We are an ad-tech native platform company working as a premium DSP [demand-side platform]. I am the chief technology officer of the company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Clairvoyant LLC?
We were outsourcing our BI and analytics, but we wanted to transition to an on-premises solution using our Hadoop cluster.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
The project was scoped for a 3-month run building a data pipeline of event processing into the Hadoop database, which was pushed into Impala. Clairvoyant helped write the processing channels for all that data.

The project was completed to spec. It was a complicated job, and I appreciate Clairvoyant's engagement with us. They acted as an extension of our team, with almost daily standup meetings. The deliverables were documented and verified along with our teams.

We have an off-the-shelf student information system which had a number of areas that weren't meeting our needs. We were looking for help in creating some custom solutions that would integrate tightly with the existing system.

Clairvoyant has developed a number of applications for our organization, all written as standard Java environments. We host those environments, which function as web-delivered applications. Their use was within transcript evaluation, scholarships, and degree progress automation.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
We're very happy with the quality of the work. The main reason for this is that Clairvoyant uses an engaged development methodology, with frequent meetings, prototyping, and incremental reviews with the staff supporting those areas. Everyone is thus on the same page, adjustments can be made quickly, and the end result ends up conforming to our needs. We've been very happy with Clairvoyant's performance and reliability, as we've put our software into production.
How did Clairvoyant perform from a project management standpoint?
We've turned the bulk of the project management over to Clairvoyant. They have weekly or bi-weekly meetings with the affected business areas of our organization, while I perform executive reviews every month. We're all up to date on project deliverables and the timelines we're working towards.
What did you find most impressive about Clairvoyant?
The quality, innovation, and thought that went into our solution.

No. It's been a great relationship.
