After choosing KlientBoost as our agency, they executed a technical audit of our social media account which we happily had to update based on their recommendations.
They were able to change our ads that the previous agency left them. After the audit was completed KlientBoost quickly created ads and landing pages while also continually optimizing our campaigns.
What was the team composition?
We communicate closely with Haley, our account manager, and Sara, our project manager lead. We have a few more on the team that takes care of ads, creatives, etc but I am happy to stick to communicating with one person.

Team composition was me on the client side, with and Account Manager and Creative professional on their side. Overseen by Account Director.

Results - we improved month-over-month with the number of qualified leads and saw a decrease in cost / qualified lead. Learning and iterating to remove inefficient spend. We ended up signing 18 new customers in 2020, blowing away our goal!

Our project manager was highly knowledgable and we had a good workflow. We scheduled updates every other week, and were on Slack and email for reviews and such.

I love how they bring new ideas and experience from other clients and industries. This let’s us reduce the time to get to critical mass of new qualified leads. It challenges us to think a bit outside the box. I also really like how they are very data-driven, but not without qualitative judgment.

While working with Klientboost, we consistently hit our KPI targets. Specifically, lead volume and cost per leads targets where achieved. Additionally, their design team delivered great quality landing pages and creatives on time.

With Klientboost, every month we would set volume and cost targets, but we would organize tasks on a weekly basis, so every week, on a 30-60 minute call, we would quickly review the prior week's KPIs, and then plan our next steps for the following week. Communication was mainly through email and skype. Our account manager was generally open to hoping into an un-scheduled call, in case plans changed in between weekly calls.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The Klientboost team was very professional. Communication with them was never a problem, as their emails were always very well structured, clear, and on time. However what we appreciated the most as a company, where their creative design inputs. Their design team is very strong, they brought new ideas to the table and implemented them very quickly.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Paid search performance was strong with Klientboost, but we had our hopes up with the Google Display Network as well, and unfortunately, we never quite cracked this channel throughout our relationship.

I worked for a garage door repair and installation company in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro. I was the sole, full-time marketing person for the company and my job was to get leads for their services.

We hired KlientBoost for PPC management of existing campaigns and Conversion Rate Optimization for the landing pages.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to decrease the cost per lead through better PPC management and/or increased Conversion Rate from the landing pages.
How did you select KlientBoost?
KB teaches everything they do, so I had know about them and utilized their tactics for well over a year on my own. When it came time to focus on other areas of the marketing, I wanted to turn the PPC over to an agency and KB was the obvious choice.

Full PPC management, including strategy, ad creation, bid setting, location targeting, ad scheduling, etc... We allowed them to change or manipulate anything they thought would be helpful.
The second part of their job was to create and optimize the landing pages that were used for the PPC clicks. Again, they had full control to do whatever they wanted to the landing pages as long as they thought it would help achieve a lower Cost Per Lead over the long run.
What was the team composition?
I had one main point of contact who I had calls/emails with on a regular basis to discuss progress and strategy. This was the same person that was actually doing the PPC management and (I believe) overseeing the CRO of the landing pages.
I also know that he had access to an entire group of other experts at KB who could help him if needed and they all met once a week to discuss, as a group, any accounts that needed extra attention.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The conversion rate of the landing pages they created went from 9-12% to over 20%. They cut Cost Per Lead in half. We already had a pretty low CPL, compared to the industry average, so their performance was excellent.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Communication was excellent across the board. Phone and email were enough to facilitate the relationship, but occasionally did a screen share so that we would both be looking at the same thing and there would be no confusion.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
KlientBoost gives all their secrets away. They have excellent blogs and teaching material that shows how they do what they do, so marketers like myself can help our own clients.

I was the Franchise Development Marketing Manager at Mathnasium Learning Centers. I was responsible to demand generation and inbound new prospective franchisee leads.

