How did you select this vendor?

Found them through Google search and vetted them with 3 other agencies. After doing an audit of our current accounts, they had the most compelling presentation with the most targeted focus on our goals.

They began with cleaning up our account structure and reorganizing our campaigns according to a new keyword and ad group strategy. After running A/B tests for several weeks, we were confident that the strategy worked. Then we focused on revising and optimizing our landing pages according to this new strategy, aligning it with effective keywords and copy.

What was the team composition?

One central point of contact with several supporting. We had one account manager change; quality of output decreased slightly afterward but not significantly.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

KB helped to cut our conversion costs in half and increase our monthly conversion count by 50%. This was sustained over several months. They met outlined goals and made them more aggressive as we continued the relationship.

Our goals were to achieve a better ROI for our client, and to reinvest that spend into expanding the account in order to ultimately increase the top line.

How did you select this vendor?

We had been following KlientBoost for years as we pursued our own work, learning from their excellent blog, articles, online materials, and more. There are a few such companies that we follow, and part of this relationship developed into understanding how they could better help us with this increasingly unwieldy account. After speaking with them and understanding their objectives and methods and their dedication to success, we decided to partner with them.

Describe the project in detail.

The project entailed better organizing the Google Ads account in the first place so that it could be managed, understanding the success it had already had (something that some vendors find challenging because accounts are filled with low hanging fruit, but ours wasn't), and then building out the missing elements. The project was also designed to tap into unmined opportunities that existed in the account because they stay on top of the latest trends in online advertising, PPC, and Google Ads, and that is only a small fraction of what we are attuned to. Their expertise in this area allowed them to bring new ideas, experiment with those ideas, keep what worked and discard what didn't, iterating until the account grew and produced more value.

What was the team composition?

We have a primary account manager and he is on a larger team from which to solicit advice and feedback.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The account organization is infinitely more clear and manageable now. It is also much better monitored than it was before, ensuring that there is less errant spend and that the successes are able to be reinvested in new experiments. Through a challenging time we've been able to maintain certain key metrics and keep our feet on the gas for others.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It's been solid, because they do most of the work! I try to be very responsive, but this is all made easy because it's primarily a relationship between me and the account manager, who is always on email. I don't need him replying on Sundays, but that man is dedicated to his job!

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their dedication to making it right. We had a tougher account than they thought we would when we first came on because we had been optimizing for years. The easy stuff wasn't there, so the quick results and successes weren't there to prove their early value. They didn't let that stop them though. They asked constantly how they were doing, what to improve, and they heard my feedback honestly, putting more and more resources into getting me the results I wanted. They did not stop until I was very happy.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I think they know that there's always room to improve the results so they never stop believing that and never stop striving for that.

The project consisted primarily of the optimization, creation, and expansion of our PPC initiatives in terms of Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Facebook Ads. It also included the development and continous CRO Optimizations of target Landing pages.

We usually go through a project manager specific to the initiative at hand. Currently for PPC that consist of someone managing the account and a designer/cro expert for the landing pages. We also are able to keep in touch with the CEO to inquire on other initiaitves and updates.

As of currently there really isn't any. By the time something comes to mind they manage to already resolve it so my only complaint is that there isn't anything for us to complain about.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We drove leads at a reasonable CPL and when the product launched the first initial weekend, the results were pretty strong as well.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was just okay. As a startup, we were and still are very agile; so their response time, even though was sub-par, needed improvements. Also, some campaigns that were intended to launch weren't and I found myself doing them myself just to get them out the window.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

That they provided design services alongside managing Ad Campaigns.

Are there any areas for improvement?

It depends; but maybe it boils down to you get what you pay for. KlientBoost rate wasn't bad, I'll give them that. And they were above average when it came to the quality of work they did. But when you have a significant amount of budget carved out for Advertising, you itch for more than just average or above average. I eventually jumped ship to another agency (who were slightly more expensive) and their quality is phenomenal. Their attention to detail, making constant improvements, turn-around time, and reporting was the best I've seen --- and I've been in marketing for over 15 years. So when I compare KlientBoost to them - KlientBoost sat somewhere around average and above average.

Our inbound leads year over year are up approximately 75% which is largely due to Klientboost's efforts. This has resulted in more demos and more closed deals. We have also expanded the number of keywords and ad groups to more than double the pre-existing number.

The workflow is very effective. We keep in communication via Slack, meetings, and emails. We have access to communicate with our account team and the CEO whenever necessary so we haven't had any delays or issues with the account in a long time.

Early on in the process, we had an account manager that wasn't really working out. The company quickly shifted our team around and got us the perfect account manager. Since then, things have been smooth sailing. We also have a very collaborative relationship where both sides bring ideas to the table but aren't afraid to reject bad ideas.

For what projects/services did your company hire KlientBoost?

