Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the Financial Manager for the Ascot Corporation, a residential construction and land development company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Freedom Tech?

We had a software migration from Dropbox to OneDrive, complete hardware overhaul, change of offices including installation and implementation of audio and video tech.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had a preliminary meeting with Matt from Freedom Tech initially where he provided the scale of the capabilities which they offered. We decided to go with them seeing as they seemed capable of handling our back office and field operations required to sustain the business in terms of technological requirements.

Describe the project in detail and walk through their service package.

Freedom Tech had an initial software install to do a quick scan to get a better understanding of our firewalls and cyber defenses. It was very apparent after this we were not up to date with what was required in this day and age to operate safely in the cyber world in regard to daily business. We supplied all the information required to let Freedom Tech take control and feels like it's been on auto pilot ever since.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We've worked with the president of the company directly on multiple occasions on and off site, and also a team of staff who deal remotely for ticket inquiries who are always quick to respond and have always got the job done.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The complete cloud migration and successful move from Whispering Pines to Southern Pines with little to no interruptions in daily operations was a huge success for us.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Freedom Tech has a very good ticket support system which give updates on progress and notification of completion.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I appreciated their integrity and the morality which they display openly to show we are not just a customer, but we have established a working relationship which further builds our confidence in this company, and the confidence to operate in our own company without the worries of potential cyber threats or down time.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In all businesses, growth is the very definition of areas of improvement. Freedom Tech is still a growing company, but they have proven capable of handling our day-to-day business operations and the special tasks assigned to them. Overall, we have been very pleased with our experience with them.

Freedom Tech assisted with setup and configuration of a transfer to cloud management using Microsoft OneDrive and a change, including total file transition, to Microsoft email.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I have known the manager of Freedom Tech for years and they have previously provided cloud phone and internet services, as well as IT services and fixes.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

Freedom Tech also set up a backup security cloud for security purposes and provides email monitoring for spam/junk/viurs. They were easy to work with, listened to our needs, and very reasonable in pricing.

We worked directly with Matt who was friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, and hard working.

The project has allowed us to work from anywhere in the world, including from home if necessary and have the assurance of confidentiality and security.
