The team is incredibly transparent. We’ve never once received a surprise bill. They’re also open to new ideas that we present to them, even if it means learning new technologies. For example, we implemented third-party security elements as part of our update to how we process credit card transactions. We asked Bit by Bit to make sure that our website is secure, expecting it to be a separate charge as an additional service. However, they were happy to add that service to the monthly desktop support and security feature contract.

Every once in a while, we will hear suggestions about what features should be more accessible, and we can go back to KDG to see if those are possibilities. If they are, KDG will make the change, even though it wasn’t in the original scope of work. If we ask KDG to do something different, they will either come back to us and provide a no-cost option along with an alternative timeframe for what we want. In 11 years of working with KDG, we have never gotten a surprise like an unexpected bill or a missed timetable, without prior notification from the team.

They have overseen the rollout of various software upgrades, namely Azure and other MS Office Suite applications. The rollouts were planned together with us and were completed on time with limited exceptions. In the event there were unexpected challenges, these were communicated ahead of time, and alternative solutions were provided in order to limit "downtime." Separate and in addition to these major projects, the Help Desk has always been and continues to be very responsive.
