MegaplanIT has been great. All their work has been remote — they’ve offered to come on-site, but we don’t need that. When the ransomware attacked, they remotely got us the software and helped us rebuild our network. We were working 24 hours a day for almost a week, and people were able to respond at any given time. MegaplanIT gives me alerts and metrics about any security situation. Every time that we have an issue or someone within our environment does something that they shouldn’t, we send them an email, and we have a response within 5–10 minutes once they’ve already reviewed all the logs.

Not only that, but they really helped me print out the right HIPAA paperwork. I changed all my compliance paperwork this year in January with their guidance: consent forms, privacy notices. Apparently, every office is supposed to have a notice of their privacy practices. Ours have to be on a board in a waiting room, and they provided that for us. That notice is now framed in our waiting room. Now, if a HIPAA compliance officer comes in, they can see that there is one displayed. They're always there and very responsive. I think they're busy sometimes, but we’ll work out a time that works for both of us since I'm busy too. It's just very comfortable to work with them. They’re just like a part of our staff right now.

We just talk about it, and they do it, which is incredibly rare. There are three things that distinguish them. First and foremost, they know Amazon and its environment inside and out. I’ve thrown some fairly complex requirements at them, and they haven’t even batted an eye. Everything has been delivered to that ultimate level of expertise without fail.
