A lot of the infrastructure was set up on Goji Labs' own environment, which meant we did not have ownership of the database and other services that our app relies on, including the codebase. I think that they should offer the infrastructure and hosting ownership to the client, and let them decide how they prefer to set it up (owned by the client or by Goji Labs). Or at least discuss this upfront, this was something we felt was not very transparent and we were not given any options.

David met with our staff who is working on this project 1–3 times a week when we were getting close to launch, and now they meet once a week. When I have questions about billing or budget, I don’t hesitate to ask David. He is really transparent about where the cost is coming from.
