For what projects/services did your company hire AVASOFT, and what were your goals?
We were using legacy insurance management system which was created over 7 years ago and had become outdated. Since, we didn’t have any in-house development team to invest in a new application development, we hired this team to design and develop a SaaS application for us. By doing this, we were hoping to enhance our customer experience better and get more revenue by end of this year.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We searched online sources for rebuilding our application in US region and we found this vendor to be having a good online presence compared to the other vendors. After interviewing them, we chose this vendor based on their proven expertise in the past year WRT application modernization and detail planning and cost estimate.

We had a kick-off meeting to discuss our goals and requirements. From there, the team delivered mock-ups as a click through prototypes and intuitive visuals for our insurance management application. After a couple of iterations, their team shared the most user-friendly design and developed it on time.

A project manager from our main point of contact throughout the process. There were 1 UX Consultant, 1 UX Developer, 1 Graphics Designer, and 3 full stack developers.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We were able to enhance our customer experience 75% compared to the previous application. Our clients were happy with the new application, as it was more user friendly than the previous application. With the updated designs and enhanced UI in the new applications, our clients were able to easily understand our insurance offerings. The new application also paved way for better interaction!
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We had daily stand-ups with the project manager, who communicated with the rest of the team. Throughout the project we had a strong communication with the team, and if there are any delays from their side, they kept us informed, so that we can plan things ahead. We used Teams, Jira, and GitHub to coordinate, and they worked well for our team.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They gave us a professional and user-friendly SaaS application that was easy to manage. My team has never worked with any SaaS application before and knowing this they took time and taught us how to effectively configure and manage the users and contents.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I don’t see anything that needs improvement. They have done it well and we are happy.
