A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of Pain Stop Clinics, a chiropractic office with a medical integration model in Phoenix, Arizona. We mainly focus on procedural-based pain management, and we do chiropractic adjustments, surgical interventions, and care for pre- and post-operation.
What challenge were you trying to address with Cloudience?
We were looking for someone to support us in IT.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Cloudience is our partner for all things IT. They handle all our tech needs, including cybersecurity, cloud backup, network infrastructure, wifi, and more. They’ve even developed our website from scratch.
Additionally, Cloudience has helped us produce educational videos about medical equipment and home therapy options. We filmed the videos, and we sent the files to their team so they could take care of the graphics and editing.
What is the team composition?
I work with 4–5 people, including IT specialists.
How did you come to work with Cloudience?
They were referred to me by a chiropractor that I knew.
How much have you invested with them?
I’ve invested over $500,000 so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since January 2012, and our relationship is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Whenever we have issues, Cloudience is prompt in their response and shows up to fix our problems.
How did Cloudience perform from a project management standpoint?
Cloudience has a ticketing system that we use in sending concerns. They have a well-run organization, and someone is always available to help. Their ability to communicate is exceptional. We usually speak through phone calls and emails.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The promptness of Cloudience’s response and their caring approach are impressive.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Everything should be clear from the beginning — communication is key.

Managed IT Sevices for Surgical Center
“Cloudience’s project management was fantastic — that was the best part of our engagement.”

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m part of a group of physicians who offer chiropractic and rejuvenation treatments, and we also have surgical centers.
What challenge were you trying to address with Cloudience?
Our surgical centers are located in Phoenix, but we wanted to set up a remote surgical center in Indiana. We needed to figure out how to bridge the gap between the two locations so that we could run them in the same way. Thus, we were looking for a partner to help us in Indiana with our email, phone system, and everything else related to IT management.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We had taken over an existing vacant surgical center, so Cloudience first flew to Indiana with a team of technicians to set up our phone lines. Then, they provided and set up all of our computer systems.
In addition to the initial setup, Cloudience set up our employee email accounts, and they set us up on a secure network so that we could keep our patient files secure. Our biggest challenge was to stay compliant, but they helped us set everything up the right way to help us do that.
What is the team composition?
I worked with four people from Cloudience, from whom the owner was my main point of contact.
How did you come to work with Cloudience?
We were not HIPAA-compliant regarding managing the computers with our employees, so we first hired a compliance officer. Our compliance officer recommended Cloudience based on their experience working with them on a previous project.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $1,200 per month for Cloudience’s IT services for our clinic.
What is the status of this engagement?
Cloudience supported us with managed IT services for that facility from December 2018–December 2021, when we had to close down the facility. However, they still support five more locations of our locations.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Thanks to Cloudience’s efficiency in fixing issues, we were able to lower our IT budget over time.
How did Cloudience perform from a project management standpoint?
Cloudience’s project management was fantastic — that was the best part of our engagement. They offered incredible communication, and the owner was always readily available. Additionally, they always met the timelines they promised, and if they were behind schedule for any reason, they communicated with us to give us an explanation.
To manage the project, Cloudience used a ticketing system where we submitted tickets instead of having to track someone down to get help. They usually got back to us within an hour to tell us when and how they would fix the issue.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Cloudience’s professionalism was impressive. They were very patient with us, especially since we work in the medical space and don’t have a lot of IT knowledge. They always helped us with even the simplest things like logging into our laptops and creating passwords. For this, they remotely accessed our computers and guided us through the process. This was a very important aspect of theirs because we never felt like we were asking silly questions.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No. Years ago, I would have suggested Cloudience implement a ticketing system, but they then did it.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I strongly recommend working with Cloudience to help you stay HIPAA-compliant. Additionally, leverage their ticketing system because it works.

Web Development for Commercial Maintenance Company
“I’d recommend them at any time.”

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re a commercial maintenance and construction services company that does everything from landscaping, construction, and renovations. I’m a business development manager.
What challenge were you trying to address with Cloudience?
We had an inefficient IT structure, including an outdated website and almost no online customer support. I wanted to change that when I joined, so we called on their team.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They designed and hosted our property management website and added a client portal to the site. I was added to the portal as an administrator, which allows me to upload ongoing job photos to existing clients. The design included an SSL certificate, firewall, spam filtering, and Spanish translation. They also did some G-Suite email and security work with us. This was all built on top of our existing website. They continue to maintain, host, and back up our information to the cloud.
What is the team composition?
I worked mostly with a designer and developer. The owner checked in with us from time to time as well.
How did you come to work with Cloudience?
One of my business partners had worked with them on her other business about 7–8 years ago. She’s continued to use their services to this day. When the time came, she recommended them highly. After one conversation with them, I didn’t feel the need to shop around any further.
How much have you invested with them?
Our total investment was about $5,950. We spend about $95 each month for maintenance on top of that.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working with them since March 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They’re one of the best companies I’ve worked with in a professional setting. Our customers have been very happy, noting that our company has grown because of their work. They’re completely satisfied with the quality of their work as well.
One of the biggest challenges in providing quality customer service to property managers is efficient communication about issues that arise. Their team enabled us to provide ongoing photo updates of our work on fixing issues to these managers. They’ve indicated that it’s made their jobs easier.
How did Cloudience perform from a project management standpoint?
I’d regularly receive phone calls and emails about the progress and status of new tasks. Then, we’d also have conference calls to review their work on the website and any relevant changes. There was plenty of education needed on my end to run the website portal that they were also able to provide.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’d recommend them at any time.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t have a single complaint about them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be prepared for a lot of communication for the entire duration of the project length. This will likely be the best communication you’ve had with an outsourced partner.
Cloudience is an effective and responsive partner that successfully fulfills the client’s IT needs. Their top-notch project management results in streamlined communications. A true partner, they are prompt and caring — they leverage their technical skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
