Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Head of Digital Business Develop, VN with Buhler Group. Billions of people come into contact with Bühler technologies to cover their basic needs for food and mobility every day. For this, we develop the best process solutions along complete value chains. Two billion people each day enjoy foods produced on Bühler equipment; and one billion people travel in vehicles manufactured with parts produced with our machinery. Having this global relevance, we are in a unique position to turn today’s global challenges into sustainable and good business.

For what projects/services did your company hire Bos Klein, and what were your goals?

We were launching into new territory. Provide our customers with the opportunity to create a digital relationship with our teams. We had a digital product that would enable this more intimate customer connection. We needed to spread the word and have a very targeted approach.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found Bos Klein by word of mouth. Their reputation of quality work proceeded them. We met Jeff Robison and team to review our plan. It was his questions that set them apart. He made us think of paths we had not yet considered. Even beyond the campaign and about our product.

First, we had a discovery phase. The team held several workshops where they asked us questions and worked to understand our needs. We then defined deliverables. At the end we let them guide us. They really took the lead and delivered.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Bos Klein brought a full team, from a talented camera crew, sound, and story board team, to a business manager and content developer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The campaign created a positive result. We had tangible content to show our customers. This was critical as the customers do not immediately see the value. It was important to tell the story. The material they created is "evergreen" and will serve us for at least 2-3 years. It has already resulted in close to $1M in sales.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow between the teams was not perfect at first. However, it was on our side as we had a team working with digital media that was new to this space. Bos Klein stuck with us, made changes on their side to make it work.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

A short answer: a very personal touch.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

If there was one thing Buhler and Bos Klein could have done different would have been to have the project better defined up front. However, this is hindsight. I am impressed where we wound up in the end even if the path was curvy at times.

We are reinventing ourselves, redefining our services and target audience. We needed help finding our language, tone, and copy that describes what we are or want to be.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

BOS got recommended to us by an acquaintance. I have conducted a couple of interviews for understanding the processes and capabilities.

First, we went through a discovery phase. We had online sessions with Marketing experts and Software experts where they capture the operation and services of the company and our needs. Next, we worked on the message and the tone of the company. How do we want to present ourselves, what language and spirit we want to communicate. Last we worked on the description of all the services of the company. They setup all the social media and online presence for the company and SEO.

5 People. A Project Leader. A Marketing expert. A Software expert. An SEO expert. A technical writer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We created the Communication Strategy. Defined the copy for all the Services of the Company. Created all the online presence. The deliverables have been created as expected.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective. We coordinated calls, managed the project in Trello and followed up on all the tasks and actions.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Humans and experts. They gave me personalized treatment, accommodating my needs, reworking things as requested. They pulled in the expert's the project needed.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We had to work on project management and coordination. I am a project manager by training and my expectations in this topic are high. BOS accommodated to my requests and followed the process.
