There is always that kind of stigma in hiring someone overseas: people might think the work will never get done or there might be trouble with communicating. With Kanda, all those things we thought we might see were proven wrong. They were probably even more responsive than my colleagues in the office. When they were leaving in 2018, I had a conversation with them. They told me how much they loved the project and the people. They were always available to help even outside of their allocated hours. Kanda had a per-hour model, but they were always willing to jump on the project really quickly.
