Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the HR Manager and Marketing Coordinator for a large Commercial Construction Company. We operate throughout Southern Alberta.

For what projects/services did your company hire Privatenode?

We hired Privatenode 5 years ago to redesign our outdated website. We have continued to work with Privatenode to maintain a relevant online presence. Although we have worked on several projects, in this latest project we worked together to develop and design a Corporate Social Responsibility page.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We have worked with Privatenode for over 5 years and have consistently had successful interactions over that time. Greg is a pleasure to work with and we appreciate his honesty with suggestions and direction.

Working with Greg has always been a smooth process. Over the years we have worked together projects usually start with an idea that we present to Greg. He then guides and advises on how to best proceed. We discuss, content, design, function. We then finalize the details and work to complete the project.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We have only worked with Greg who is a co-founder of Privatenode.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since our major website design and subsequent updates, additions, and redesigns we have seen a significant increase in web traffic. We now have analytics for web activity and also maintain a relevant web presence.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Greg is wonderful to work with. He is creative, engaging, honest, and understands the value of time. He is very timely in responses and provided realistic deadlines.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Greg is AMAZING! What I appreciate the most is his ability to see your vision and goal even when given the smallest of details. He really listens to his clients. Greg is solution based, he takes your ideas, gives direction, and makes things happen! Greg is able to see the big picture but also have attention to all the little details. I really enjoy working with Greg and can not see us working with anyone else!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We have only had fantastic dealings with Privatenode and look forward to our continued relationship.

I am a director at a safety consulting company based out of Calgary with an office in Ottawa Canada. We work with clients in the safety industry.

Our website needed to be updated so we hired Privatenode to complete this task for us. Greg at Privatenode also provides these services to us, web design, managed a wordpress hosting, domains, website maintenance (security updates, etc), and provide technical advise on the internet.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We looked for website designers in the area but weren't sold on their bid price and expertise. Privatenode (specifically Greg) showed us exactly what we wanted and we are very happy with our on going relationship!

The website development was a smooth process with Greg acting as the project manager for his team of expert website developers. We moved from concept, to template, to navigation and content quickly. Within a month or two we had a site that was ready for full feedback and approvals. The end result was a sophisticated website that remained true to our brand and messaging.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Approximately three resources to our knowledge. A project manager, web designer and a front end developer to configure our needs within the Wordpress template and web server.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Both before and after the web design project, our site was able to maintain its search engine optimization strength on Google. In fact we improved in several rankings because the website became quicker with its load speeds post launch. Beyond that we had several comments from clients telling us how great the website looked and how easy it was to navigate.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They had a very effective workflow. The new entire website was probably the smoothest I've been involved with. There was minimal fuss and Greg was ready to offer suggestions when needed, in addition to keeping the entire project on-track.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It is the little things that Greg and Privatenode seem to do well, and that are noticeable above the competition. Ways to improve website speed, ways to improve the navigation, ways to arrange the website on the web server to ensure efficiencies.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Quality is important to both us as the client and to Privatenode. They were able to build a site for us within our timelines and budget while achieving a quality website with the proper technical components working away in the backend. We can't think of how this would have been improved any better.

For what projects/services did your company hire Privatenode, and what were your goals?

Private Node has helped several municipalities with the development and maintenance of their websites.As the Secretary of the Milo Sustainability Committee of the Milo and District Agricultural Society, we initially hired Private Node to develop a unique website for the community. When I became the municipal administrator for the Villages of Milo and Arrowwood, Private Node took over our website hosting, security and maintenance. This relationship began after they recovered Milo's website from online hacking.

Private Node has best-in-class reputation and they were recommended to me by a friend.

In website development, Private Node has access to an entire team that provides comprehensive support to all projects, from design, technical programming, to content management, hosting and security. I have been very satisfied the quality and efficiency of the service, as well as their price point.

I work directly with Private Nodes project manager as the one point of contact. He's very responsive, friendly and fast.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Best in class support for municipal websites. Best in class website development for the Milo Sustainability Committee.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Thorough, be it by email or phone, and very responsive.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Private Node takes an interest in their clients, in getting to know their needs and doing what they can to provide the best quality product that suits the needs of their clients.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None. I have never had a bad experience with Privatenode.
