The Fixel team built the new website that we launched in May 2023 and migrated all of our existing content. Since then, they provide ongoing support and updates as needed.

Key deliverables:

1. Establish clearer branding.
2. Refresh the website design to match that branding.
3. Cleanse the website codebase with holy water.
4. Empower our staff to do more with our website.
5. Outsource as much of this as possible.

Scope of work:

We were determined to stay as true to our current logo as possible. We iterated on this quite a bit but the end result really shines. I hate looking at our old logo now. 😆

We also polished up our existing product logo (Gravity Perks) to ensure it fit within the new branding direction. Fixel also cooked up some exploratory logos for future products just to help us visualize the direction this brand could take us.

Next up, we received designs for the home page, product landing pages, index pages, search page, article page, and probably a few others I'm missing. There was an incredible amount of work and attention to detail in this phase.

Once we signed off on designs, Fixel took those designs and delivered a fully functional website to us. We then took that website and modified it to fit our desired architecture. The process worked out really well.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

1. We saw a ~1% increase on conversions across the board.
2. Our employees have seen a 30%+ increase in productivity when adminstrating the website attributed to improved reliance on the block editor and standardization of the brand (less questions/debate about what falls within brand guidelines).

We worked with Fixel to develop our brand look and feel, including creating our brand style guide; redesigning our company logo; and creating new logos for two of our products. We also worked with Fixel to completely redesign our website to create a more appealing visual design and layout that effectively targeted a developer audience. 
We had also previously been using a proprietary CMS, so Fixel replaced this with Statamic to provide a more secure and self-serve backend CMS. We've been extremely happy with the results; I especially like the ability to easily create new webpages and layouts using existing content blocks in Statamic.

• Measurable increase in site traffic and time on site
• Brand style guide that helps us use consistent colors and branding across all digital properties
• Implementation of self-serve backend that saves significant money on an ongoing basis due to our ability to post and update content in-house

Fixel is excellent at project management. Work was always delivered on time and as expected. I've never had to wait longer than an hour or so when I send an email or a request or question (and for urgent inquiries, they always respond right away).
I felt like they really prioritized our work, and we were engaged with multiple team members at Fixel to discuss the project. I like their system of using ClickUp and Loom for async communication and presentation of designs; it's much easier and saves time vs. jumping on a call (though they were always willing to do that when needed).

The level of attention and care that they devoted to us was impressive and their ability to move really quickly. This was great for us as a startup. They also respond really well to feedback and their designer is excellent and was always able to create designs that really matched what we were looking for, with relatively high-level design direction and feedback.

I honestly can't think of any!

Vin, Galen, and the whole team are the best of the best. They provide an extremely high level of service at competitive rates, with a focus on flexibility and customization. I cannot recommend them highly enough for any website and design needs, and I can't imagine working with another team on these projects.
