5.0 Aug 30, 2021I have to say, it was pretty amazing how we transitioned with designDATA during a pandemic when all of our offices shut down at slightly different times. In our Washington DC office, there weren’t any notices, because it was reported that someone in our building had tested positive for COVID-19 — everyone grabbed their laptops, went home, and we got them back online almost immediately. We communicate by email, Microsoft Teams, and often by telephone. We have a Teams meeting once a week, and there is ad hoc messaging between us that goes back and forth. Furthermore, our website is developed by a third-party company and is housed in the Amazon cloud. Wherever there is a change to that, we get designDATA on with the vendor to make sure that everything is working together properly.

They don’t just deliver cookie-cutter training; they take the time to understand our needs and build custom sessions (2 per year) that are not only relevant today but will also serve as a long-term resource for staff onboarding. Every training session is delivered on time, and it's live and interactive to give us the opportunity to ask questions and really learn hands-on. They’re also proactive in updating content to keep up with evolving technology (like using AI tools) and cybersecurity threats.

One day, we lost connectivity to the internet due to unscheduled and unreported work on a nearby node, within 30 minutes, the Proper Sky team came to our office and set up a mobile cellular hot spot to restore our access. Proper Sky now provides regular reports in Power BI so we can track how the phones are being utilized. This is extremely helpful.

5.0 May 14, 2025As I had hoped, Frank was extremely professional, he explained exactly what he was going do to remediate the virus and assured my client that they would be protected going forward based on the recommended software he was installing. He provided updates throughout the process and explained the type of viruses he had found and let them know he took care of them and that their data was safe. Frank and his company are the epitome of the slogan “going the extra mile”. My first-hand experience of their professionalism, knowledge, and care demonstrated to me that Ferrara IT truly cares about their customers.
