Once you are dealing with a development company, you’re in a symbiotic relationship. If we struggle, they’re going to struggle; vice versa. If we’re successful, they’re successful. It’s been the latter. I couldn’t speak enough to their abilities to deliver for us especially when we needed them to deliver it.

It was a smooth experience. They use the same tools that we do, which was a major factor in hiring them. For design, they use InVision and Figma which was very convenient for collaboration. For communication, we used Basecamp to get all the stakeholders together for that project, which was important as it is a distributed work environment. I work in Vancouver, my headquarters is located in Palo Alto, and part of my team is in Ukraine. We also used Meet or Zoom for video calls.

Intergalactic is a small company that is armed with a fairly small team of devs, yet I found it extremely impressive how the team worked together cohesively to ensure that the necessary tasks were completed by the necessary deadlines. In an environment where it was easy to make excuses, they chose to find solutions.
