I am the General Manager of a small Healthcare IT consulting company of about 20 employees, including regular contractors.
For what projects/services did your company hire Spectrum Technology Solutions?
We hired Spectrum to handle all our internal IT needs, from user support to procurement of new hardware and software, inclusive of training. I rely heavily on Spectrum to provide effective full service IT support to my team so that I don't have to worry about it. We also needed someone to regularly advise us to ensure we are always using the best solutions for our needs.
What were your goals for this project?
Bottom line, we needed to find a group that could give us all the support our growing company requires, at a very manageable cost. Spectrum often anticipates our needs and provides solutions that enable us to continue to move forward.
How did you select this vendor?
After speaking with different potential vendors, we were ultimately impressed with Spectrum's professionalism and eagerness to assist us in our mission. The cost was also a factor, and we felt we were getting a great value with Spectrum.
Describe the project in detail.
This is an ongoing project wherein Spectrum provides us with all manner of IT consulting and support. They provide us with everything from user support to procurement of new hardware and software, inclusive of training. I rely heavily on Spectrum to provide effective full service IT support to my team so that I don't have to worry about it. Spectrum also regularly advises us to ensure we are always using the best solutions for our needs.
What was the team composition?
We have a dedicated senior technical consultant who ensures our daily support needs are met, either by handling the issues personally or assigning tickets to the team. When needed we can also work directly with management and exec staff at Spectrum to resolve administrative or more complex issues.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
On several occasions, we have expressed a need for a system or service to fill a need, and Spectrum has provided stellar recommendations for implementation. For example, we needed to upgrade our existing cloud file storage system to something more robust and accomodating to our work processes. Spectrum recommended and implemented the perfect solution for us in a very short amount of time. They also facilitated training on the new system for my team to ensure quick adoption and overall success.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Workflow and communication between my team and Spectrum is comprehensive and efficient. We never feel that a question or request is too big (or too small), and Spectrum is always willing to address the request until it is resolved completely and to our satisfaction.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The thing I find most impressive about Spectrum is their unwavering professionalism. Every member of their team is knowledgable, polished, and proficient, and they are always willing to assist. It is this consistent willingness to help that allows us to be a more successful company in our own right. For this reason, I value Spectrum as more of a partner than a vendor.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Currently, no areas for improvement that I can recall. In the past, when we have had issues to address or suggestions for improvement, they have always listened and responded. I can't ask for more than that.

Spectrum offers IT Managed Services to our company.
What were your goals for this project?
Our goals included enabling the IT infrastructure and support for a remote distributed workforce that needed superior technology to compete effectively.
Many in the company came from the trade background and it was important to help with supporting a workforce that did not historically use computers and the internet.
How did you select Spectrum Technology Solutions?
We selected Spectrum because they did not come at us with a "one-size-fits-all" offer. They were willing to innovate and have continued to do so, to best support the objectives and business mission we are executing.

Spectrum Technology Services provides a number of ongoing IT services for Brewer Companies including managed support, security, and backend IT services. STS is enthusiastic about understanding our business goals and assisting us to achieve them.
They are committed to our success and growth of the business. Their proactive approach makes them a valuable partner.
What was the team composition?
The team composition has changed greatly over the years of our relationship. Spectrum has modified its structure continuously to support our needs and objectives.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Brewer operates with a large remote workforce. Many of our employees are manager driving mobile offices in outlying territories. We have hundreds of plumbers using mobile devices in the field.
Spectrum has refined its support systems and built a staff to superiorly support all of these users. Roughly 10 years ago we heard nothing but complaints about technology and the support systems he had in place.
Today, I hear nothing but compliments.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Workflow has been refined greatly over the years. It has always been effective, but we keep refining it!
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I am impressed with Spectrum's ability to innovate and modify its offers and practices to suit our business mission. Additionally, they have some impressive people that make everything work.
Are there any areas for improvement?
We are always working to improve practices. The constant flow of technological change and new tools in the marketplace force this. Rapid change requires a continuous refinement of practices!
