Our web address was essentially a placeholder for our website. We build a budget website through a build-your-own website tool. We knew it was time to develop a new website in order to promote brand recognition.

We chose this vendor due to their experience in our industry. They worked well with us in the initial consultation and understood what our company was trying to promote.

Hosted a series of introductory meetings to determine what would best suit our company. Once our price point, design and other factors were determined, we quickly moved forward to the design stage. Weekly meetings were held until the website was launched.

We worked with a project manager, web designer and a few various behind the scenes team member. In total, we worked with 4-5 team members.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
One of our favorite parts about our project was the overall design of the website. In addition to the overall layout and look of the site, "Join our team" and customer interest submission links has proven to be a must-have for our company.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Beyond effective. We did not want to waste their time. On our end, we had to make sure we were prepared and knew exactly what we wanted and what the developer needed from us. The project manager did a fantastic job of communicating and staying on top of the project from start to finish.

I was, and continue to be, impressed by the firms overall response to any questions, thoughts or issues that arise.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Let me preface this by saying this is my issue, not the developers. However, I wish that I had more word press training so that I can effectively edit the website as need be.

We’re a distribution company in the CBD space. We’re located in North Hollywood, California.
What challenge were you trying to address with TheeDigital?
We came to them after a bad experience with our previous vendor. We needed to complete our WooCommerce site. It was beyond repair, so it was easier to build it from scratch.
What was the scope of their involvement?
TheeDigital gave us a five-week project for the first version. They did it in four weeks, and then we engaged with them for marketing. They do PPC, paid ads, backlinks, SEO services, and content creation and design for social media.
What is the team composition?
We have around 30 people dedicated to the project.
How did you come to work with TheeDigital?
We searched online and found good reviews. We found them on LinkedIn and confirmed them through personal references. They were more expensive, but they were worth every dollar.
How much have you invested with them?
The contract is worth about $100,000. We pay $5,000 per month for their services.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in September 2021, and we have a contract for one year.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We just launched last week, so it’s hard to have convincing metrics about our transactions and the efficiency of our efforts. However, our business is directly related to our ability to conduct e-commerce, and TheeDigital has been great at helping us stay compliant and stick to deadlines.
How did TheeDigital perform from a project management standpoint?
They’ve executed excellently. They set deadlines, have effective communication, and stay within budget. TheeDigital uses Teamwork as a tool, and it’s the only one they use. We don’t have to Slack them, log in to Google Docs, and go back to our email to ensure they got it.
Moreover, we only have to work with ten people on a biweekly basis. We have project managers for all the different projects and subsets of questions and responsibilities, and they handle the implementation. We also have a specific designer for templates, examples, and mood boards. However, if someone wants direct communication with us, they don’t have to go to the team manager; they can talk to me directly so we don’t have to play around.
Additionally, they’ve given me their phone numbers. If something happens, I can call them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They relate to small businesses and can move as fast as we need them to. If something takes 3–4 months, it might affect our cash flow even if it’s on budget. However, if we can do it in half the time, our cash flow will be much better because we’re moving faster. TheeDigital gets things done, and we can rely on them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We haven’t run into a situation where they don’t have a viable answer to follow through. I can’t think about something they can do better. They shouldn’t change anything; TheeDigital needs to focus on keeping their service exactly as it is now because it’s working.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Go somewhere else first, but don’t put a lot of money into it. Do what you’re trying to do and see how it goes. Maybe you complete the project, but if you don’t, all the lessons learned and the hard questions that might haven’t been apparent before will give you a playbook to pick a better team. TheeDigital is that team.
If you give them that playbook, you’ll have a quality product on time. Therefore, you should know exactly what you want. If you don’t know, this probably isn’t the company for you because they’ll execute exactly what you say. You have to be serious about completing the project.

