They will come in and do the needs analysis and scope out the project and be a good partner and understand the workflows and the business and all that entails. They don't expect me or others to assess our needs, and I trust them to get that done properly. I wouldn't be rigid with what you need or want. I would allow them to come in as a partner and trust them to come in. They're very good at defining what you need.
