I am the Talent Sourcing Strategist for a mid-sized technology company who was in charge of recruiting efforts for finding a CIO. We are an enterprise technology company that supports 50+ operating units under one parent corporation. We provide and support all technology in every operating unit.

For what projects/services did your company hire nexus IT group?

We had gotten nexus as a referral from an outside source and are utilizing them to fill critical positions within our company. We are currently looking for a new CIO and Nick has been an outstanding help in this process.

How did you select this agency and what were the deciding factors?

We have a network of other external recruiting vendors but they were not being as productive as we needed and we needed someone who could find us high quality candidates that would fit our culture as well as have the technical aspects needed to fill the roles. Nick came to us as a referral and has exceeded all prior expectations.

Our current head of enterprise technology is transitioning into a new role and we are in need of a CIO to run day-to-day operations. We needed to identify candidates who would fit our culture as well as bring the technological experience who can oversee a company of 500+ employees.

Describe the recruitment process in detail.

We first discussed the need of this role to Nick, providing him with the details he needs to find qualified candidates. We also informed him of the culture we are driving here and how important a culture fit is for someone in this role. He then began providing us with ample amounts of candidates who would be good fits for this role. We identified 4 candidates who would all do a great job as well as fit perfectly into our culture and are undergoing interview processes at this time.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

Nick has been extremely responsive throughout this whole process, always providing very timely communication and throughout detail. This is a very good step in the right direction as sometimes others can not execute to the level in which we need. That is not the case here at all.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was very good. I would get a response from Nick in a matter of hours, if not minutes sometimes. He was very responsive and I couldn't have asked for better communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their efficiency in sourcing candidates is very impressive. I would have an ample list of qualified candidates in less than a week and it was great not to have to wait weeks for the best candidates to be presented.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not that I have to share.
