They’re always on budget. As a matter of fact, we’ve gotten into a rhythm where they can give us information each month so we can cross-reference what we’re spending and make sure the bills are right. On the other hand, we run agile software development, which means scrum. When we’re in an active iteration, we do daily stand-ups. All our team is part of it, and they keep us involved. We can make judgment calls and on-the-fly decisions if they need us to. Also, we have a great working relationship with their scrum masters, just in case something comes up during the iterations. Nonetheless, we always do a retrospective after an iteration, which means we do a team review on how we think the iteration went.

They did very well. I didn’t have any issues whatsoever. I really thought that they provided value at every phase. There were a number of different deliverables, but he has an artistic side and a design side where he’ll come up with these ideas and get his designers to come up with options. He also has this really exceptional editing ability. His attention to detail along those lines in helping the consumer understand what I do and how I do it with phrasing that makes sense was invaluable.

Dropsource has been very flexible and could scale up and down based on what we need. I’ve never felt we were being overcharged for what we were getting. There was never a question of the deliverables versus the cost. We have a great working relationship with them. Dropsource made themselves very available to us even when it wasn’t necessary inside of the framework of the RFP. We evolved into something more relationship-based rather than transactional. We’ve kept them on a monthly retainer outside of the original project scope because they did such a great job and went above and beyond to satisfy our needs.

The gentleman who was acting more as an architect was also the primary project manager, so they used Asana boards to track all the activities and things for which I had full visual. They included me inside of that environment so I could see what was happening on a day-to-day basis from the development process. Even though we were local, we did use Google Hangouts to do a weekly status update. They were able to provide the details about what was happening.

I think one of the things I've appreciated is that they were very personal to us. Bankruptcy isn’t one of the big flashy law fields that a lot of companies go after. Personal injury might be really big or family law, but Consultwebs puts a lot of effort into learning our field. This makes our content easy to edit and check. The research they put into these pieces has been obvious, as is their proficiency in understanding bankruptcy law. They specifically target law firms, but the effort that they've put forward on customizing to what we want is great. They focus more on substance than flash.
