      I think they're excellent people to work with. They're very attentive and have great suggestions but they're also very hands off. If I push back and say, “look this is the way it's got to be”, Cascade is very respectful of that. That's the reason I went back to them for a second time to do the updates for the website because I'm very comfortable working with them and I trust them. They're very accommodating on a number of different levels.

      In the initial stages when I was interviewing organizations, Cascade paid attention, on a very personal level, to what I needed. They were willing to meet with me, listen to me and have a conversation about what it is I wanted to do in earnest. This wasn't the case with the other people that I interviewed. I want to be able to sit down and see who I'm working with and build a relationship with them.

      The team is great, very responsive and positive. I liked that they were always willing and able to come to our office to review comps of web pages in person and not do it all over the phone. When things weren't going perfectly, I could pick up the phone and call Ben. He really listened to me, and we were always able to reach a resolution or decide on next steps. I never felt hesitant about making that call. I really appreciate a vendor willing to have frank conversations.

      Baunfire communicates very well with us. We've had several issues with our Webflow, and the team did their best to work with that. Baunfire has launched the site a little after our initial target, but we've worked around it together, and it's totally fine. The delay isn't Baunfire's fault, and they've worked around the clock to get everything done. Baunfire is incredibly hardworking, and I'm pleased with their communication and collaboration. We collaborate via Google Docs, Google Slides, and Figma. We also communicate via Slack, which is helpful for getting quick answers from them or coordinating the content on our end. We also have weekly Zoom meetings and other meetings as needed.

During the website development process, they were willing to iterate whenever we changed our minds, which was great. We met regularly to ensure the project stayed on track.       Be bold in asking for what you want. If you don’t like the design, tell Baunfire. They’re truly receptive to feedback and collaborative. In our case, I had a number of comments on their design, and the team made sure to address them. Lily was such a good project manager; if it hadn’t been for her, we wouldn’t have been able to stay on track and deliver the project on time.

      Baunfire delivered on budget and was very collaborative. Although they had a content strategist and a creative director, our team contributed heavily to the content creation portion of the project. We were pleased to sync up and align to define the content we would put into the site. Basically, we treated Baunfire as our own team members and embedded them 100% into our processes. That approach was very helpful, especially during the first six months, because everyone was very disappointed with what the other agency had delivered. Baunfire’s team was part of the weekly team meetings with our creative team. Our senior director of creative brand worked closely with them, and she had a fun time, which is what a website development project should be about.

      In terms of quality, Storm Brain always asked us for ways to improve things. Storm Brain was detail-oriented, and I loved that they were communicative. I could send the man an email any hour of the day or night, and Blake or his team would get back to me right away. Further, there was never any question that was too big or too small for Blake. We couldn’t talk to the founders of other companies. Blake, on the other hand, was extremely personable. We never felt that he was removed from us in any way. There wasn’t any alarming major transition since they were so open to us about everything.

      They always kept in communication with me. They would respond to my emails anytime that I had issues come up. They would get back to me quickly and help me work through them. I did some personal site visits where they could actually see me and put a face to the name, which helped. It’s always been positive and responsive. They made sure to set up the meetings we needed. To me, their responsiveness was the most important thing. I don’t want to be spending a lot of money and not getting a response from an agency or being worried about a deadline and not getting updated communication on what’s happening.
