The Company I work for produces beauty products and I am a partner.

For what projects/services did your company hire TaxCare Accountants?

We hired them to do our Limited Company Accounts and register us for VAT.

What were your goals for this engagement?

I wanted to make sure our accounts where compliant with HMRC.

How did you select TaxCare Accountants?

We saw the firms website when researching for Accountants in the Birmingham area and got a quote which was much cheaper than other accountants.

Describe the engagement in detail.

They are responsible for our bookkeeping, tax preparation, VAT registration and making sure our Accounts are HMRC compliant. They gave us access to QuickBooks which has allowed us to cut time spent on doing our bookkeeping in half. It allowed us and the accountants to easily see an overview of our business.

Describe their billing or cost structure.

We were invoiced monthly and paid via direct debit. This was a great option for us as we didn't have to worry about payment we would receive an invoice every month and the money would then be taken out.

What was the team composition?

I have my own client advisor who would deal with any enquires I had and answer any questions.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

I was able to cut the time I spent on bookkeeping in half with them offering me QuickBooks. Also they made our accounts HMRC compliant which was what we wanted and submitted our accounts on time.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I got instant responses most times from the staff. If I needed them at any time Monday-Friday they would always answer my emails or phone calls without me having to wait long.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The fact that they are cloud-based allows them to have access to my accounts without having to keep asking me for information and I have access to all my accounts 24/7 no matter where I am in the world. They are very friendly people who always advise us on what is best for our company to allow it to grow further.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Not at the moment, they should keep doing what they are doing.