I hired KlientBoost to take over the management of our SEM/PPC and landing page conversion optimization.

What were your goals for this project?

I wanted to dramatically reduce our CPA and increase lead conversion across our search marketing platforms. I also wanted to implement remarketing and display advertising.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I requested proposals from several national and local service providers and evaluated the bids based on cost, accountability to performance KPIs, and account management plan. KlientBoost was in line with my budget expectations and proved to have a plan that met our business goals and were able to convey competency, transparency, and trust in the sales process. The final 3 options were reviewed by myself and the company's co-founders.

Describe the project in detail.

We went through a streamlined onboarding process to align on our brand identity, share assets, and determine our initial 3-month strategy and goals. We granted them access to all of our analytics and ad platforms for them to run an analysis.

They proceeded to run keyword analysis, restructure our campaigns and ad groups using SKAG methodology, and simultaneously developing new landing pages with CTA and creative A/B testing.

What was the team composition?

We had an account manager as our day-to-day contact as well as a dedicated UI designer. We also had access to the management team as well as the company owner to review performance.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our CPA on Google was reduced by an average of more than 200% and ROAS increased to almost 8000%. Our goal at the outset of the project was to reduce CPA by 20%.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I had weekly video calls with our account manager and they were highly available via email or if we needed to jump on a last-minute call. I also had access to their project management platform to view project progress at my convenience.

We also were provided a custom performance dashboard to see how all of our ad platforms were performing in real time. Communication was always proactive from their end and they handled the relationship with a high degree of transparency and clarity.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

As an SMB with a relatively limited ad budget in comparison to a lot of their other more high profile clients, we always felt cared for, respected, and valued. At every level of KlientBoost's leadership, this level of care has rung true throughout our business relationship.

This was proven especially true as our company was majorly impacted by COVID-19. They were immediately flexible in working with us financially and showed agility to help us pivot the business. They actively brainstormed and brought value to the table without being asked.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I honestly cannot think of anything that stands out to me as an area needing improvement based on my experience with their team.

When I worked with KlientBoost, I was the Paid Media Manager for a global cybersecurity company headquartered in Houston, Texas. I managed the company's demand generation efforts in all paid media channels including paid search, paid social, content syndication, and display.

We were in search of a new PPC agency that could carry out US and UK campaigns with world-class execution and service.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to clean up our paid search accounts in Google and Bing to comply with best practices, prioritize key terms for improved ROI, and increase conversion rates.

How did you select this vendor?

We found KlientBoost through a referral, but we also considered other agencies. Ultimately, we found that KlientBoost aligned with our methodologies and goals best.

Describe the project in detail.

After the kickoff meeting, we started by restructuring the account to align with best practices, revised key ad groups and ad copy, and cut some high-spending keywords that were not positively contributing to ROI. Month-over-month, we would continue to optimize and test new areas such as new keywords, new ad copy, new asset promotion, and landing pages.

They also were very diligent in adding negative keywords or adjusting keywords as necessary to avoid unwanted traffic and wasted spend. KlientBoost also recommended additional PPC platforms that were relevant to our business.

What was the team composition?

We had an account manager who handled the day-to-day communication and management, but we also worked with the landing page designers often.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We established benchmarks for cost-per-lead through the PPC channel as a whole. Over time, the optimizations and tests conducted through KlientBoost reduced our CPL and made our investments more efficient. I can't remember exactly by how much (I've been out of the role for about a year), but I want to say it was at least by 50%.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The KlientBoost team was extremely pleasant to work with. They weren't afraid to bounce ideas off of each other and provide their expertise without sounding condescending or saying "no, we can't do that". They always had a way to make things work, and we trusted that they would handle our account with care, treating it as if it was their own advertising dollars. They were very responsive, and when there was a switch in our account managers, it was hardly noticeable.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Not only were the results outstanding, but our methodologies aligned so well. I was confident that they followed best practices and had a tight reign on unwanted activity in the account.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There's almost nothing I would say that needed improvement. Any time there was an issue such as a misspelling in an ad, it was caught and remedied right away. So, I guess if anything, just expectation setting to prioritize accuracy over speed to launch.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

WIthin a relatively short period of time, our CPA dropped in half, which was badly needed and two other agencies were unable to do. That was a huge win for all of us.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Excellent. They are very responsive and care. Not a pretend care, but a real care. They are not perfect, but they really do try to nail it, which is a great attribue to have on your team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their corporate culture of caring and trying to do their best is impressive. They do not shirk responsibility, they own up to issues and they really do try hard to do the best that they can. That is rare. And even if everything does not go according to plan, they keep trying and work on new strategies. And when things do go well, they work on new strategies to improve even more. I liked that a lot.

Are there any areas for improvement?

That is a silly question, we all have room for improvement.
