When they designed our website, they added cool touches to the site, such as a needle and thread subtly going through the page. They also made the design look like a truck with containers behind it. I’d definitely take advantage of the fact that they’re super passionate about what they do. Leverage that — don’t just tell them you want A-B-C. Instead, give them context, and then ask them to synthesize. Anybody can create a website at the end of the day, but not everybody can create an impactful website. If you give them room and enough information to synthesize ideas, you’ll maximize the interactions and output.
