I was the owner of Kennedy Pharmacy. We’re a retail pharmacy with an online component that sells supplies to doctors’ offices.

What challenge were you trying to address with Whole Technology?

They set up the internet and phone lines and make sure they’re running properly.  

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They set up routers, configured our wireless network, and set up our phones and automatic text messaging. Then, if I needed new equipment, they would get it for me at a good price and show me how to use it.

One time, there was a problem with our internet connection and they were able to fix it right away.

What is the team composition?

Anthony (President) was our main point of contact.

How did you come to work with Whole Technology?

Anthony’s wife works for my pharmacy school’s alumni group. I knew I needed a partner and didn’t know where to look, but once I met her, she recommended Whole Technology.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent about $5,000 on new equipment and we pay them about $500 a month (approximately $23,000 in total).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with him in January 2017 and although I’m no longer with the company, they’re still working together.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I like that Anthony is very responsive. Most of the time, he answers our call, and if he doesn’t, he gets back to us within a few minutes. He’s very organized, trustworthy, and reliable.

How did Whole Technology perform from a project management standpoint?

Almost everything could be done over the phone, but Anthony came to our offices if we needed him to.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re able to do anything we ask them to. I couldn’t be happier with them and their prices are reasonable.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There isn’t anything they need to improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Treat them well, and they will treat you well in return.

We were looking for an IT services provider.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Whole Technology provides managed IT services on an ongoing basis. They helped us set up Microsoft Teams and handle all things Microsoft. Anytime we have any troubleshooting problems we contact them. They’ve helped us set up emails, phone systems, and more. 

What is the team composition?

Our main point of contact is Anthony (President, Whole Technology).

How did you come to work with Whole Technology?

We received a referral for Whole Technology from one of our clients. 

How much have you invested with them?

We pay them a monthly retainer of around $250.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement with Whole Technology began in January 2017.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We appreciate that Whole Technology is consistently available for us. They always take care of everything and we’ve never had any issues with them not completing a project.

Anthony was very professional, a lot of the time it feels like he’s part of our team. He’s been a great asset to our company.

How did Whole Technology perform from a project management standpoint?

Whole Technology was prompt at meeting deadlines.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

The support from Whole Technology has always been incredibly thorough. If Anthony doesn’t know how to solve a problem off the top of his head, he’ll conduct research to make sure it’s done correctly. He also always takes the time to follow up. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, everything has been great.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be as thorough as possible in your explanation of what the issue is. Anthony can more successfully troubleshoot when he has all of the information.

We wanted a more secure way of corresponding with each other via email.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They coordinated with GoDaddy and connected us with Office365 business essentials and licenses, set up user accounts of our staff members, and helped to train us on the new email system.

We worked with Anthony (President).

They were recommended to us by our website provider.

We've invested less than $5,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in August 2019 and wrapped up in October 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Overall, our experience was excellent.  He did video conferences with the staff to help everyone get up and running and he's been very responsive. It was exactly what we were looking for.

How did Whole Technology perform from a project management standpoint?

Anthony was very responsive, efficient, and pleasant to work with. We communicated via phone and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Anthony worked hard to understand our business and what we were looking for. He was very good at making solid recommendations and walking us through the process.

No, nothing comes to mind.

My advice is to just give him a try.