We hired KlientBoost to develop and execute a paid search strategy and Facebook marketing strategy. We needed their help to generate leads for our available domestic territories and international master franchise opportunities.
What were your goals for this project?
Our goals were to deliver 2,000+ leads per month and close 75 deals per month.
How did you select KlientBoost?
We did a series of interviews with 5 different digital marketing agencies. We met with them all several times and ultimately selected KlientBoost because we were impressed by their deeper level of insight into paid search, their unique SKAG method of building paid search terms and the team's personable and mature demeanor.
We were looking for true experts in paid search that had a significant amount of experience handling large budgets and results to back up their ability to spend budgets. The Vice President of Marketing, myself, our CEO, the General Counsel and our COO were all involved in the decision-making process.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
The scope was to develop a paid search and paid social strategy leveraging a budget of approximately $600K per month to deliver leads. They built and executed our paid search plan on Bing and Google including, but not limited to, setting up our keywords, monitoring performance, building landing pages, A/B testing landing pages, testing SKAGs, paid search text testing.
Additionally, they managed our paid social strategy for Facebook including the optimization of ads, ad copy, ad creative, landing pages, syncing with Salesforce and reporting of insights.
They were also responsible for reporting to us bi-weekly and on a monthly cadence as well to summarize overall results. My role in the project was to manage the agency, double-check their work, report back to our CEO and VP of Marketing and provide feedback and direction to Klientboost.
One particular campaign objective was to generate 2,000 leads per month in the specific geographic locations (zip codes) that were identified as open territories. Not only did Klientboost meet this expectation, they blew it out of the water.
Our CEO was very impressed by the month-over-month growth in leads and the lead quality was reported as higher than before we brought KB on. Additionally, we had another project that was much more challenging.
We need to set up paid search campaigns in 50 international countries. Klientboost successfully set up these campaigns in other languages with the support of Google's team and helped us with all translation and education around the differences of these international markets.
What was the team composition?
The team included a Senior Account Manager, an Account Manager, a Social Strategist, two designers, the CEO and the Head of Sales. The size of the team stayed the same over the course of the partnership.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We were tasked with generating 2,000 leads per month and not only did we meet that expectation, but we also exceeded it. Additionally, we saw an increase in the number of closed deals and our sales team was very happy to have an influx of leads in the specific geographic territories they were looking for those leads to be from.
The results of the engagement exceeded our initial expectations. We did not think we'd find such a committed partner and we felt prepared for our internal meetings with the CEO with their help.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow was effective between our team and theirs. We used Asana to manage our communications and keep projects organized. The team at Klientboost was very good with constructive criticism.
The only thing I would say they could work on is double-checking work before sending it over, however when I would tell the team about an issue, they would be quick to resolve it.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I was impressed by how young and ambitious the entire team was. They all seem genuinely happy to work at Klientboost and have a team camaraderie that is to be emulated. Additionally, their insights, educational materials and willingness to spend time teaching us was incredibly valuable.
Are there any areas for improvement?
As mentioned above, I think the only thing I would say is double-checking work with a fine-tooth comb before submitting it to the client and listening to what was asked of them. However, once I shared what I was looking for or the errors, they were quick to make changes and eager to please.

The company had previously used KlientBoost in 2019 as we were coming in. We loved their landing page design work and brought them back in 2020 for a second contract.

KlientBoost would help us build and optimize three landing pages for our high-performing resources across our product mix, along with ad creative to accompany the pages.
We would drive traffic to these pages through our paid search and paid social programs. During the course of the contract, the KlientBoost team will review performance and make recommendations for adjustments to the landing pages, the ads, or for general reporting on performance.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
When running CRO experiments, the expectation is to learn if a certain hypotheses is true or false, whether a change can impact conversions one way or another. There's always a takeaway and it might not always be a metric.
For example, in one of the variants we ran, we noticed that performance of our branded keywords tanked even though they did well for us historically. Sometimes, it's a new angle we can try in overall strategy.
Even when a change causes no change, we know that the change wasn't significant enough. There is always progress as long as we're making adjustments. Micro changes over time can lead to macro impact.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We did most of our communication via Slack which was nice from an "immediate response" standpoint. The rest was done via weekly status calls. KlientBoost did give us access to their project management tool for our project specifically which allows for transparency.
In general, the work moved pretty smoothly and we didn't experience any "misses" in communication even with the various tools.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They were always willing to provide recommendations even outside of their scope, which I always value in a partner. There was zero grumbling when we were nitpicky about revisions as well.
Are there any areas for improvement?
There were small lag periods for work being delivered on time but ultimately we were happy with the end result.

I’m the director of online marketing for a payment service company.

Don’t be overly prescriptive. Let them do their thing, you need to build a regimen of trust. Trust them.