We’re a Raleigh, N.C.-based telecommunications company. We provide satellite and wireless communications networks for corporations nationwide.
What are your role and responsibilities?
I’m the vice president of sales and marketing.
What was your goal in working with Thee Design Studio?
When we engaged TheeDesign Studio, we didn’t have an active social media program. We also felt we weren’t being effective in keeping our website updated, and there were some design challenges within the website that we needed some assistance with. That’s when we brought TheeDesign on.
Please describe the scope of their work.
TheeDesign’s primary focus has been on social media marketing, Web design, and related digital marketing activities. We do call on them occasionally for help with press release preparation and distribution.
What was your process in selecting TheeDesign with which to work?
A fellow employee who had heard good things about their service and capabilities recommended them.

They’re just really easy to work with, and they’re very accommodating with our schedule. As I mentioned, we’re a pretty small company, and the day is typically packed pretty heavily. There were a number of times when I had meetings scheduled with them, and I had a previous meeting run over.
They’re very flexible in accommodating that kind of thing, in getting work done in a timely manner and in working with various edits, suggestions or recommendations we might make.
Looking back on the work so far, is there any area that you think they could improve upon or something that you might do differently?
I really don’t have anything I would suggest they do differently. If I had any suggestions or concerns, I’d share those with them, and I’m confident that they would respond immediately.
What advice would you give to a future client of theirs?
I would say just to give TheeDesign a shot, because you will be pleased with their work. If you clearly define what you want from the engagement, I’m confident they will accommodate you in great detail.
They’re very capable, and they’re going to do good work. I think the key thing is making sure both parties understand exactly what the expectations are.

I worked with TheeDesign Studio in my roles with two different companies. The first is a company that I own. The second project was for a staffing company in which I am a co-owner. In both cases, they set up websites for me. Both business are in North Carolina, and we’re about to open a Virginia branch of the staffing company.
What was your goal for working with TheeDesign Studio?
For [the company I own,] it was all about sales. I’m trying to get people that are looking for my services to call me and to get new business from that. We’ve been very successful in that, I’ve received three to four times more calls since I hired TheeDesign Studio. With the staffing company, it was both looking for customers and for branding. We’re looking for people who are in need of staffing services to help them find a job, and we’re looking for clients that are in need of people.

The project is based around SEO [search engine optimization] and social media work to increase sales and increase exposure.
What was your process for selecting TheeDesign Studio with which to work?
I found them on their website, I found three companies local and interviewed all three of them, and I liked TheeDesign the best.
Can you provide a ballpark dollar figure for the size of the work that they’ve done for you?
It was between $10,000 and $50,000.
When was the project completed?
They have completed their original tasks for both companies. I went ahead and signed an additional contract for the staffing company, to increase our exposure to all the social media avenues, Google Pages, and everything else that’s out there. They’ve been working on that over the last year and done a really good job. That contract is ended, and I’ve now signed another contract for them to do the same work for my other company. I believe we’ll be working with them long-term.
Do you have any statistics, metrics, or general feedback from the project?
For the design company, we have received two to three times more emails and phone calls since we started with TheeDesign Studios. They have increased our exposure greatly. For the staffing company, we have received six jobs in the year we’ve been in business, and five of those came through the website. They do a really good job with the keywords and SEO [search engine optimization]. That was one of the areas where they really helped us out greatly.

The big thing, and the reason that I picked them over the others, is that I was able to meet the whole team. When they came in and gave their presentation, they said what team member was going to do what, and that’s exactly what happened.
I know these people are here in the United States, and the work is being done locally. A lot of times, you have companies where it’s a front, and the work is being done overseas. So, actually being able to meet the team and being able to go over and talk to them, which was the reason why I selected them.
Looking back on the work so far, is there any area that you think they could improve upon or something that you might do differently?
No. I’m pretty satisfied.
What advice would you give to a future client of theirs?
Go and visit them. They like to do face-to-face meetings, and I think that personal touch is going to help clients succeed time after time. They will be able to pull the information out of you a lot better by going in there and meeting the team.
