The Canadian Dental Association (CDA) aimed to expand SecureSend's offering by developing a mobile app, enabling dental professionals to securely share patient documents, images, and information from their mobile devices.

Iversoft built a seamless, secure, and user-friendly app (for iOS & Android) that fully integrated with SecureSend, ensuring compliance with data security standards while enhancing workflow efficiency. The development process prioritized intuitive UX, encryption protocols, and real-time syncing with the existing system.

I’m the president of a web production company. We specialize in strategy, UX, and UI/UX design, and we primarily do large-scale enterprise websites and web projects.

They’ve more than met our client expectations and have kept our end client in a real CAA. They’re very happy with the work that allows us to focus on what we do really well. Everyone on the crew has been very verbal and cooperative in sharing our goals and expectations

All of the requested work was delivered on time and on budget. Their communication was absolutely great. They had great communication. They would send us a great overview of all of the tickets that were referenced and our logs.

The project has compiled information about 34,000 events into a Neo4j database. The data spans 1964 to 1981. There is currently a web app running, but it’s time to expand the interface to showcase the connections between activists, artists, writers, publishers, and politicians that made up this important social movement. 

Iversoft will guide the migration of the existing project website to a new host; refine the search function and results visualization; design a backup strategy; create templates for database-driven entity pages; develop a user-friendly password-protected portal to update the database.

Feature-sets getting done, testing and deployed successfully, timely support which is hard, programming best practices implemented, efficient code & IP management, taking various useful forms in the project.

I am an Executive for Breakwell Community Health, an organization that is concern with providing mental health services to rural and isolated communities through mobile app developments.

We hired Iversoft to develop and design a mental health mobile app for rural Indigenous communities.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We interview various companies and decided to go with Iversoft based on their mission statement, company values, and work ethic.

We had a series of meetings to discuss project goals, community research that had already been conducted, the vision for the app, and basic wireframe ideas. Iversoft prepared a detailed quote and a breakdown of activities based on the scope of the project. We have met with Iversoft every week since the start of the project to touch base on the progress of all stages of the app. We are extremely happy with the work they have done and continue to do on the app.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

A project manager and director of sales were assigned to be our main point of contact throughout the project. We met with them once a week to discuss progress and developments. We also worked with a graphics team that did an amazing job incorporating feedback and designing the app layout and icons. Additionally when necessary we worked with front and backend developers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The app is scheduled for completion in the next few months. Thus far Iversoft has done an amazing job in designing the app and meeting the deliverables of our contract. They are very detail oriented and client focused. Great communication and reliability.

The Iversoft team, both the project manager and director of sales, have been easy to communicate with throughout the project. They provide weekly updates through email and through video calls. Iversoft was very accommodating and flexible with us when a few deliverables needed to be adjusted mid-way through the contract. They graciously provided new timelines and took on the extra work needed to complete the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We really enjoyed working with Iversoft and all the members of their team. Their compassion and genuine care for their clients are felt throughout the entire project. Their design team did an amazing job creating the app icons and app logo, based on feedback, conversations, and images. The team was very responsive and great at communicating deadlines, project timelines, and goals.

They were also extremely accommodating to unexpected delays and changes on our part. As the app moves towards launching and developing in other communities, we look forward to continuing to work with them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There is nothing that we can identify for areas of improvement. We were satisfied with all aspects of delivery.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company.

We're a SAS platform for charities to host their events and do fundraising. We operate with big browsers, mobile Web and mobile applications. Iversoft works on the mobile apps.

What is your role and responsibilities?

I’m the product manager for the platform, so I’m responsible for the overall roadmap, vision, features, and functionality of the Artez platform.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What was the strategy behind the app?

The app is for fundraisers to register for an event that they can download, and keep up to date on their fundraising progress, reach out to friends and family for donations, and so on. The main thing that we looked to address was user engagement, making sure people liked it, and were using it on a regular basis to track their fundraising. The more engaged they were with the app, the more engaged they would be with fundraising itself. The other aspect was a communication channel from the charity to the fundraiser, making sure that any pertinent messages were being passed along to the fundraiser, and ensuring they’re aware of where the money is going. It also passes along information about the event.

SOLUTION

Please describe the scope of their work.

In this case, they worked on development for Android as well as iOS apps. That included integration to third parties for things like push notifications. All of the design and support is done in-house by our company.

What was your process for selecting Iversoft Solutions?

That is outside of my hands. I believe they were here when I started.

Can you provide a ballpark dollar figure for the size of the work that they’ve done for you?

It's fairly large across the two apps. With our most recent release, the work was in the range of 100 man-hours across the different platforms and the integrations we had to do.

When was the latest milestone completed for that work?

The last major project was completed in January of 2013, but we have used them for minor projects and things like iOS 7 updates. They are definitely still engaged on a smaller basis.

Do you have any statistics or metrics to track improvement from the project?

An Australian client was the first big organization to use the new app platform. In overall fundraising, they saw year-over-year growth of 10 percent, which is really good. I believe that 28 percent of their event participants actually downloaded the app and logged in to it. On average, app users came back to the app 36 or 40 times in the three-month period. Every couple of days, they were logging into the app. That is a big deal because we launched it in January, and this particular event was in the middle of March. There wasn’t much time between the app launch and the event, and the fact that people were logged in on average so much meant that they were engaged with it.

Do you still feel you selected the right platform for the app?

Absolutely. Android and iOS meet our needs.

How did Iversoft Solutions perform throughout the work?

They were great. They were always quick to respond, very helpful, very willing to make changes as necessary if there was a change in the original scope. They were very adaptive and perfect for the project. That’s why we continue to work with them.

Is there anything unique about them that really makes them stand out, compared to other companies?

The engagement that they show in wanting to make it a success and really understanding the use is unique. They provided feedback on anything that came up, whether it was a design issue, functionality or making suggestions. The overall engagement to deliver on the project, and to make sure the project is a success was strong. That included working on the defined scope or making suggestions on how it could be better.

Looking back on the work so far, is there any area that you think they could improve upon or that you might do differently?

I don’t think so. Everything has been very smooth, and I have nothing but positives to say.

They’re all over that map. There’s probably been 15 over the last five years. But it’s straight deep-dive, large-scale mobile apps.

Both of those two.

Iversoft took over the development of an existing web & mobile platform for one of MPL’s clients. The platform provides on-demand services (ala Uber) for realtors to use to organize the installation, changing, and removal of on-premises realtor assets (Sold Signs, Lockboxes, etc).

The platform includes a mobile app for realtors to submit their requests, an app for drivers to accept pick-up/drop-off orders, and an admin portal to track all transactions, orders, account information & more. The platform’s codebase required a major overhaul of both the back-end & front-end (mobile & web) and Iversoft has been spearheading this initiative, making major improvements to the platform’s UX/UI, existing functionality & implementing new features.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Key milestones of the project were met, on time and within the anticipated budget. Quality of the work has both us and the end client very pleased with the outcome.

Project management went above and beyond. Throughout the engagement there has been clear and timely updates, often ensuring we had opportunity to be proactive with planning next phases of work rather than reactive or rushed. They were always very accommodating, showing flexibility to hop on calls when needed, and/or providing detailed status reports in order to keep track of various deliverables.
