They used some very clever thinking: I needed three years of account, and I wasn’t able to get that, so they closed the year a month early and then turned my accounts around over the weekend to get the numbers that the bank needed to give me the apartment. It’s a convoluted story that mentions our relationship outside of my business, but it made all the difference to me in getting the apartment.
