It is rare that a deadline cannot be achieved, however, if that happens, I know about it WELL in advance and the reasons why the deadline had to be adjusted. In all, the plans and steps were transparent and it was easy to get a status update by using the task management tools or a quick email. The project manager was adept at speaking in laymen's terms to walk through our staff's needs and could also talk to the developers to discuss ideas for how to tackle various phases of the project. Communication is timely and consistent.
