A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

NETGEAR Inc. is an American global networking company that delivers products to consumers, businesses, and service providers. I was the lead UX [user experience] designer of the company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Input Logic?

We needed help with the interface and UX design of a mobile application.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Input Logic provided design and frontend development for the Android and iOS versions of our router installation app.

How did you come to work with Input Logic?

I was looking for a partner close to our Richmond office. I made some research, saw Input Logic's work, was pleased with the aesthetics, so I hired them.

How much have you invested with Input Logic?

The cost of Input Logic's work was between $110,000 and $120,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Input Logic around one year ago. The project took 6–7 months to complete.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

We were really pleased with Input Logic's aesthetics and general work. There were many development challenges with the project, mainly because we had overseas vendors providing incorrect API calls. This led to a lot of blind effort on behalf of Input Logic in order to make things work, in situations where many other companies would have given up.

How did Input Logic perform from a project management standpoint?

Input Logic has a more Agile approach and had to adapt to our waterfall development style. The interface was developed a bit ahead of time, in parallel with the wireframing.

Input Logic's team was extremely communicative. The project scope was continually changed, but Input Logic continued to meet our estimates mainly because of their Agile methodology.

What did you find most impressive about Input Logic?

Input Logic's team is passionate. They took a stab at our data and broken API and blew our expectations.

Are there any areas Input Logic could improve?

Input Logic's team was not getting the right answers from one of our developers at a certain point. Instead of escalating, they kept on working, which made things harder for them. At the end of the day, everything was sorted out, though.

Overall Score Input Logic is one of the easiest to deal with agencies that I've worked with.
