Itechnolabs developed the whole platform from beginning to end. Our goals were to have a platform where the user can rehearse their presentation and the AI in the platform provides feedback on their eye contact, voice and gestures and also proves an overall confidence score.

We built a technical spec, itechnolabs produced sprints of how they would develop it. The project was complex in that we were requiring AI to assess eye movement, voice (pace, volume, pauses and filler words) and number of gestures. Itechnolabs have used python for the Ai. This was the first time Itechnolabs had done AI development and wow they are good. It required communication with sendgrid, setting up github and the team helped us with all of that.

The outcome has been fabulous. They completed the tasks to the sprint dates. The AI feedback has improved in accuracy and the team are very willing to help us even if it is out of scope.

I’m one of the founders of a new social media alternative to Instagram.

What challenge were you trying to address with iTechnolabs Inc?

They’re helping us build our iOS and Android application.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

People can either sign up for themselves, with a phone number, or as a brand or company with an email and password. Each user has a profile, an explorer feed, and the ability to friend other users. iTechnolabs has also created channels where you can view different brands, athletes, and industries in real-time. Posting functionalities include photos, videos, and VR posts. Users can add text and filters to their posts as well.

The app also has an activities tab and the ability to post links to your profile bio.

All the feeds, both the explore feed and the profile feed (of all your personal posts) are chronological. There are no algorithms.

What is the team composition?

We’re working with three developers; they’re all iOS and Android developers.

How did you come to work with iTechnolabs Inc?

I found them on Upwork and worked with 3–4 partners that didn’t work out too well. iTechnolabs had the best communication of any option I tested. They were also available to work every night of the week with me.

How much have you invested with them?

The cost is around $50,000, so the total is just above $100,000 at this point.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since June 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The UI/UX they’re developing is beautiful. It’s a very high-level application, and it looks great — not like one of those crappy apps that’s old and outdated. It looks modern.

How did iTechnolabs Inc perform from a project management standpoint?

I work with them every night during the week, and they join me on Pacific Standard Time to talk about the project. At the beginning of each week, we come up with a list of priorities to address. I do the UX work myself and send those designs to them to work through and then we come back to discuss them at night. All communication happens through Upwork.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their communication and ability to deliver stand out the most. I’m picky with my vision, and they understand it when I tell it to them. I can also always get a hold of them, too, including the developers. Other vendors won’t respond or be available for a week or two, and then you’ll lose any momentum you had. iTechnolabs isn’t like that.

No, not at the moment.

Keep communicating with them so they know exactly what they need to do.

It is a complete fleet management apps to share the ride for the long distance and share the expense. Moreover, we will add our IoT devices on the fleet to track the vehicle movements and complete information about the driver for safety purpose of passenger.
