in regularly. They provide monthly reports for SEO. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They notice issues right away and address them quickly. They’ve made the process very easy for us so we can focus on our core business knowing the website is in good hands. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not from my point of view.

Just pick up the phone and talk to them or meet with them in person. That’s the best way to get to know their team, and you’ll realize they’re genuine people who want to help.
